The Covid-19 pandemic has already affected the economical condition of every sector of the world. The football world is not an exception. Some small clubs have already faced multiple crises. Now, some big clubs have started to face the same situation.
Manchester United may suffer a £191.5million in revenue loss this season. It is predicted that Manchester United will have a 19.5% year-on-year reduction in revenues.
The estimated revenue of the Red Devils for the 2020-21 season is £473.4m. It is the lowest revenue for them since 2015.
United faced an economic loss of £49.08m between April and June. Another loss of £34.8m is recorded between July and September this year.
In the latest press conference, Manchester United chief Ed Woodward published the annual revenue of the club. There is a 19.5% drop in revenue from the same quarter last year which is equal to almost £109m because of close door matches. There was also a decrease in commercial revenues of 25.7% which is almost about £59.7m.
Woodward said, “While the Covid-19 pandemic continues to cause significant disruption, we are optimistic that the recovery and normalization phase is gradually coming into view.”
“The club’s resilience and our strong commercial business continue to provide a solid foundation and gives us confidence in our long-term outlook beyond the pandemic, both on and off the pitch.”

The Cupertino giant has recently switched to Apple M1 chip for all of its products including MacBook Air, MacBook Pro and the Mac mini. Well, is it because of the performance improvement only that Apple ditched Intel? Partially true enough but in the meantime, Apple is reportedly saving about $2.5 Billion by switching to M1 chip and its for 2020 alone.
As reported by Wccftech, the report has been calculated by IBM AI strategy lead Sumit Gupta, who claims that Apple’s M1 chip will cost for the company between $40-50 per unit. If this is the case the price difference could be huge when compared that cost to a $200 Intel Core i5 processor for the previous-gen MacBook Air or even the MacBook Pro.
Obviously, this will help Apple save a lot of money on all of the new Macs and here’s a cost breakdown provided by Gupta:
ARM-based Apple M1 processor cost: $50 (might be closer to $40)
Intel Core i5 Dual-Core for MacBook Air: $200 (maybe $175)
Intel Core i5 Quad-Core for MacBook 13-Entry: $250 (maybe $225)
Costs of MacBooks with Intel:
MacBook 13-Entry: 8.6 M units x $250 = $2.15 B
MacBook Air: 5.4 M units x $200 = $1.07 B
Total = $3.2 B

Gigabyte recently announced that its next-gen AORUS gaming boxes are almost here and will be launched soon. The company claims that the Box is aimed at offering extreme levels of performance. The company will launch its AORUS gaming box with RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 cards, according to sources.
However, the company has only provided spec details of the RTX 3080 model gaming box. The size of the Box is 300 x 140 x 170 mm, and the gaming box weighs around 3.8 kg after the installation of the card. The company has also included an RGB light strip on the eGPU and a different I/O than its previous gaming models.
The gaming box will have three DisplayPorts and two HDMI connections along with a Gigabit Ethernet port. It will also sport two USB 3.0 Type-A ports. It also comes with a USB 2.0 Type-A port on the front, and it has support for the Thunderbolt 3 port on the back.
The company offering only thunderbolt 3 is disappointing, and the device will only provide 40 Gbps of bandwidth with Thunderbolt 3. Not to mention, the device only has support for PCIe third-generation technology. The pricing is not yet been disclosed, and the gaming box’s availability remains a mystery. But considering the demand for gaming hardware, the product is expected to be released soon.

A piece of good news is coming out from Oppo, as Oppo is going to launch Oppo Find X3 in 2021. This news is confirmed by the company at its Inno days 2020 conference. According to the company official, Oppo is going to launch a new technology- Full Path Colour Management System, which will make its debut with the Oppo Find X3 series.
The Oppo X3 series will be debuted with Oppo’s new technology, Full Path Colour Management System- ‘Full Path’ means that the system covers everything from capturing pictures. It will deliver ‘an outstanding viewing experience’ and also bring ‘authentic and accurate colour reproduction’. The system will also support High-Efficiency Image Format(HEIF) which will optimize the storage capacity. The HEIF will also support- 10-bit colour depth, and DCI P3 wide colour gamut with D65 white point.
The company revealed that its R&D team worked colour by improving the underlying system and hardware. The company also reveals the steps of its new system, which includes- image acquisition to computation, encoding, storage, and decoding.
The R&D team also promoted algorithms in areas such as distortion correction, multi-frame noise reduction, perceptual extreme super-resolution. According to the company official, the new system will also support Digital Overlap(DOL) HDR mode for image sensors featuring and it will also synthesize different exposure conditions into the image- which should improve image result even when the image is captured in bright light.

Recently the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 and AMD’s upcoming Radeon RX 6800 XT were paired together with the same type of CPU to run for various simulations of Vulkan Geekbench tests. The CPU that was used for testing was the beast that comes with 16 cores and 32 threads. That’s right; we are talking about the processor none other than the AMD’s Ryzen 9 5950X.
We already know that Vulkan testing is designed mainly for the developers to take full advantage of their CPU’s multithreading capacity. Hence the more threads a processor has, the better it is. It is a platform designed for beasts like Ruzen 9 5950X to shine.
The Radeon RX 6800 XT GPU, when paired with the Ryzen 9 5950X, resulted in a score of 167,622 points. The benchmark is the highest score currently available on Vulkan’s benchmark charts. Before this, the TITAN V from Nvidia was at the highest rank in Vulkan with 153,210 points. Now when GeForce RTX 3090 was paired with the Ryzen 9 5950X, it only managed to get a score of 136,182 points. It only proves that the upcoming Navi 21 graphics card is superior in all sense.
However, the Vulkan benchmark posted another exciting result that shook AMD’s AMD on the last note. The 32 threaded Ryzen 9 5950X was once again paired with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 graphics card, and this time it generated a score of 188,198 points. Now this result by Nvidia has become the top-ranked on Vulkan’s benchmark website.
Coming to specifications, the RX 6800 XT comes with 4,608 stream processors and 20.74 TFLOPs. It has 16 GB of VRAM along with 512 GB/s bandwidth. It is a high performing GPU. Now speaking of its rival, the green teams RTX 3090, on the other hand, has 10,496 CUDA cores and 35.58 TFLOPs. It comes with 24 GB of VRAM and 936.2 GB/s bandwidth. No matter how you slice it, Nvidia’s card has superiority over AMD’s specs and better performance. But in the end, it matters who can make more profits with their sales.
