What Is DC About?

DC is a 2026 Indian Tamil-language romantic action film directed by Arun Matheswaran and produced by Kalanithi Maran’s Sun Pictures. The film is an adaptation of Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay’s classic novel Devdas, presented through a darker and action-driven treatment.

It follows Das, an outlaw, and Chandra, a brutalised sex worker, waging a violent war of revenge against corrupt police officers following the death of Parvathy, a bar singer. Their lives become intertwined as the story moves through revenge, love, violence, and redemption.
