Modric wants to move to Seria A side, Inter Milan, claims his agent

 

Cristiano Ronaldo departed to The Old Lady in July. And now the World Cup Golden Ball winner wants to move to Inter Milan, claims his agent. The Croatian captain has been linked with a Real Madrid exit. He has spend 6 successful years at the Santiago Bernabéu. He has won one La Liga and four Champions League and many other trophies with the La Liga giant, Real Madrid.

 

 

Italian publication, Corriere della Sera reported on Tuesday that Inter have not given up on signing Modric. The player will discuss his future with Madrid president Florentino Perez on Thursday. Marko Naletilic : “Modric didn’t just think about playing at Inter MIlan. He’s really thrilled by the idea of having a big role with the Nerazzurri. I have the feeling that sooner or later, he will play in Italy. He grew up watching Serie A.”

Perez and head coach Julen Lopetegui have been emphatic in their public assertions that Modric would not be sold. The Real Madrid president jokingly told that he can leave for his release clause value of €750 million (£670m/$870m).

Google is celebrating India’s 72nd Independence Day with a Doodle dedicated to “Truck Art”. A common motifs seen on cargo vehicles on the Indian roads.

Today on the 15th of August 2018, India is celebrating its 72nd Independence Day.

For all Indians Independence Day is a day to remember as the people who fought the Britishers and gave up their lives to free the country from a foreign ruler.

Google said, “Today’s Doodle-featuring images of some of India’s iconic colorful plant life and mighty animals. Inspired from the Indian truck art. A long standing tradition in this 4 million square kilometer nation where truckers who live on the road, surround themselves with cheerful folk art therefour to occupy their minds during long months away from their families.”

The doodle features a tiger, an elephant and two peacocks reflecting a typical truck art seen on the roads. Lemon & chilli combo are strung together in a thread are commonly seen at merchant establishment.

Parades are held in all state capitals and district headquarters to celebrate. Indians across the country hoists the tricolour flag to mark the day.

It is the first time that a Bengali, Payel Chowdhury will be captaining the Indian Women’s Kabaddi team in the Asian Games 2018

We all know about the Indian Kabaddi teams’ dominance in the Asian games. It’s like a fairytale. No other Asian country is at par with the Indian team. The Men’s Kabaddi was introduced in the Asian Games in the year 1990. Since then the men’s team has won gold in all 7 Asian Games. The Women’s Kabaddi was introduced much later in 2010. But from then, in 2010 and 2014, the Indian Women’s Kabaddi team won gold both times. No other team than India has won gold in Kabaddi both in the men’s and women’s sections, at the Asian Games.

This is the winning streak of the Indian Women’s Kabaddi team. Hope this winning streak continues this time too and there seems no reason why it won’t. The women’s team has been practising in Haryana for the last 3 weeks. The team’s captain, Payel Chowdhury also said that there’s no reason why they won’t win gold this time too. The whole team is confident that they will win gold for India again.

Payel Chowdhury has also made her mark in the Beach Kabadi. In 2014 she won gold with the Indian Team. But unfortunately, she couldn’t break through with the Asian Games team. This time she has not only made it to the Asian Games team but also has been appointed as the captain. She has captained India previously 3 times. But captaining India in the Asian Games is an achievement to cherish for the rest of her life.

Payel’s biggest motivator is her husband Prasanta Karmakar. Prasanta Karmakar is not an ordinary man either. He represented India in the 2010 Commonwealth Games. He won bronze in the para-swimming competition. Prasanta Karmakar has also received the Arjuna award in 2011.

Payel Chowdhury is a resident of Chandannagar, West Bengal. But she plays for the Railways. Though she often comes to Chandannagar and practises with her coaches. She had to wait till 2016 to break through into the standard Kabaddi team. She represented India for the 1st time in the SAFF Games. They won gold in the SAFF Games. In 2017, she also won gold in the Asian Kabaddi Championship held in Iran.

Representing India in a world event and winning the bronze medal is not a simple thing. But sadly, our media won’t be focusing on such talents. Players like Nithya Ramesh don’t get enough recognition and motivation which they deserve. Sports other than cricket mainly and football, badminton, and tennis to some extent, don’t get any coverage in our country. ASUS launches new Zenbook 13 and Zenbook S in India

This one is the most premium looking laptop by ASUS out of the three launched. With ultra-thin 12.9mm body and its unique hinge design, the laptop is just a killer.

The unique hinge design or the “ErgoLift” helps to lift the keyboard to a ‘more comfortable typing angle’ of around 5.5 degrees. Also, this design helps in heat management of the laptop by bringing the cool air to the bottom of the laptop.

This laptop too is quite easy to carry and good for working long hours. The Zenbook is a premium productive laptop that has good looks and power as well…

The laptop is slightly high priced than the Zenbook 13, it has been priced at Rs.129,990.
