Motorola will launch its new Edge Series on the 8th of September

Motorola has unveiled its Edge 2022 Series a while ago, these devices will be the first to feature MediaTek’s Dimesnity 1050 chipset but it is reported that the Edge Series devices will launch on September 8th and we will see more smartphones in this lineup.

Motorola will launch three new smartphones in the new Edge lineup:

The company posted a short teaser that indicates we can expect three new smartphones, the caption has its popular catchphrase, #findyouredge which confirms Motorola will be introducing three new Edge Series smartphones on the 8th of September.

The official names that the phones will carry still remain a mystery but do not be surprised if Moto decides to rebrand the X30 Pro and S30 Pro, two devices that are exclusive to China presently, and launch it to the global markets as the Edge Series. The X30 Pro featured the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen1 chip with 144Hz refresh rate, a 200MP camera setup, and a 4,610mAh battery with support for 125W wired charging support.

The S30 Pro packs the Snapdragon 888+ with a similar 144Hz refresh rate and a 50MP primary sensor. It has a 4,400mAh battery with 68W fast charging support. We are likely to get access to the official names of the upcoming smartphones as we edge closer to the official launch.
