After any kind of disaster the rescue operation is the first priority. This is very hard job to find out victims consuming less time in maximum cases. An extra second of time can cause of many deaths. To make this job a little bit easy and quicker for the Rescue teams National Aeronautics and Space Administration developed a Victim Finding tool called FINDER.

FINDER stands for The Finding Individuals for Disaster and Emergency Response.

FINDER sends low power microwave frequencies through the rubble. It looks for miner signals caused by the motion of victim’s breathing and heart beat.

The curse of the CHAMPIONS continues

2014 World Champions GERMANY is eliminated in the group stages of the 2018 FIFA World Cup !!

 

 

Germany are the fourth defending champions to be eliminated from the group stage at the World Cup in the last five tournaments (also France 2002, Italy 2010, Spain 2014). It seems that it a curse of the Champions. Repeatedly every World Cup winner in recent years have failed to progress beyond the group stage.

 

 

 

What went wrong for Germany?

Germans are the third successive World Cup champions to fall at the first hurdle in their title defence. A dramatic and shocking 2-0 defeat in Kazan proving the deserved death knell. Their loss to Mexico was due to lack of cohesion between defence and midfield when coming up against counter-attacks. But there is little excuse for failing to even score against a Korea side who came into the game without a point.

Low shuffled his pack in Kazan, making five alterations to the team which just about scraped past Sweden. Mesut Ozil, Sami Khedira, Mats Hummels, Niklas Sule and Leon Goretzka made the starting XI.

 

Ozil was dropped due to his performance against Mexico. But Low was annoyed by a lack of creativity on show in the clash with Sweden. But even with Ozil’s restoration, Germany looked sapped of craft and ingenuity in the final third. Ozil appeared their best route to goal in the first half. His silken touches, clever turns and intricate line-splitting passes exhibited on several occasions. But around him Germany offered precious little. Marco Reus drifted ineffectively. Goretzka struggled out wide and was sloppy in the middle. While Khedira again looked hapless in the final third.

On top of that, Joshua Kimmich endured a difficult time when pushing forward from right-back. His crosses invariably going straight out of play or too far to find a team-mate.

 

There were a couple of instances of promise early in the second period. Goretzka and Timo Werner going close following good deliveries from Ozil and Kimmich. But it was hardly the start of an imperious onslaught. Germany still needed more, their combination of slow movement and laborious thinking in the final third causing their chances of avoiding embarrassment to diminish by the minute.

 

The amounting pressure at the end minutes because of Sweden winning the other match.

 

With Sweden unexpectedly cruising against Mexico, Germany’s forays forward became more and more desperate to score. While Son Heung-min led a spirited counter for a Korea side really starting to threaten on the break. When you play with less urgency than a side that considers its own chances to be minimal, you know you have a problem. Structural issues have blighted Germany’s campaign and Korea’s late surges again showed them to be tearing at the seams. Shin’s men took full advantage – Kim Young-gwon scoring from close range in the second minute of stoppage time, before Son rounded things off with Manuel Neuer caught up the pitch.

  • This is only the second time that Germany have been eliminated from the first round at the World Cup. The last was in 1938. However, this is the first time it has happened when the first round has been in a group stage format.
  • Germany’s tally of two goals scored at this World Cup is the second fewest managed by a defending champion in the competition, only ahead of France’s zero in 2002.
  • This was Germany’s first defeat against an Asian nation in a World Cup match in what was their sixth such match.
  • Germany have failed to score in two of their three World Cup games in 2018, as many as their previous 15 World Cup matches combined.
  • This was South Korea’s first clean sheet at the World Cup since a 2-0 win over Greece in 2010; they had gone eight without a shutout before this match.
  • South Korea beat Germany in a World Cup match for the first time, having lost each of the previous two meetings in the competition.
  • Son Heung-min’s goal for South Korea (95:52) was the latest goal Germany have ever conceded in a World Cup match (excluding extra-time).
  • Since the 2010 edition, Germany have lost both of their World Cup matches in which Thomas Muller has not started (also lost 0-1 to Spain in the 2010 semi-final), compared to 80 per cent when he has started (12 wins in 15 games).

 

 

Author’s take

This is the worst German defence that we have seen in recent years. The players lacked the hunger for goals and winning matches. They lacked dynamism. There was no creativity among the players execpt a few. But from a team like Germany we don’t except few creativites. We are used to seeing perfect passing and attacking football from the Germans. But this time they lacked that. They had more possession in all the three games. But possession don’t win you games unless you use the possession to score goals. They lacked a good striker like Klose, their all time leading goalscorer. There was no notable movement in the final third. The Germans were out of idea. The retirement of big names and great leaders like Lahm and Schweinsteiger were felt. Their boots seemed to be irreplacable in this World Cup.

But there is nothing to worry. The Germans are famous for their NEVER SAY DIE attitude. So we can be sure of a great comeback from them.

Personally, I am very pleased to move forward and reach my goals with the team and continue making history. “After winning two matches 1-0, the best thing to do today was having done even better. I am happy we won and finish top of the group and make history again, because this is the first time Uruguay have won three (group) matches in a row in a World Cup and were top of the group. Salah apologises to fans

 

 

Egypt star Mohamed Salah has apologised to fans. After seeing his nation eliminated from the World Cup without a single point.

Salah went into the Russia finals with doubts over his fitness after injuring his shoulder in a clash with Sergio Ramos during Liverpool’s Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid in May. The Liverpool forward missed out on a narrow opening defeat to Uruguay. He scored a penalty in his World Cup debut as Egypt lost out to Russia in a 1-3 reverse.

The Africans’ misery continued in Group A’s dead rubber on Monday. Salah’s early goal overturned by Saudi Arabia to seal a record of three losses in as many games. The Liverpool forward wasted a golden opportunity to double the lead. It gave Saudi Arabia the chance to claw their way back into the game. Saudi Arabia won by a 95th-minute winner by midfielder Salem Al-Dawsari. The win was Saudis first World Cup victory since 1994.

 

 

The latest defeat led to angry scenes in the Egypt dressing room after full time

An irritated Salah alleged to have been the first to board the team bus. But Salah has vowed to return to international football’s biggest stage. As he begged disappointed Egypt fans for forgiveness.

“We want to apologise to all the Egyptian fans who came to support us here in the three matches, I know it is difficult for them, like us,” the 26year-old stated.

“I just want to say that Egypt reached the World Cup after 28 years, some players here do not have the required experience. Thanks to all of them and we will back again in 2022.” This World Cup marked the first time that the Pharoahs had reached the finals since 1990. It marked their first appearance since the second tournament back in 1934. Egypt are still waiting for their maiden win at the finals. They have drawn two and lost five of their World Cup games to date.

Coach Hector Cuper denied the rumours. The rumours suggested that Salah would leave the Egypt national team after the 1-2 defeat to Arab rivals Saudi Arabia. Cuper didn’t comment on why his star player hadn’t turned up to the scheduled press conference.

On the other hand, Nigeria promises no mercy for Argentina in their last group game.The scenario is such that a draw against Argentina would be enough for Nigeria to qualify, if Iceland loses to Croatia.

The Nigerian coach Gernot Rohr said “Sometimes, when you play for a draw, you get punched in the face late in the day. It will be a tough game and we must go with a tough mentality from the start to the end.”

Thus Nigeria is expected to adopt a 4-2-3-1 formation, moving away from the more attacking 3-5-2 system employed in the win over Iceland.

From Group D, with 6 points, Croatia sit on top of the table and only need one point against Iceland to win the group. Nigeria with 4 points can top the group table if they beat Argentina and Croatia lose to Iceland, as well as if Nigeria’s goal difference improves ahead of Croatia.

Struggling to make their mark, Iceland will aim for nothing less than a win.

A win against Argentina will guarantee Nigeria a place in the second round.

A draw may also be enough even if Iceland beat already-qualified Croatia, depending on goal difference.

For Argentina, they must beat Nigeria and hope Iceland do not win against Croatia, as that could send them home again depending on goal difference.

Messi’s Russian campaign threatens to be remembered for the poor penalty kick. It costed Argentina’s victory over Iceland. Then there was the under rated performance that followed by a 3-0 loss against Croatia. Argentina’s chances are hanging by a thread and unless Messi’s own performances improve, he will likely retire from the international stage without being a world champion given that he will be 35 when the next World Cup comes around in four years.

As a speculation around Messi’s retirement, the 31-year-old made a strong statement on whether or not he will hang his boots after Tuesday’s fixture. “I have won all the most important tournaments but I am ambitious to the end. I would not likely to retire from active football without being a world champion with my country”, Messi was quoted as saying by Mirror UK.

Review:

Honestly, the brand is a bit late in the market with its notch. This Z5 is going to be a tough competitor of Nokia X6, which is also a mid-range smartphone from Nokia. Still not to mention the rear glass design reminds of recent Honor and Huawei phones. The price range is good as its base variant is of 1399 Yuan or around Rs.14500 in Indian currency. Z5 is not giving a good processor at this range which is Snapdragon 636. The camera in Z5 is not that much of eye-catching, moreover, the secondary camera is just of 8 MP. Other brands in this price range is providing much more in the secondary camera where this device is somewhat lagging behind. The main plus point is that this brand is getting its first smartphone with notch with this particular device in the market where the notch is a trend nowadays.
