Gram Chikitsalay Season 2 OTT Release Date- All Key Details

What Is the Gram Chikitsalay Season 2 OTT Release Date?

No pinpoint date yet — but the signals are loud and clear.

Season 2 is currently in production and is anticipated to release around May 2026 on Amazon Prime Video.

The first look dropped on March 20, 2026, and the buzz has been instant. Gram Chikitsalay is back with its second season, bringing more drama, emotions, and lighthearted moments — with Amol Parashar returning as Dr. Prabhat, a sincere doctor still trying to make a difference in the small village of Bhatkandi.

What Happens in Season 2?

The warmth of Season 1 returns — but this time, there’s real danger.

In Season 2, Dr. Prabhat faces a major new challenge — a corrupt official from the CMO office known as Babu Saheb, who controls both the shortage of medicines at the health centre and the future of ward boy Govind. The story highlights the struggles of rural healthcare, where limited resources and unchecked corruption create life-and-death problems.

This isn’t just a slice-of-life comedy anymore. It’s a fight.

Who’s Joining the Cast?

Bhojpuri superstar Dinesh Lal Yadav ‘Nirahua’ has joined the Season 2 cast — a massive addition expected to bring both comic energy and dramatic gravitas to Bhatkandi’s already colourful ensemble.

The beloved returning cast — Amol Parashar as Dr. Prabhat, Vinay Pathak as the local quack Chetak Kumar, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor as Dr. Gargi, Anandeshwar Dwivedi as Phutani Ji, Akash Makhija as Govind, and Garima Vikrant Singh — all reprise their roles, keeping the heart of the show intact.

Why Season 2 Will Be Better Than Season 1

Season 1 was called Panchayat 2.0 — a compliment and a criticism at once. Season 2 looks set to carve its own identity.

Season 2 promises a mix of entertainment and meaningful messaging, with relatable storytelling that highlights real-life issues while keeping audiences genuinely engaged.

Bottom Line: The Gram Chikitsalay Season 2 OTT release date is inching closer on Amazon Prime Video — and with corruption, conscience, and Nirahua all entering Bhatkandi together, this season promises to be the show’s most powerful chapter yet.
