Motorola is expected to announce their Motorola Edge 20 series of smartphones at the end of July, the Motorola Edge 20 and the Edge 20 pro were seen carrying the model numbers XT2143-1 and XT2153-1 respectively on the TENAA certification site.
So what specs will the devices feature? All we know as of now is that the Motorola Edge 20 and the Edge 20 Pro will have a 6.67″ OLED screen that will offer a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400p.
The Edge 20, as well as the Edge 20 Pro, will carry the punch-hole design within which the front camera will be integrated. Both of the devices will have a high refresh rate of 120Hz. The Edge 20 Pro will have an in-display fingerprint scanner, but when it comes to the Edge 20, we are not sure if it will also feature the same biometric system or have a rear-placed fingerprint scanner.
They appear to be fitted with a hardware key that will assist in accessing Google’s voice assistant.
The Edge 20 has a 2.4GHz octa-core processor along with a 3,760mAh battery, the Edge 20 Pro on the other hand will feature a 3.2GHz octa-core processor and a 4,230mAh rated battery.
Previous reports have revealed that the Edge 20 will most likely feature the Snapdragon 778G whereas the Edge 20 Pro will have the Snapdragon 870 SoC. The Edge 20 duo will most likely support fast charging.
Motorola Edge 20 and the Edge 20 Pro will arrive in 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM variants. They will mostly arrive in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage variants. The devices as expected will come with Android 11 OS out-of-the-box and will lack support for external storage.
The camera details however are incorrect in both the TENAA listings of the devices. Recently, Evan Blass had revealed that the Edge 20 and Edge 20 Pro will feature a 108MP+16MP+8MP triple-camera system.
