A quiet rural station, a blizzard that cuts off the outside world, and a body nobody can explain. That’s the setup for White Blast, a Korean mystery thriller that has just released a fresh batch of stills. If you like your suspense cold, claustrophobic and full of secrets, mark your calendar.

White Blast : Overview

Detail	Info
Genre	Mystery thriller
Theatrical release	November 18, 2026
Setting	Seoloh Station, a rural train station cut off by heavy snow
Lead cast	Kim Yun Seok (Gap Soo), Koo Kyo Hwan (Hyun Taek)
Supporting cast	Park Soo Young (Inspector Choi), Roh Yoon Seo (Officer Yang)

The Premise: Two Men, One Body, No Way Out

Gap Soo is a stationmaster close to retirement. Hyun Taek is his newly appointed successor. Their handover turns into a nightmare when they discover a mysterious body at Seoloh Station while a heavy snowstorm isolates the place. For more on the veteran actor, see the Wikipedia page on Kim Yun-seok.

What the New Stills Reveal?

The images show a string of unpredictable moments around the station, and every frame crackles with tension.

A startled stationmaster: Gap Soo looks shaken as he answers a call in the station office.
A broom at a tunnel: Hyun Taek stands in front of a tunnel holding a simple broom, which makes the scene feel oddly eerie.
A gun versus a shovel: Gap Soo points a gun while Hyun Taek grips a shovel, raising big questions about what happened between them.
Blood on his face: Hyun Taek wipes blood away during a tense standoff.

When the Police Arrive?

The arrival of the police pushes the story into a new phase. In the stills, Inspector Choi faces Gap Soo in the chaotic station office, while Officer Yang keeps a close eye on Hyun Taek, paper cup in hand. The contrasting expressions among the characters add another layer of suspense, and it’s hard to tell who can be trusted.

Why It’s One to Watch?

A confined setting: A snowbound station is perfect for slow-burn dread.
A strong duo: The pairing of a veteran stationmaster and his younger successor promises sharp friction.
Unanswered questions: Who is the victim, and who is lying?

While you wait, you can catch Koo Kyo Hwan in Once We Were Us and Kim Yun Seok in Escape from Mogadishu on Viki.
