What’s New in OnePlus 15s/15T
The OnePlus 13T and OnePlus 13s are very similar devices that represent the brand’s latest entry into the ‘smaller-screen high-end device’ space, and they’ve only been out for a few weeks at this point. Yet early leaks suggest significant upgrades for their successors.
The most notable upgrade is the camera system evolution. However, they will both come with one more camera on the rear, going from two to three, and while the source of this rumor hasn’t mentioned it, we think it’s safe to assume that an ultrawide will be the third camera. This addresses a major gap in the current 13s/13T lineup.
Battery improvements are also coming. The OnePlus 15T and 15s will also have a bigger battery than the 13T and 13s, as well as a new chipset, which is probably the most unsurprising of these details, seeing as how that’s always the main upgrade with every new high-end smartphone generation.
OnePlus Skips Number 14
According to this rumor, the next generation will have the same screen size. The brand is likely to skip the number 14 due to prevailing tetraphobia in some parts of Asia, jumping directly from 13 to 15 series naming.
The compact flagship space has been gaining traction, with users seeking powerful devices without massive screens. OnePlus appears committed to this segment with meaningful upgrades while maintaining the manageable form factor.
