Pati Patni Aur Woh Do Trailer Out: Ayushmann Khurrana’s “Pativerse” Gets a Wild Upgrade

The wait is over! Pati Patni Aur Woh Do has dropped its much-anticipated trailer, and it’s exactly the kind of chaotic, laughter-packed ride fans were hoping for. Starring Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead role, the film brings together an exciting ensemble cast featuring Wamiqa Gabbi, Rakul Preet Singh, and Sara Ali Khan—each adding their own flavour to this tangled web of misunderstandings.

At A Glance: Everything You Need To Know

If you loved the original Pati Patni Aur Woh formula of suspicion, gossip, and comedic confrontations, this spiritual sequel doubles down on every element. The “Do” in the title isn’t just a number—it’s a promise of twice the confusion, twice the drama, and twice the laughs.

From the trailer’s first frame to its final punchline, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do positions itself as a family entertainer where nobody listens, everyone assumes, and one small incident snowballs into neighbourhood-level chaos. With sharp dialogue, expressive performances, and a plot built on the classic “it’s not what it looks like” trope, this May 2026 release is shaping up to be the season’s go-to comedy for audiences craving light-hearted entertainment with plenty of dramatic masala.

What’s Cooking In The Trailer? (Spoiler-Free Setup)

The Pati Patni Aur Woh Do trailer wastes no time establishing its core conflict. Ayushmann Khurrana plays a happily married man whose life takes a comedic nosedive when an old acquaintance re-enters the picture. What starts as an innocent interaction quickly becomes fodder for rumours—and once the whispers begin, there’s no stopping them.

Wamiqa Gabbi steps in as the suspicious wife who isn’t buying any explanations. Her escalating reactions—from raised eyebrows to full-blown confrontations—drive much of the trailer’s comic energy. Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan plays the initial “spark” that ignites the chaos, and Rakul Preet Singh enters as the unexpected twist that turns a love triangle into something far messier.

The trailer’s biggest selling point? Nobody talks—they only react. And that’s where the comedy lives.

Why “Woh Do” Changes The Game

Unlike typical love triangles, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do multiplies the equation. More characters mean more assumptions, more side-eyes, and more room for hilarious misinterpretations. The trailer cleverly uses overlapping conversations and dramatic zoom-ins to show how quickly innocent moments can look suspicious when context goes missing.

Is It Just Another Cheating Comedy? Here’s What The Makers Say

Anticipating criticism, the team behind Pati Patni Aur Woh Do has clarified that this isn’t a film celebrating infidelity. Instead, it’s framed as a pure comedy of errors—where miscommunication is the real villain. The humour comes from how people perceive situations, not from actual wrongdoing.
