Real Madrid have officially confirmed the signing of Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic.
Luka Jovic has joined Real Madrid on a six-year deal for a reported fee of €60 m. The 21-year-old Serbia striker has enjoyed a breakthrough 2018/19 season for Eintracht Frankfurt. Jovic became one of Europe’s most in-demand players after scoring 17 Bundesliga goals and a further 10 goals in Eintracht’s run to the semi-finals of the Europa League.
The Bundesliga club, Eintracht Frankfurt have made a massive profit on the 21-year-old as they only trigged a purchase option in his loan deal from Benfica for a reported €6m in April. Benfica will also pocket €12m from the deal after inserting a 20 per cent sell-on-clause in his official departure last month.
Everyone is praising the young striker from his former teammates to his coaches.
Milos Ninkovic, a former team-mate of Jovic at Red Star Belgrade said: “He is such a nice guy. [At] 16 years old, to play for such a big club in Serbia is unbelievable. Back then when I watched him and talked to him, I said, ‘Look, you’re an unbelievable talent. You just need to work hard. If you do this, you’ll probably have a big career’. As soon as he came into the first team and I saw him, I knew he was a special talent. If he worked hard and focused on just the pitch – nothing on the outside – he would have a big, big career.”
Savo Milosevic, former Serbia striker who hails from the same city – Bijeljina as Luka Jovic said: “Luka is very, very, very special. His capacity for scoring goals is incredible. From any position and with any part of the body, he simply senses the goal. He is a natural-born killer. You cannot train some of those things. You have them or not. He will be one of the best strikers in the world in a few years, I have no doubt about it. He is still a kid. He is showing some incredible things. He would be great for Real Madrid. It would be a good solution for the club.”
Felix Magath, former Eintracht head coach said: “Luka Jovic scored both in the Bundesliga and Europa League on a very consistent basis all season long. For me, there is no doubt that a player like him can be even more deadly in front of the goal playing for Real Madrid, where his team-mates surely would provide even more chances.”
Luka Jovic will have to compete with Karim Benzema and Mariano Diaz for the central striking role in Zinedine Zidane’s starting XI. Jovic’s primary objective will be to score goals. But he will also need to demonstrate a willingness to contribute to the greater good if he is to usurp Benzema as the club’s pre-eminent forward.
In addition to his goals last season, Benzema provided 10 assists for his team-mates. This meant he was involved in a goal every 107.60 minutes throughout the campaign. He also created a whopping 70 chances and completed almost 58 per cent of his attempted dribbles. Jovic has an even better rate of involvement, his six assists ensuring that he played a part in a goal every 100.15 minutes. He created far fewer chances than Benzema, though, just 37, and did not enjoy as much success with dribbles, completing 42 per cent of those attempted. Mariano was nowhere near the level of Jovic or Benzema. He created only eight chances during his stop-start campaign, failing to contribute a single assist. So, Jovic’s main competitor at the club will be Benzema. He needs to learn from the big Frenchman. Benzema won’t be getting any younger, so Jovic is the player Real Madrid would want to develop for the future.

Who are the favourites to win the World Cup?
Les Bleues will be expected to pick up on the momentum left behind by the men’s French team, with the host nation eyeing the highest honour in football by winning the tournament on home turf. The French team’s best finish on the world stage was fourth place in the 2011 edition and the side have never progressed past the quarter-final stage of the European Championships. But this time they are looking to go all the way in the tournament. The French side have lost just once in two years prior to June and have beaten the two most recent world champions, Japan and the USA, in the past six months.
USA are the defending champions and world’s top-ranked side. They have never finished lower than third at a World Cup. A dominant run of 32 wins and just one defeat in 38 games going into this tournament suggests the USA are the team to beat once again. Experienced stars such as Alex Morgan, Megan Rapinoe and Tobin Heath are expected to guide the team to a potential fourth World Cup win.
In Germany 2011, Japan turned on the style by sweeping to the final and being crowned world champions after a memorable penalty shoot-out against USA. They are one of the most consistent sides in football. They were the World Cup winners in 2011 and runners-up in 2015. They will be eager to seek revenge on the USA, with the two sides having met in the last two finals.
England are arguably a strong contender to go on to win in France in 2019. Despite going out of the 2015 tournament through a devastating last-minute own goal in the semis the side were still able to finish third after beating Germany. England have never had a better chance of becoming world champions, they are third in the Fifa rankings and won this year’s SheBelieves Cup ahead of the USA, Japan and Brazil.
The stars of the World Cup
Brazil will be led by six-time FIFA World Player of the Year and captain Marta in France, where the Selecao will come up against one of the pre-tournament favourites Australia, Jamaica and Italy in Group C. Marta and Brazil were World Cup runners-up in 2007, with the three-time reigning Copa America Femenina champions beaten in the round of 16 four years ago, having reached the 2011 quarter-finals.
Marta holds the record for most World Cup goals,15 goals ahead of former USA forward Abby Wambach and ex-Germany international Birgit Prinz. “I’m very excited to go to the World Cup.” the 33-year-old said as she discussed her 15 World Cup goals. “This is one more reason to be with all my energy to try to score more goals, this motivates me a lot.” Marta is regarded as the greatest female footballer. She added: “I feel proud to be a reference in what I do, that you can reach children, who have you as an example. When I’m at the pitch I think about all this and try to make my best. My motivation comes from my daily life and then God gives you this gift. My life has always been moved by faith and persistence, and the results came. I share all these awards with my fellow players and with my rivals also because they make me a better player.”
But Norway starlet and the winner of the first ever women’s Ballon d’Or winner Ada Hegerberg will not feature for her country in the World Cup. Hegerberg, who scored a hat-trick in Lyon’s recent Champions League final victory, has decided not to take part in a stand against inequality. It is two years since the 23-year-old played for Norway, due to a perceived disregard for women’s football in the country.
Norway pay their women’s team the same as the men who represent the national team, but “it isn’t always about money” Hegerberg insists. “It’s about attitude and respect. We’re talking about young girls getting the same opportunity as boys – giving them the same opportunity to dream. If you can change attitudes in the beginning, things will change. The men in the suits can’t ignore that. They are going to understand one day. They are going to understand that this is about society and it’s about modern football.”
Some facts about this World Cup
Four teams – Chile, Jamaica, Scotland and South Africa – will make their Women’s World Cup debuts.
There is also a debut for VAR after it was used at last summer’s men’s World Cup.
Jamaica are the first Caribbean team to ever feature.
Brazilian midfielder Formiga could play in her SEVENTH World Cup. At 41, she could become the oldest player to ever feature at the tournament.
Barcelona have 13 players at France 2019, a new Women’s World Cup record for a single club.

Cupertino giant Apple launches their new Mac Pro with Xeon processors and Vega II GPUs at the WWDC 2019 with a starting price tag of $5999
Apple made some huge announcements at its own event WWDC 2019, most of them seemed to be software announcements and among them, the only hardware launch was the new Mac Pro.
Apple finally ditches the trash-can design of the last Mac Pro and brings back the tower design clad in Aluminium. It also features some great specs for professionals who need power-packed performance.
Introducing the most configurable, expandable Mac ever and the world’s best pro display. Mac Pro has a Xeon processor with up to 28 cores, numerous expansion slots, and the most memory capacity ever in a Mac. It also offers the world’s most powerful graphics card and a new accelerator card that eliminates the need for proxy workflows.
Intel Xeon Processors
The new Mac Pro is powered by Intel’s Xeon CPUs that has options up to 28 cores, the best one can get for a PC workstation. Also to cool such high workstation CPUs that consume up to 300 Watts of power, a massive heat sink keeps the system cool, enabling it to run fully unconstrained. The CPU options are:
8 cores, 16 threads, 3.5 GHz base clock speed, 4.0 GHz base clock speed, 24.5 MB cache
12 cores, 24 threads, 3.3 GHz base clock speed, 4.4 GHz base clock speed, 31.25 MB cache

28 cores, 56 threads, 2.5 GHz base clock speed, 4.4 GHz base clock speed, 66.5 MB cache
It features six channels of superfast ECC memory and 12 physical DIMM slots, the new Mac Pro allows up to 1.5TB of huge DDR4 ECC memory. The RAM support is up to 2933MHz DDR4 ECC memory and a memory bandwidth of up to 140GB/s.
AMD Radeon Pro Vega II Duo graphics
Coming to the graphics, you get up to two Radeon Pro Vega II Duo MPX Modules. The four GPUs combine to add up to 56 teraflops and 128 GB of high-bandwidth memory and come with 8 PCIe Gen 3 slots.
With 14 teraflops of computing performance, 32GB of memory, and 1TB/s of memory bandwidth, the MPX Module with Radeon Pro Vega II is a powerhouse. For more power, two Radeon Pro Vega II GPUs combine to create the Vega II Duo.
With double the graphics performance, memory, and memory bandwidth, it’s the world’s most powerful graphics card. The two GPUs are connected through the Infinity Fabric Link, which allows data transfer up to 5x faster between the GPUs.
The GPU alone could consume up to 500 watts of power for an MPX Module. So, Apple has put a humongous 1400W power supply into the Mac Pro.
The Cupertino giant has also implemented a hardware accelerator to the new Mac Pro called ‘Afterburner’ and according to Apple, the Mac Pro has enough power to play up to 3 streams of 8K ProRes video files simultaneously.
Security, Storage & I/O
For the security of all the data kept in the Mac Pro, Apple’s own Apple T2 Security Chip. It integrates with discrete processors into a single chip ensuring deepest security to the lowest levels of softwares.
Coming to the storage, the new Mac Pro starts with a 256GB SSD and is configurable to a 1TB, 2TB, or 4TB SSD — all encrypted by the T2 chip.
Mac Pro has extremely high-performance I/O and it starts with four Thunderbolt 3 ports, two USB-A ports, and two 10 GB Ethernet ports.
You can connect up to 12 4K displays or up to six Pro Display XDRs from Apple and see your work with over 120 million pixels.
Visit here to know more about all the specifications. The new Mac Pro will have a start price $5,999, for the base variant with an 8-core Intel Xeon processor, 32 GB of RAM, 256 GB SSD, and a Radeon Pro 580X GPU, and will be available this fall.
Apple Pro Display XDR
To accompany the new powerful Mac Pro, the Cupertino giant also announced the new Pro Display XDR. It is basically a 6K resolution reference monitor with a starting price tag of $4,999.
This is an insane display with 10-bit colour, 1,600 nits of brightness and 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio. It gives you the power to maintain extreme brightness without ever dimming.
Along with efficient backlight control, this delivers outstanding contrast between the brightest brights and the blackest blacks. With the breakthrough in backlighting technology, Pro Display XDR takes brightness, contrast, and colour to a new level. Far beyond the High Dynamic Range or HDR, it’s now Extreme Dynamic Range (XDR).
The Pro Stand has an adjustable height with a travel of 120 millimetres, also you can tilt and rotate the display into landscape or portrait according to your need.
You have two options with the display – either go for the Apple Pro Stand for $999 or use a $199 VESA mount adapter to attach it, but you’ll still miss the amazing flexibility that the Pro Stand offers in return of a hefty amount.
The baseline Mac Pro with a baseline Pro Display XDR and the Pro Stand will cost you an $11,997 without including tax or shipping.
So what do you think about the new Mac Pro? Tell us in the comments below… 🙂
Samsung announces its partnership with silicon giant AMD for their upcoming Exynos chips to implement RDNA graphics to gaming smartphones
The South Korean smartphone manufacturer who is the number one in smartphone sales around the globe are taking a huge leap in smartphone graphics. The other day it has declared a multiyear partnership with AMD to implement their new RDNA architecture to new age Exynos chips.
Samsung does make its own chips to power its own smartphones, but they have lagged behind Qualcomm for one reason mostly – the GPU. The Mali GPU isn’t that great especially at the premium segment, people expect more powerful graphics in this smartphone gaming era.
To bridge the gap and make new generation mobile SoCs with powerful graphics, Samsung ties its hand with graphics giant AMD and use their architecture for developing.
Previously they tried to make something of its own but NVIDIA did file a claim against Samsung to use their GPU design without proper licensing. This legal battle went for long days and ended with nothing for both sides.
It’s hard to see how two technological giants avoid each other in spite of the fact remains that NVIDIA uses their memory in the GPUs.
AMD introduced their new RDNA architecture at the Computex 2019
This significantly hurt Samsung’s own Exynos chips, because they never failed to implement the horsepower. Samsung even developed the 7nm based SoCs that is currently used in the Galaxy S10 and S10+.
They lagged behind the likes of Apple Bionic chips and Qualcomm Snapdragon chips by a huge margin if graphics is taken into comparison. Now, gaming smartphones are very popular these days and is basically ruling the market.
Gaming smartphones require a lot of GPU as well as CPU power, which Samsung is lacking in the graphics department. Using AMD’s new RDNA architecture will help Samsung to use its design on the new gaming chips for gaming smartphones.
PUBG on Galaxy S10 via BGR
Well, Samsung might not implement the RDNA graphics to all of their chips because ARM’s own GPU design is quite good for everyday tasks, but when gaming comes to consideration, this will definitely be a game changer for Samsung.
Adoption of our Radeon graphics technologies across the PC, game console, cloud and HPC markets has grown significantly and we are thrilled to now partner with industry leader Samsung to accelerate graphics innovation in the mobile market,
This strategic partnership will extend the reach of our high-performance Radeon graphics into the mobile market, significantly expanding the Radeon user base and development ecosystem.
Dr Lisa Su, CEO of AMD
But to keep in mind that AMD’s never really developed their own smartphone graphics but they have their vast resource of 7nm GPUs that consume low power, but for smartphone usage, Samsung has to well optimize and customize it with its own chipsets.
So this will be an interesting move, to see how Samsung and AMD implement their new relationship and how NVIDIA responds to that.
Electronics giant Samsung today announced their new set of Notebook lineup – the Notebook 7 and the Notebook 7 Force that is targeting the likes of other giants including Asus, Acer, Dell and Lenovo, and even Apple.
The regular Notebook 7 lineup will be available in two sizes, 13- and 15-inches, while the Notebook 7 Force only comes in the 15-inch form factor. Well, these are new age ultra-thin notebooks focussed on productivity and work.
These laptops will directly compete with current age ultra-thin notebooks like Acer Swift series, Asus Zenbook series, Huawei Matebook series, Dell’s XPS lineup, Apple MacBook series and Microsoft Surface products.
Samsung Notebook 7
This remarkably similar looking laptop series to Apple’s MacBook lineup is ready to challenge its competitors with its ultra-light and portable form factor. The 13-inch model just weighs around 1.28 Kg and the 15-inch model weighs just 1.69 Kg to 1.79 Kg.
Samsung has gone for a larger trackpad this time, not as big as you see in a MacBook but quite bigger than on a windows based machine. The 13-inch obviously lacks the numpad, on the other hand, the 15-inch one does have one and both of them feature a full backlit keyboard.
Coming to the hardware, the Notebook 7 is powered by the 8th-gen Intel processors, not disclosed whether the Core i5 or Core i7, but expect to be a quad-core processor at least.
On the graphics front, the 13-inch model and 15-inch model both have integrated Intel iGPU while the 15-inch one has an Nvidia MX250 GPU option as well. The laptop is coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and up to a 512GB NVMe SSD.
The Notebook 7 features a large 55Wh battery and a standard 1080p FHD display for all the variants.
Samsung Notebook 7 clearly focuses on productivity and is ideal for those who need a laptop to work for long hours. At $999 price tag, this is an amazing laptop that directly competes with its high end and highly priced competitors like Surface notebooks and the MacBook series.
Samsung Notebook 7Force
The Samsung Notebook 7 Force is a powerful version of the Notebook 7 which weighs more and is intended for professional workloads. It weighs around 1.85 Kg which is quite light to carry and work.
It is powered by the 8th-gen Intel processors, the proper one is not yet disclosed. Also, it features a powerful NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 discrete GPU along with 16GB of RAM, a 512GB NVME SSD.
The only downside to the offerings is the battery, which has been drastically reduced to 43Wh to make it lighter I guess, but it should have been more to compete with likes of Apple’s 15-inch MacBook Pro which has an in-built 83.6Wh battery
The Samsung NoteBook 7 Force has been priced at $1499 as because of its greater capabilities including the addition of one additional SSD and one additional HDD slot as well as Gigabit Ethernet. This one too has a standard 15-inch 1080p display.
This laptop can be the choice for a lot of professionals working on Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro or just coding or developing something due to the powerful GTX 1650.

Jose Antonio Reyes, former Sevilla and Arsenal star has died in a traffic accident today
Jose Antonio Reyes will always be remembered as a Sevilla great. He died today at a young age of 35 in a traffic accident. The whole footballing fraternity is mourning at the unexpected death of a great footballer.
Sevilla sporting director, Monchi helped to discover Reyes in his childhood days. He described the winger’s importance at Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, telling SFC Radio: “He was the most innate talent that came out of the academy. Not needing to improve on anything, he was already good, and what’s more, with his sale he allowed the club to grow, and then he came back to win another three titles. He is Sevilla history. I’ve been numb since the chairman called me, trying to wake up from what I want to be a nightmare but tragically seems to be real.”
Reyes is still the youngest player to ever represent Sevilla in LaLiga. He made his debut at 16 years, 4 months and 29 days in January 2000. He had a successful 20-year career that began in his childhood club Sevilla. Reyes has made 686 appearances in club football, which took him from Spain to England, Portugal and China. He is the only player to win the Europa League 5 times.
Jose Antonio Reyes signed for Arsenal in January 2004. He was a part of Arsene Wenger’s “Invincibles” who won the Premier League unbeaten. He scored 2 goals in 13 appearances. Fabregas and Reyes won an FA Cup during their time together at Arsenal and Fabregas opened up about the important role Reyes played in his career as a young player. Fabregas wrote a tribute on Instagram: “My first great friend in the world of professional football, my room-mate, who always wanted to sleep with the air conditioning even at minus 10 degrees. A humble guy who always had a smile on his face, great footballer and great person. I could not wake up today in a worse way. I will never forget when you and your family welcomed me at your home in my first Christmas in England when I was alone and 16-years-old. Our connection in the field was also special, since it was always easy to find you between the lines so you could make the difference. I always say that you have been one of the greatest talents in football and I know that I am not wrong. Two days ago I was talking about you in an interview, it might be a sign, who knows, to remember you, my great friend.”
Arsene Wenger, Reyes’ coach at Arsenal said: “I am devastated to hear the terrible news about Jose. To his family and friends, all support from everyone in the Arsenal family. He will remain forever in our hearts.”
Pepe Reina, a former team-mate of Reyes in Spain, described it as a “difficult day”. He told Omnisport in Madrid: “It is a sad day. It is something that you cannot expect – 35 years old. Suddenly, you find yourself in this situation. My condolences for the family, for his friends…it’s just a difficult day. The experience of 2006 in Germany [at the World Cup] seems like it was yesterday, to be there with his wife and new-born son. Life is like this, and you have to enjoy it while you can.”
After his time in Arsenal, Reyes was loaned to Real Madrid. Reyes scored two crucial goals against Real Mallorca to secure the title for the Los Blancos. From Real Madrid, he went on a permanent move to Atletico Madrid where he won the Europa League. Then surprisingly Reyes returned to his childhood club Sevilla once again in January 2012. He got the Sevilla success he dreamed of, winning three straight Europa League titles to take his personal tally to five – a record which he holds till now.
For all the inconsistency, there was also sheer talent and joy – in full-flight he was every child’s idea of what a footballer should be. Reyes departed as a hero in 2016 and went on to represent Espanyol and Cordoba. He recently signed for Extremadura in January, having spent 2018 at China League One club Xinjiang Tianshan Leopard. He saved Extremadura from relegation this season.
UEFA has confirmed that a moment of silence will be observed for Jose Antonio Reyes at the Wanda Metropolitano ahead of the Champions League final, today. UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin said: “UEFA and European football are deeply saddened by the terrible news that Jose Antonio Reyes has passed away and I would like to express my sincerest condolences to his family and loved ones for their loss. He had a glittering career and won numerous honours wherever he played and I am shocked and saddened that his life has been so tragically cut short.”
Seven of Sunday’s planned Segunda Division games have been postponed by the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) after the death of Jose Antonio Reyes. A statement from RFEF: “After learning of the death of Spain international footballer Jose Antonio Reyes, who currently played in the ranks of Extremadura, the Royal Spanish Football Federation has decided to postpone, with the approval of the National Football League, seven Segunda Division games that were due to be played Sunday, June 2.” The RFEF have also confirmed that there will be a minute of silence ahead of all their official competition games in the upcoming round of fixtures.
The world of football has lost a great footballer and human being, today. The untimely death of Reyes in a tragic traffic accident has shocked us all. All our condolences are with his family. We have lost a legend today. The unconditional love between Reyes and Sevilla rejuvenated his career – the club will now ensure that the passion and the Europa League three-peat live on as his legacy.

Eden Hazard has played his last game for Chelsea and had a special farewell courtesy his brace to win the 2018/19 UEFA Europa League. He now looks forward to join Real Madrid.
Eden Hazard put in a typically brilliant display in what looks certain to be his last appearance for Chelsea in Wednesday’s Europa League final against Arsenal. The Belgium international’s contract at Stamford Bridge will expire at the end of next season and Real Madrid are the clear favourites for his signature. After the Blues’ closing Premier League outing at Leicester City, Hazard said he had made up his mind and informed the club of his decision, but no official announcement on his future has been made. Following his two-goal display in Chelsea’s 4-1 win in Baku, Hazard confirmed the game was likely his farewell match after seven years at the club. He confirmed his Chelsea exit and it looks certain that Real Madrid is his next destination.
Hazard said in a post-match interview: “We played well and controlled the game and I’m happy to leave this trophy with the boys. The manager said to carry on playing football at the break and today we showed this mentality. During the past seven seasons, I was always happy, there are ups and downs, but the pleasure of playing football is still there. And when we win trophies it’s always good for everyone. We will decide in a few days [on my future] and the only target in my mind was to win this final. I have made my decision already and now I’m waiting on both clubs. I think it is a goodbye, but in football you never know. In the next few days, my departure will be official. I think it was my last game, it’s between clubs right now, I cannot talk about it yet … I hope to face Lille and Chelsea in the Champions League next season. My dream was to play in the Premier League and I have done that for one of the biggest clubs so maybe now it is the time for a new challenge.”
Eden Hazard joined Chelsea from Lille in 2012. He quickly adapted to the Premier League and became of the Premier League’s best. He has won two Premier League and two Europa League at Chelsea and also the FA Cup and EFL Cup.
In his seven years at the club, Hazard made 352 appearances across all competitions. He has scored 110 goals and provided 81 assists. He is also the third all-time highest goal scorer in the Premier League for Chelsea with 85 goals. The 2018-19 season was Hazard’s best in terms of goals for Chelsea. He scored 21 goals across all competitions. Hazard’s best campaign for assists was 2012-13 when he created 19 goals. This term he laid on 17, with 15 coming in the Premier League to make him the most creative player across Europe’s top five leagues. The Belgian attempted (1,441) and complete (909) more dribbles than any other Premier League player since the start of the 2012-13 season.
Chelsea captain Azpilicueta told beIN Sports: “It’s a big loss for us, as a player and as a person. We came here together seven years ago, we have won six trophies, it’s been amazing on and off the pitch for me. I can only wish him the best because he’s a very good friend of mine. The desire he’s shown on the pitch for the club, his behaviour as the star man, I think everybody in the club loves him. Honestly, the times that he had to cope with the rumours, always going, they put him in a lot of teams. He always showed his desire not to sign for an English team, even if he could have a better contract. He has never been a selfish person, he always had this dream to play for Real Madrid and we will see what happens but I think he has been very honest until the last day. That’s why the fans, they love him, because he didn’t play with the club, he didn’t push for another contract, just always give his best, he was very clear with the club and that’s why the club is so happy with him. It’s a big opportunity for him. He’s been amazing for us and I hope he still wins trophies with Real Madrid. [It’s] very sad, amazing person, amazing player, has been a very important part of our team. A good friend of mine, very close, we arrived seven years ago together from France and if that moment comes, obviously, I’ll be very sad.”
Hazard’s Chelsea teammate, Kante said: “It’s not sad. I think Eden did an amazing job, had an amazing time with Chelsea. He stayed here a long time, he won many trophies. He played amazing tonight [in the Europa League final]. We are happy for him. I don’t know what is going to happen next, but we can only wish him the best because he did a lot for Chelsea. It was a pleasure to play with him and we’ll see what happens.”
Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri said in a press conference: “As you know, Hazard is a wonderful player, but you have to spend two or three months to understand him as a man. But when you are able to understand him as a man, he’s a wonderful man. I knew. I knew that Eden wanted to leave, of course. But, as I said in every press conference, I wanted to respect his decision. And now I have to speak to my club.”
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is hoping Chelsea star Eden Hazard joins the LaLiga giants in the off-season. He will be welcomed with open hearts at the Bernabeu. Perez said: “We’ve been trying for a number of years to make Hazard a Real Madrid player, but we haven’t achieved it yet. I’d really like Hazard to come to Real Madrid and really hope he does. He is one of the best footballers.”
It is set to be a busy transfer window for Real Madrid, with head coach Zinedine Zidane poised to overhaul a side that finished third in LaLiga and bowed out of the Champions League in the last 16.
