New Dell G15 and G16 gaming laptops powered by 13th Gen Intel processors and NVIDIA RTX 40-series GPUs
The company’s new budget line of gaming laptops will soon be updated with new hardware says Notebookcheck and that makes sense as OEMs have been aggressive to bring new 13th Gen Intel chips to the latest laptops. Unveiled at CES 2023, these new laptops come with a bold new design approach with the G15 and G16, which are available in eye-catching colorways, with retro pops of orange and blue set against premium metallics.
Both feature our G-mode key, exclusive gaming function macro keys, and toggle audio keys to enhance the player experience. G15 offers one-zone and four-zone RGB keyboard options with numpad, while G16 offers one-zone RGB and Cherry MX keyboard options to fit your style.
Looking under the hood, G15 and G16 support graphic-intensive games with ease and consistency, even in marathon sessions, powered by the latest Intel, AMD and NVIDIA technology to help you get lost in your favourite games. And for the first time, G Series receives Alienware-inspired Vapor Chamber Cooling and Element 31 thermal interface.
In March 2023, you can expect the new 13th Gen Intel-powered Dell G15 and G16 gaming laptops, starting at $899 alongside the new RTX 40-series GPUs going up to $1,499. Whereas the Ryzen 7000H powered models will take at least Q2 to make themselves available which is again bad for those AMD fans out there.
In terms of raw specs, you get the same 15.6-inch 120 Hz FHD display with 250 nits of peak brightness on the Dell G15 whereas the Dell G16 will come with a 165 Hz display with QHD display and 300 nits of brightness.
For hardware, you can expect up to a flagship Core i9-13900HX processor paired with up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM and lastly up to 2TB of Gen 4 storage. An average gamer who needs the best specs at affordable pricing should indeed wait for these Dell G15 and G16 (2023) models.
