“Honest Opinion on the trend of Notch-display Smartphones”

There has been a trend these days to make smartphones featuring the notch-display…Previously we have seen companies like ASUS, Vivo & Oppo making smartphones that too has this feature…

Well, this trend of copying Apple has been seen for quite a few years. But to be honest this has made smartphone makers lose their own originality. Most of the companies think that making a cheaper dummy of an iPhone would attract buyers. So, Chinese companies are copying each and every move by Apple. Even, these days the OS of Android smartphones are being transformed to give an “iOS-type” feeling, which I think is too vague at all.

It was ok till copying software features, but now each and every move Apple are being copied to lure buyers. In this aspect, Xiaomi has always been out-of-the-box and always brought innovation in their own style. This has made Xiaomi top in India and China…

Huawei, world’s 3rd biggest smartphone-making company has also followed this trend of copying Apple for capturing the market. There’s no doubt that Huawei makes solid smartphones but this time they have too made an iPhone X copy- the P20. Well, Honor(brand of Huawei) made success by releasing 9i, 7X and 9 Lite

Honor View 10 was something very interesting which brought a lot of AI features in smartphones. This brought an evolution in the smartphones which made headlines everywhere… This is something which people want from the smartphone-makers…

But it seems the flagship series is going to be same “notch-fashioned” these days.

The main show-stopper is the Huawei P20 Pro, which features a triple camera…Well, to be honest now you don’t need a DSLR now for great pics because smartphones have become even more powerful than a DSLR…

It’ll feature a combo 40MP, 20MP and 8MP sensors on the rear. Rumors suggest that the 40MP sensor will be the primary one and will be paired with the 8MP telephoto lens. This will enable the hybrid zoom functionality on the device, which will off 3x optical zoom, 5x magnification. The third 20MP sensor is expected to be monochrome so that it can capture depth data and add more detail to your photos.

Other internal specs will remain same as the P20…But the Pro will have a bigger 6.1-inch Full HD display, with the same 19:9 aspect ratio and 4,000 mAh battery as compared to the smaller 3,340 mAh as in P20…
