Upcoming Films of Wamiqa Gabbi 2026 — After First ₹100 Crore Hit, Her Slate Has Never Looked Bigger

From a brief cousin role in Jab We Met to her first blockbuster at 32, and five films already in the pipeline. The upcoming films of Wamiqa Gabbi signal something unmistakable: Bollywood’s most patient breakout is finally breaking through.

Some careers don’t explode overnight. They simmer. They build. And then, one day, they cross ₹100 crore — and the actress finally gets to write the Instagram post she has been waiting years to write.

On April 28, 2026, Wamiqa Gabbi penned a heartfelt note marking the milestone she had long been working toward. Bhooth Bangla — the Akshay Kumar–Priyadarshan horror comedy in which she played the female lead — had crossed ₹100 crore domestically and ₹150 crore worldwide in just its second week. It was, as Wamiqa wrote herself, her “first 100 crore film.”

“Every step here has been earned, learned, and deeply felt. This is just the beginning.”— Wamiqa Gabbi, Instagram, April 28, 2026

Those words weren’t just gratitude — they were a statement of intent backed by one of the most stacked upcoming slates of any actress in Bollywood right now.

Why this moment matters

Wamiqa Gabbi’s journey to this point has been anything but linear. The Chandigarh-born actress made her screen debut as a teenager in Jab We Met (2007), spent years building her craft across Punjabi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam cinema, and finally broke through in Hindi streaming with Jubilee and Khufiya in 2023. But theatrical Bollywood — and its ₹100 crore metric — had always remained just out of reach. Until now.

What makes the upcoming films of Wamiqa Gabbi so compelling is the sheer range: a Bollywood comedy sequel with Ayushmann Khurrana, a high-octane Telugu spy franchise, a Dharma-produced romantic comedy with YouTube star Bhuvan Bam, and a reunion with Rajkummar Rao in the performance-driven Ujjal Nikam. She is working across languages, tones, and scales simultaneously — the hallmark of an actress in full creative flight.

For 19 years, Wamiqa Gabbi showed up — even when the industry wasn’t paying close attention. Now, with a ₹100 crore hit on the books and five films lined up, the industry has no choice but to take notice. As she wrote: This is just the beginning.
