We’ve got the complete leaked breakdown of everything you need and exactly where to find it. Let’s dive in!

Who is Buling and Why Should You Care?

Buling is an upcoming 4-star character classified as an Electro Resonator that uses a Rectifier, making her a solid addition to any team composition. Her Electro affinity opens up exciting elemental reaction possibilities, and her Rectifier weapon type provides versatility in team building. Whether you’re a hardcore collector or someone looking for a powerful new DPS, Buling deserves your attention.

The best part? You don’t have to wait until her release to start preparing. All her farming locations are already known, so smart players are grinding materials right now to ensure they can ascend her immediately upon release.

Wuthering Waves Complete Ascension Materials Breakdown

Ready to get those materials? Here’s everything required for Buling’s full ascension: 4 LF Whisperin Cores, 12 MF Whisperin Cores, 12 HF Whisperin Cores, 4 FF Whisperin Cores, 46 Blighted Crown of Puppet Kings, and 60 Pecok Flowers.

Skill Level-Up Materials: The Hidden Grind

Don’t forget about skill leveling! Leveling Buling’s skills requires 25 LF Whisperin Cores, 28 MF Whisperin Cores, 40 HF Whisperin Cores, 57 FF Whisperin Cores, 25 Lento Helix, 28 Adagio Helix, 55 Andante Helix, 67 Presto Helix, and 26 Curse of the Abyss. This is where the real grind begins, so pace yourself!

Where to Farm Each Material: Your Complete Roadmap

Whisperin Cores (All Rarities) Farm these by defeating the Whisperin enemy group scattered throughout the map. You can also grab them as bonus rewards from Forgery Challenges in Huanglong. Pro tip: Run Forgery Challenges for double rewards—you’ll get Whisperin Cores plus extra bonuses!

Blighted Crown of Puppet King Defeat The False Sovereign boss located in Sanguis Plateus. This is a challenging fight, so make sure your team is adequately leveled. You’ll need 46 of these, so budget your resin accordingly and tackle this boss multiple times throughout the coming weeks.

Pecok Flower This local specialty item can be collected in the Central Plains of Huanglong, or you can conveniently purchase them from Koko’s Shifang Pharmacy in Jinzhou. Since 60 are needed and purchasing is an option, this is actually your easiest material to farm!

Helix Materials (All Rarities) Farm these in the Misty Forest Forgery Challenge in Huanglong or the Abyss of Initiation Forgery Challenge in Rinascita. You can also obtain them from Forgery Advanced Supply Chests, making Forgery Challenges your go-to grinding spot.

Curse of the Abyss Secure these by completing the Threnodian: Leviathan weekly boss challenge. Since weekly challenges reset on a schedule, start this immediately to accumulate enough Curse materials before Buling’s release.

Pro Tips for Efficient Farming

Start with the easiest materials first—grab those Pecok Flowers and lower-rarity Whisperin Cores immediately. Focus on The False Sovereign boss runs during your daily resin spending, and don’t neglect weekly challenges. Banking materials now means zero stress when Buling drops.
