OnePlus TV U1S renders revealed: New NFC remote with Ultra-thin bezels

OnePlus will launch its OnePlus TV U1S on June 10th along with the OnePlus Nord CE 5G. Ahead of its launch, a renowned Indian tipster has recently revealed the official-looking renders of the TV showing not only the design but also the specs of the U1S TV. One of the most important parts regarding the renders shows that this TV will ship with a new NFC remote. So, let’s get deep into the revealed renders of the upcoming OnePlus TV U1S.

As per the design, it is showing that the OnePlus TV U1S will have pretty thin bezels on the top and sides whereas, in terms of bottom bezels, it seems to be slightly thicker. In the center of the bottom bezel, we can see the OnePlus branding whereas on the right corner ‘Co-tuned with Dynaudio’ is imprinted. The company had previously confirmed that this TV is going to have hands-free voice control and by the render, we can get a close look at it, the detailed view of the microphone module.

Now coming to its remote, it supports NFC, comes in black color with an NFC logo on it. With the help of NFC, the user can flawlessly share content between phones and TVs. For the users’ convenience, dedicated hotkeys are there for Google Assistant and OTT platforms, such as Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. Other typical remote control buttons are there as well: OnePlus button, mute key, D-pad for navigation, volume keys, home, back, and option buttons.

Coming to the specs and features, this OnePlus TV U1S will come in three different display size options: 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch supported by 4K resolution and HDR. As per the speaker system, it is top-notch s well as it features 30W speakers with Dolby Audio (tuned with Dynaudio).

In terms of OS, this TV runs OxygenPlay 2.0 on Android 10 OS. It supports different voice assistants, such as Google, Alexa. Also, an inbuilt Chromecast is there. This TV has different modes, such as Kids Mode, Game mode, Data Saver mode, and so on. Coming to the ports and buttons, this TV has a single HDMI 2.1 port with eARC, two HDMI 2.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports. For connectivity, it supports dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC. The processor of the TV is paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage.

Apart from all these, this TV will have two-three more exciting features: two smartphones can be castable to the TV simultaneously, users can pair OnePlus Buds with it, and also can use the OnePlus Watch as a remote control. The company hasn’t hinted anything about the pricing of the device. For this, we’ve to wait until 10th June.
