An update on the Paul Pogba saga

It is an utterly terrible situation at the Old Trafford because Manchester United are out of Champions League. Furthermore, Pogba is not a part of the long term project at the club and is reportedly done with the club.

Manchester United are in a dangerous position. They won’t take a cut-price offer for the Frenchman in January. Someone might offer swap deals in an attempt to sway the club, but Manchester United will ask to see the money.

A move away won’t be easy for the 2018 World Cup Winner. Juventus were interested in bringing their former player back to the club without the coronavirus messing the finances up big time.

Problems started last month after a wavy spell of being okay and not okay with the club in spells. Swap deals were proposed by Juve this summer for Pjanic and Costa. Man United rejected the bid, as is surely evident.

The Italian Champions are really in the race for Pogba anytime he is available. He was great with the team and with everyone. Things in Italy are very different from the situation in England.

If there is no agreement for a swap deal, then they must sell. However, Juve won’t find it easy to do so. It has been very difficult for them. For example, Federico Chiesa was signed from Fiorentina this summer, but Douglas Costa And Rugani were let go for him.

Mino Raiola didn’t make it clear as to when he will leave. Whether that will be in January or June will be clearer later. This is because it isn’t easy to sell Pogba due to his huge wages.

PSG and Istanbul Basaksehir come out united in the fight against Racism

0

The match between Paris Saint-Germain and Istanbul Basaksehir was originally scheduled on 8th December but an unfortunate incident in the 13th minute caused the match to be suspended.

The fourth official, Sebastian Coltescu was charged with uttering a racist slur during the heated row near the benches. Apparently, Coltescu’s words, when translated in English equate to: “The black one over there. This is not possible. Go and identify him. That guy, the black one.”

The match was about to be restarted yesterday but there was no extra official who could officiate in place of Coltescu so it was postponed to 9th December.

Tonight, before the match, both Paris Saint-Germain and Istanbul Basaksehir came out together in this fight against Racism. Both teams players warmed up wearing ‘No To Racism’ tshirts.

PSG also put up many banners in their stadium to promote ‘No To Racism’.

During the start of the match all the players and the referees took the knee during the whole duration of the Champions League anthem.

This has been a strong show against Racism. UEFA have also announced that a thorough investigation will be conducted into the matter. They can’t give their verdict based on the allegations alone. But if Coltescu is found guilty, he will be facing a ten-match ban.

Apple introduces strict privacy policies for iOS 14 app developers

Apple is known for its production of iPhones and MacBook devices and its strict privacy enforcement rules. As such, the Cupertino giant doesn’t tolerate its rules being violated by any sources. As such, in a world where digital privacy is becoming a much-debated topic, Apple has introduced a new set of privacy rules that carry some grave consequences for their violation.

The new iOS 14’s privacy rules will be in effect from next year. According to the regulations, apps running on the iOS platform will have to ask for users’ permission before collecting additional information. The information collected for tracking and advertisements needs an exclusive license from the users. And the apps which do not follow the new rules will be banned from the App Store. And trust me, you can ask Epic Games about how serious Apple takes its banning process.

“This is not a change we want to make, but unfortunately, Apple’s updates to iOS14 have forced this decision. We know this may severely impact publishers’ ability to monetize through Audience Network on ‌iOS 14‌. Despite our best efforts, we may render Audience Network so ineffective on ‌iOS 14‌ that it may not make sense to offer it on ‌iOS 14‌ in the future. While it’s difficult to quantify the impact to publishers and developers at this point with so many unknowns, in testing, we’ve seen more than a 50% drop in Audience Network publisher revenue when personalization was removed from mobile ad install campaigns. In reality, the impact to Audience Network on ‌iOS 14‌ may be much more, so we are working on short-and long-term strategies to support publishers through these changes.”

The new rule is hurting individual companies like Facebook, which rely on users’ data to improve their business. However, Apple has been previously criticized for delaying its anti-tracking measures for iOS 14. But now, Apple has brought forth its new regulations to prove that it is all about privacy.

When an App on iOS 14 wants to access user’s IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers) to track their usage behavior and collect data across the Internet for ad targeting. It will have to ask the user for their consent. Apple is strict in enforcing its App Store policies, and app developers have to comply with its rules, else face the threat of being banned or even sued.

“There will be policy enforcement. Any form or mechanism of tracking a user for advertising or providing information to data brokers will have to ask for permissions. Failure to do so is a violation of ‌App Store‌ policy… and are grounds for having an app removed.”

Youssoufa Moukoko is the youngest player to ever feature in the Champions League

0

Youssoufa Moukoko recently became the youngest ever player to feature in a Bundesliga match at 16 years and 1 day old. The German wonderkid made his professional debut as a substitute in Dortmund’s match against Hertha Berlin.

With his appearance against Zenit in Dortmund’s last match of the group stage, Moukoko became the youngest player to ever play a Champions League game, aged 16 years and 18 days only.

The record was previously held by Céléstine Babayaro of Anderlecht, as he featured against Steaua in 1997 at the age of 16 years and 87 days. Moukoko has been unbelievable considering his age and has been hailed by Erling Haaland as better than himself at the age.

Moukoko was part of the St Pauli Youth Academy before moving to the Dortmund academy in 2016. The teenager has had an insane scoring record even at the youth level. He has scored 90 goals and provided 16 assists from 56 games for Dortmund’s Under 17 team.

What is even more impressive is the fact that he has managed to score 47 times and set up 10 different goals in just 25 matches for Dortmund’s Under 19 team. Considering the fact that he played with the senior players at such a young age, it really says a lot about his scoring ability and his maturity at such a young age.

Moukoko made his debut for the German Under 16 team at only 13 years of age and currently, at 16, features for the German Under 20 team.

Dortmund were victorious in Moukoko’s first outing in the Champions League, beating the hosts, Zenit by 2 goals to 1.

Referee’s racist comments suspend PSG vs Istanbul Basaksehir; the match will be played tonight

0

In what was a rather poor advertisement for the improvement of racist abuse in football, the Champion’s League game between PSG and Istanbul Basaksehir was abandoned. The main reason for this is the chaos that broke out early in the game followed by an alleged racist comment by the assistant referee along the touchline.

Sebastian Coltescu is the referee charged with uttering a racist slur during the heated row near the benches. Istanbul’s assistant coach, Pierre Webo was shown a straight red for causing the chaos, but Webo himself confirmed that there was the issue of racist abuse that had taken place during the heated row.

Apparently, Coltescu’s words, when translated in English equate to: “The black one over there. This is not possible. Go and identify him. That guy, the black one.”

Basaksehir’s striker Demba Ba, among the substitutes for the away side, could be clearly heard on television remonstrating with the official, saying in English: “When you mention a white guy, you never say ‘this white guy’, you just say ‘this guy’, so why when you mention a black guy do you say ‘this black guy?'”

“The fourth official used the word ‘negro’ in front of everybody. If the fourth official is removed from the pitch, then we will restart,” Göksel Gümüsdag, the President of Istanbul Basaksehir told Turkish television channel TRT Spor.

The match was understood to be restarted after both the players decided to abandon it, but the demands from the players were that the match would not be played if Coltescu was on the pitch. There were no reserve officials for the match, with two refs required for overlooking the VAR.

Hence, the remainder of the match will be played out today, with the game resuming from around the 14th minute. Kick-off is understood to be at 18:55 UK, or 23:25 in India.

UEFA have announced that a thorough investigation will be conducted into the matter and that the referee will not be assumed guilty on the basis of allegations alone. Should Coltescu be found guilty of racial abuse, he could be facing a ten-match ban from officiating.

Even due to the lack of infrastructure in his village, it was hard to find cricket equipment, for two years he ran barefoot.

Natarajan who is known for his good and lethal yorkers practised a lot with a tennis ball and later on after learning with a cricket ball, he debuted for Tamil Nadu in Ranji but was reported for suspect action when he hit a roadblock.
