India smashed Pakistan by 8 wickets in their Asia Cup clash

2

India captain Rohit Sharma was on fire as India comfortably won by 8 wickets against Pakistan in their Asia Cup match

Teams :

India:

  • Rohit Sharma(captain)
  • Shikhar Dhawan
  • Ambati Rayudu
  • Dinesh Karthik
  • MS Dhoni(wicketkeeper)
  • Hardik Pandya
  • Kedar Jadhav
  • Bhuvneshwar Kumar
  • Kuldeep Yadav
  • Jasprit Bumrah
  • Yuzvendra Chahal

Pakistan:

  • Fakhar Zaman
  • Imam-ul-Haq
  • Babar Azam
  • Shoaib Malik
  • Sarfraz Ahmed(wicketkeeper/captain)
  • Asif Ali
  • Shadab Khan
  • Faheem Ashraf
  • Mohammad Amir
  • Hasan Ali
  • Usman Khan

India made two changes to its side by bringing in Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya in place of Shardul Thakur and Khaleel Ahmed.

Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed won the toss and elected to bat first in a long-awaited contest against India at the Asia Cup 2018 in Dubai on Wednesday. But they only made a mere 162.

All-round India outplayed Pakistan by eight wickets in their group match at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Wednesday. Electing to bat first, Pakistan were bundled out for 162 as they couldn’t handle the heat of the Indian bowlers. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Kedar Jadhav starred with the ball as they shared six wickets between them. Apart from them, Jasprit Bumrah picked up two wickets.

In reply, India overhauled the target in 29 overs, riding on fine partnerships between Rohit Sharma – Shikar Dhawan and Ambati Rayudu – Dinesh Karthik. India started their run chase very slowly but once they picked up pace there was no stopping. Rohit reached his fifty in 36 balls which is now his fastest ODI fifty which surpassed his previous best of fifty in 42 balls.

The India opener added more misery to Usman Khan in the 8th over of the chase where the right-hander pounded the seamer for two sixes and a boundary on consecutive balls. On the fourth delivery of the over, the short ball was on the ribs. But Rohit Sharma was quick to latch on and pull it for a six. Despite catching the top edge, the ball had enough power on it to go over the fine leg boundary. Next ball, another delivery with poor line. It was placed at Hitman’s hips and Rohit swiveled to guide the ball past the short fine leg fielder. Thereafter, Rohit hited possibly the biggest six of the tournament by sending the ball 96 metres away. By sending the ball over mid-wicket, Rohit ensured 19 runs in the over the highest in the tournament so far.

Lionel Messi starts the UCL goal fest with a hattrick and sets a new record

2

Messi scored the first goal of this season’s UCL and went on to score a hat-trick. He has now 8 UCL hat-tricks, one more than his rival Ronaldo.

Lionel Messi broke the tie with Cristiano Ronaldo for the most number of UCL hat-tricks. His eighth Champions League hat-tricks made him the most prolific hat-trick scorer in the competition’s history, earning him more high praise from Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde.

The forward opened the scoring with a free-kick goal in the 32nd minute. If you missed that then hurry up, don’t waste any time and watch that free-kick now. It can’t be described in words. It was marvelous. Dembele added the second for Barcelona. Messi then scored his second goal and Barcelona’s third with 13 minutes to go. He then capped his display with a third strike three minutes from time.

Messi has begun the 2018-19 season in superb form. He has scored seven goals and assisted a further three strikes in six matches for Barcelona so far. He has now 48 hat-tricks in his remarkable career. He has now also netted more Champions League goals than PSV, scoring 103 to their 102.

Valverde lavished praise on the 31-year-old. “Messi is normal because we always see it. ” Valverde said to the Champions League TV channel. “In any of us it would be abnormal, but he does extraordinary things and makes them routine.” he further added.

The youth focussed brand Realme is soon going upfront with their most premium device the Realme 2 Pro. The date of the launch of the smartphone is on 27th September.

Realme 2 Pro Specs revealed with Snapdragon 660 & dual cameras
A still from the video posted by Realme

The Realme 2 has been launched a month back at Rs.8,999 and is a huge hit. With a notch on the top and with a premium design and with dual cameras it has made its mark in the budget range. Many consumers may have complained about the Snapdragon 450, but many of them are happy with that in the price segment.

Realme’s main motto was to challenge Redmi and focus on what the youth wants, so they chose Redmi’s path and brought the Realme 2 first. Now, with a lot of suspense and speculation, they are to bring the new Realme 2 Pro on September 27th.

Today, Realme CEO Madhav Sheth revealed the smartphone with the Technical Guru Mr Gaurav Chaudhary and hinted some of its specs like the Snapdragon 660, water-drop notch display and mentioned the price to be in the mid-range segment.

Realme 2 Pro Specs revealed with Snapdragon 660 & dual cameras

Realme 2 Pro as a whole

Well, it seems that Realme has been planning big and just before Dusshera they will just bang the market with a blow. The Realme 2 Pro will feature a huge 6.3-inch display with the water-notch that you see on the Oppo F9 Pro.

The screen seems to be crisp enough with an FHD+ display and with 91% screen-to-body ratio, the smartphone looks elegant and the glass back finishes on the smartphone just makes it better.

This time forgetting the MediaTek processors, they have chosen to go for the best in the mid-range – the Snapdragon 660 that features a load of AI customizations. Among all other AI features, you can expect improved performance and battery optimizations. More AI capabilities will be revealed on the day of launch.

Realme 2 Pro Specs revealed with Snapdragon 660 & dual cameras

Coming to the cameras, expectedly there will be a dual rear camera with 16MP primary and 2MP depth sensor. The front camera this time will feature 16MP with some great AI capabilities. With the Snapdragon 660, you can expect better image quality and enhanced camera effects.

As because the youth are certainly focussing on gaming these days on smartphones, this Realme 2 Pro will have Adreno 512 GPU that will help you get a better gaming experience. With a newer processor and new GPU than the previous Helio P60, a great performance bump is also expected.

As for the UI, the Realme 2 Pro will have the same Color OS 5.2 as you get on Oppo F9 Pro with Android Oreo. The exact battery is not known, but you can expect a large battery as you get on Realme 2. But unlike Oppo F9 Pro, you won’t get any fast charge support. Also, there’s the much-needed Fingerprint sensor this time.

There will be two versions of the smartphone – one with 4GB RAM and one with 3GB RAM with microSD card support. For now this much is known which nearly confirmed to true.

Well, we aren’t sure about whether there will be a 6GB RAM variant as seen previously on Realme 1. The smartphone will clash with the Xiaomi’s upcoming smartphone Redmi Note 6 Pro.

India plays against arch rivals Pakistan

0

The India-Pakistan match at the Dubai International Stadium on Wednesday has generated huge interest among fans. The two teams are facing off for the first time since the ICC Champions Trophy Final in June last year. So, tomorrow’s game is sold out, notwithstanding the fact that the minimum ticket price is 150 AED (Rs 3,000 approx). The global craze around this fixture gets on the players’ nerves as well, and makes experience a valuable commodity.

Mohammed Amir vs Rohit Sharma
“He is just a normal bowler, on that given day if he is good, he is good. It is not as if he turns up and blows everyone away,” Rohit tSharma had said before India met Pakistan in the 2016 Asia Cup.
Well, Amir trundled up and dismissed Rohit in that match and then accounted for him in the finals of the Champions Trophy in 2017. Although, he has not been in good wicket-taking form in the recent past, his angle has always troubled Rohit.
Usman Khan Shinwari vs Shikhar Dhawan
The young left-arm seamer was the man of the match in the game against Hong Kong. He accounted for three wickets in one over and impressed one and all with his pace and unnerving accuracy. He has the ability to swing the new ball and Dhawan has struggled against the away swinger in England.
However, he did find form against Hong Kong and has been India’s gun player in limited overs cricket in the past one last year.

Hasan Ali vs MS Dhoni
“The last time I took three wickets in the Champions Trophy final, my favourite was MS Dhoni’s wicket. I am looking forward to bowling against him again,” Hasan Ali said before the tournament.
He has been one of Pakistan’s leading wicket-taker over the past one year and has picked 57 wickets in 25 matches (since 2017) and has been Sarfraz’a go-to man in the middle overs.

Since making his international debut in 2004, the former India captain has been part of this marquee contest 33 times, boasting of an awesome record – an average of 55.90, which is higher than his ODI career average of 51.25, and two centuries. The first of the two was a scintillating 148 off 123 balls in Vizag way back in 2005. It was Dhoni’s first brush with stardom. The second came at Chepauk in December 2012.

India’s X factors are:
1. Openers getting runs, yesterday Shikhar Dhawan scored an agressive 127.
2. With MS Dhoni behind the stumps it becomes easier for the bowlers where to bowl.
3. Debutant Khaleel who has already taken 3 wickets in his 1st odi.
4. Two wrist spinners Chahal & chinaman spinner Kuldeep are in superb form. With the ball gripping a bit it would be easy for them. They have taken 5 wickets in the match against Hong-kong.

Cristiano Ronaldo became the 5th Player to score 400 league goals in Europe

Cristiano Ronaldo opened his goals tally in Seria A by scoring a brace against Sassuolo. Those two goals also marked his entry in the 400 league goals club in Europe.

Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo got his goal after more than 320 minute after his Seria A debut. Ronaldo secured the win over Sassuolo that resulted 2-1, by scoring two goals. The Old lady is now at the 1st position after four wins in four games.

Ronaldo was stuck on 398 league goals after his move to Juventus. He struggled to score in his first three Seria A game. But he finally scored his 1st goal in Seria A in his 28th attempt on goal, similar to his last La Liga season. The Portuguese forward scored his 400th goal from Emre Can’s pass. And he beat the goalkeeper Andrea Consigli with a left-footed shot.

Cristiano Ronaldo is the 5th player to score 400 league goals. He has three goals for Sporting Lisbon, 84 goals for Manchester United, 311 goals for Real Madrid, and two goals for Juventus.

The top 4 players with the most league goals in Europe are :

  1. Josef Bican is the player with the most goals on Europe’s leagues with 518 goals in Austria. He was the Czech-Austrian striker and the country formerly known as Czechoslovakia.

  1. Ferenc Puskas is the second player with 514 goals. He played in Hungry and Spain. He played for two clubs – Budapest Honved and Real Madrid.

  1. Scotland’s Jimmy McGrory is the next player with 410 league goals. He only played for Celtic. He scored 50 league goals in a season (1935/36).

  1. Uwe Seeler is the 4th player(till now) with 406 league goals. Like Jimmy McGrory he also played in only one team, Hamburger SV.

Cristiano Ronaldo, currently the 5th player on the list, can easily surpass Jimmy McGrory and Uwe Seeler in this season.
