Apple is prepping for the launch of its iPhone 14 series later this year, we have already reported on gossip concerning the next year’s iPhone 15 as well.
iPhone 14 has not been launched till now and gossip about next year’s iPhone models have started arising online. A report asserts that it will launch the iPhone 15 models with the same display size as the iPhone 14 series.
The report also discloses that the hole-punch cutout will be a part of the iPhone 15 display. It is gossiped to oust the notch on the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max with a hole punch and a pill-shaped cutout.
Apple iPhone 15 Display Details
It has not even launched the iPhone 14 series and the gossip mill has started disclosing some information about the 2023 iPhone models. The report states that the next year’s iPhone models will have the same display size as the forthcoming iPhone 14 series.
As per the gossip mill, the iPhone 14 series will come with a 6.1-inch and a 6.7-inch display. The iPhone 14 and 14 Pro will sport a 6.1-inch panel, whereas the iPhone 14 Pro Max and the new iPhone 14 Max will sport a 6.7-inch display.
If the information in the report is appropriate, then the iPhone 15 and 15 Pro will also have a 6.1-inch display. The iPhone 15 Max 15 Pro Max will have a 6.7-inch screen. The report further states that the hole-punch cutout will be on all four models. It is gossiped to launch the Pro models this year with a hole-punch and pill-shaped cutout. The non-Pro iPhone models will feature a wide notch that we see on the iPhone 13 models.
The report also added that Apple is lagging behind the competition when it comes to under-screen camera technology. It was earlier reported that the 15 Pro models launching next year will have no cutouts on the display. The Face ID sensors were gossiped to be placed below the display.
We are more than a year away from the launch of the iPhone 15 models. So, the leaked information could change in the upcoming months.
