What’s the Call Me Bae Season 2 OTT Release Date?

Prime Video officially greenlit Season 2 following a major announcement at the Prime Video Presents: India 2026 event on March 19. However, a specific premiere date is yet to be confirmed.

A full trailer and release date announcement are expected in the coming weeks, with the platform positioning Season 2 as a marquee Indian original release for 2026.

What Happens in Season 2?

With her own news show finally on air, Bae is ready to rule — but fame comes with fallout. Her personal life gets messier as she finds herself caught between her returning ex-husband and her distractingly hot boss.

But the real drama? A new friendship is about to implode.

Shruti Haasan enters as the “Nayi Behen” — a new force threatening to shatter Bae’s close-knit circle’s long-standing behen-code, sporting a surprising boho-chic aesthetic far from her signature edgy style.

Why Season 2 Is Already Bigger Than Season 1

Season 1 held top spots in more than 50 countries, including the US, UK, and Australia — a scale that very few Indian OTT originals have achieved.

Shooting for Season 2 went on floors by November 2025, with prep beginning almost immediately after Season 1 dropped — a sign of just how seriously Prime Video is treating this franchise.

The returning cast — Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskkaan Jaferi, and Niharika Lyra Dutt — all reprise their roles, keeping the beloved ensemble fully intact.

Bottom Line: The Call Me Bae Season 2 OTT release date on Amazon Prime Video is coming sooner than you think — and with Shruti Haasan crashing the behen-code, this season promises to be wilder, funnier, and far more dramatic than the first.

Update your calendars. Bae is about to glow up. 💅
