Barcelona completes second signing Neto for a €26m agreement with Valencia.

The Brazil international goalkeeper has completed a switch to Camp Nou on a four-year contract through to the end of the 2022-23 season. Barcelona has confirmed the arrival of Neto from La Liga rivals Valencia in a deal costing for €26 million (£23m/$30m) and further €9m in add-ons.

Barcelona has tied him to a four-year contract through to the end of the 2022-23 season. A move for Neto comes hot on the heels of the Blaugrana agreeing to offload Dutch custodian Jasper Cillessen to Valencia.

FC Barcelona on Twitter

⚠ All the details about the new @FCBarcelona goalkeeper @Neto_Murara 🔵🔴 #ReadyToColor

Neto has been in European football since 2011 when he linked up with Fiorentina. Four years were spent in Florence before moving on to Serie A giants Juventus.

An opportunity to start afresh presented itself in 2017 when Valencia came calling. Two seasons with Los Che have delivered 80 appearances and a first senior international cap with Brazil.

The 29 year old is Barcelona’s second signing of this summer, having already confirmed the arrival of Frenkie De Jong.

Realme teases a new 64MP Camera Phone

Realme has changed the smartphone world in just a year and acquired the fourth spot among top-selling smartphone brands. Their quality devices at an amazing price are the key to their immense success.

Besides quality, their aggressive approach towards the youth with innovative specs has made Realme smartphones reliable. The recently released Realme 3 and Realme 3 Pro got immense success in India, selling millions of units in months.

Realme X was launched in China back in May and Realme India CEO told that it would be launched sometime in Q2 of 2019. Realme X’s key highlight was the pop-up selfie camera and a 6.53-inch bezel-less display. Know more about it here.

Now Madhav Seth has teased about a new Realme smartphone bearing 64MP primary camera sensor. When everyone is on hype regarding the 48MP camera smartphones, Realme takes a leap ahead.

Realme teases a new 64MP Camera Phone

Realme even teased this new smartphone to have quad camera setup, which is the first ever implementation by the brand.

The 64MP camera implemented here will be using the Bright GW1 sensor from Samsung. This will let the smartphone shoot 16MP photos with an effective pixel size of 1.6µm which will indeed enhance the low-light camera performance.

Rumours were previously coming that the first 64MP camera smartphone will be coming from Samsung or Xiaomi. But now when Madhav Seth tweeted a sample photo shot on this new device it is pretty sure Realme will be first to use the 64MP Samsung Bright GW1 sensor.

Madhav X on Twitter

Here’s a glimpse of what this realme prototype can do. Even compared it with some other flagship model in a more premium price segment. Buckle up and #DareToLeap to some real exciting camera experience this year.

Another noticeable fact is the company’s new #DareToLeap tagline that is being heavily marketed that suggests a new smartphone launch. On Twitter, Madhav Seth has changed his name to Madhav X hinting the launch of the upcoming Realme X.

Next month, Xiaomi will be launching its new Redmi K20 and K20 Pro, and I think Realme will not be quite to their rival’s flagship smartphones. So next month we can expect the launch of a “new smartphone” or “smartphones,” who knows?

Previously it was heard Realme would be launching both Realme X and Realme X Pro with flagship processors and specs. Maybe this 64MP is the new flagship that will be taking on the Redmi K20 Pro.

With coming days, more leaks and hints can tell us what Realme is actually up to, and we will keep you informed about it.

Matthijs De Ligt is on the verge of joining Juventus after agreeing on personal terms

The 19-year old defender has reportedly agreed on personal terms with Juventus and will join them this summer.

Juventus have finally got their key man. Ajax captain Matthijs De Ligt is already one of the best centre backs at a very tender age of 19 years. The arrival of De Ligt in Turin would be a boost for Juventus, whose formidable defence has the likes of Giorgio Chiellini, 34, and Leonardo Bonucci, 32, nearing retirement. De Ligt is earmarked as the heir of Chiellini. The Serie A champions already have Ronaldo to spearhead their attack. Now they have acquired another defensive leader, as they continue to pursue their dream of winning the Champions League.

De Ligt

A story in The Guardian on Thursday claimed that the centre-back has said ‘yes’ to the Bianconeri, in a deal that would see him become one of the best-paid players in the world.

De Ligt has reportedly accepted a five-year contract worth €12million a year from Juventus. He will earn a basic salary of €300,000-per-week at Juventus, with performance-related bonuses taking that up to a potential €440,000-per-week. The deal will also have a release clause of €150m.

De Ligt

PSG, however, have still not given up on winning the race for a player who captained Ajax to the Champions League semi-finals last season and who has already won 17 caps for the Netherlands. The PSG sporting director, Leonardo, is still in contact with the Dutch club as well as Raiola, trying to convince them to sell to the Ligue 1 club instead.

But Juventus are very much in the driving seat for De Ligt’s signature. Now it’s down to the Bianconeri to agree on a fee with Ajax over their captain. The Italian outfit is hopeful that somewhere close to €70m should see him come to Turin.

De Ligt and Ronaldo

The 19-year old defender has also revealed that he was asked about a move to Juventus by Ronaldo, who moved to Turin from Real Madrid for €100 m last summer, at the end of the Nations League final earlier this month.

BCCI chose the orange colour combination for India’s away jersey, confirms ICC

Before the start of the World Cup, ICC introduced a new rule asking the teams to sport home and away jerseys in the tournament.

The Indian cricket team might not be seen in their trade mark blue colour jersey as the side will sport orange colour. In their upcoming match against England in the ongoing ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2019,England and Wales.

727bc 15615696967650 800 BCCI chose the orange colour combination for India's away jersey, confirms ICC

Indian players will wear their away kit in the match against England on June 30.

“Colour options were given to BCCI and they chose the colour combination that looked the best to them. The whole idea is to be different from blue as England also wears the same shade of blue as India,” an ICC source told ANI.

“Also the design (orange) is taken from India’s old T20 jersey which had orange in it. The designers who are sitting in the USA designed this jersey from something that already existed. And not something completely new that fans don’t identify with,” the source added.

Before the start of the World Cup, ICC introduced a new rule asking the teams to sport home and away jerseys in the tournament.

images 1 BCCI chose the orange colour combination for India's away jersey, confirms ICC

The ICC rule reads: “For televised ICC events all participating teams will be required to provide for two different coloured kits, except for the host country who has preference in the choice of colour and may, if it chooses to do so, provide only one coloured kit to be worn in all matches throughout the event. In advance of the event, the teams will be notified which coloured kit will be worn in each match.”

India will take on the West Indies in their next match in Manchester on June 27.

South Africa who generally sports green jersey with yellow shade, wore the reverse. Which was dominated by yellow with patches of green in the team’s match against Bangladesh.

Afghanistan who generally sports blue jersey, wore a jersey with more areas of red added to their blue jersey.

Australia (yellow), New Zealand (black) and West Indies (maroon) already have unique jerseys. And are hence exempted from having ‘away’ kits.

The Men in Blue will next take on England on June 30.

Gianluigi Buffon is set to make a surprise return to Juventus

Gianluigi Buffon is heading back to his former club Juventus, where he played for 17 years.

Gianluigi Buffon joined Juventus from Parma for a then-world record fee of €52 million in 2001. He spent 17 years at Juventus. He has won nine Serie A titles, five Supercoppa Italiana titles and four Coppa Italia titles with Juventus, while he was a Champions League runner-up on three occasions. He had won seven Serie A in a row between 2012 and 2019, making 656 appearances for Juventus in total.

But last summer, Buffon made a shock move to PSG. In his 1 year at PSG he has won the Ligue 1 and Trophee des Champions. Two weeks ago, he has now revealed that after just one season at Paris Saint-Germain he was leaving for a new adventure.

There had been rumours that the veteran shot-stopper could potentially be going to Leeds or Porto. But Sky Sports Italia revealed that Buffon will return to the Old Lady to continue as a player.

Buffon

Buffon’s agent Silvano Martina told Sport Mediaset: “It would be nice if this eventuality materialised. It may be that the Bianconeri thought of him in case [Mattia] Perin left. He’s 41 years old, but he’s still looking good. He likes to play football, he still wants to make himself available and test himself. If such an opportunity arose, he’d certainly appreciate it.
It’d be nice if the deal went through, but the belly must grow before it gives birth to the baby.”

There were rumours that Buffon is holding out for wages that would put him on par with big-earning forward Cristiano Ronaldo. Martina rebuffed all the rumours by saying: “I’ve heard [reports] that Gigi will be the squad’s highest-paid player after Ronaldo. That’s nonsense.”

Buffon

Buffon’s deal will be for one season, but he will be expected to take on another role at the club when he retires. The transfer is likely to be completed once Juventus move on their current back-up Mattia Perin, who has interest from Roma and Sevilla. The veteran stopper held Juventus’ No. 1 jersey for the entirety of his first stint but would be expected to serve as understudy to Wojciech Szczesny after he makes the return.

Gianluigi Buffon is one of the best goalkeepers of world football. He has won every title on country and club level, just the Champions League trophy has eluded him ever since. With Cristiano Ronaldo in their team, it may be Buffon’s best chance to get his hands on the Champions League trophy with Juventus.

Two Barcelona superstars have sealed their move away to La Liga and Premier League clubs.

Barcelona’s Jasper Cillessen and Andre Gomes have officially left the club on 26th June, as they have sealed their move to La Liga club Valencia and Premier League club Everton respectively.

Former AFC Ajax star Jasper Cillessen joined Barcelona in 2016 for a fee of €13million. Since then, he had been the club’s backup choice as a goalkeeper, behind Marc-Andre Ter Stegen.

In the 2018-19 season, Cillessen made 11 appearances in total across various competitions but failed to impress as he conceded 13 goals, keeping only three clean sheets. Although he is only a secondary choice at Barca, he has been Netherlands starting goalkeeper for a few years now and recently led them all the way to the finals of the UEFA Nations League.

Meanwhile, Gomes, who is a former Valencia player, joined Barca in 2016 for a fee of €37million. But the Portuguese midfielder failed to live up to expectations despite playing two full seasons with the team. Last year, he was loaned to Everton for €2.25million and in the subsequent 2018-19 season, he scored one goal and made two assists in 29 appearances for the Premier League side.

Realme 3 Pro gets new updates: swipe gestures, 240fps slow-mo & more

Today Realme 3 Pro gets a big update that enhances the usability of this amazing smartphone. Not only did the company push the June 2019 security update but also added some new features.

So the update includes:

Android Security Patch

The latest update includes the latest Android Security Patch Level for June 5th, 2019. If you have any other Android device, more or less every smartphone got the update today.

Swipe Gestures

One of the coolest thing that I always wanted is one of the main highlights of this update. Swipe gestures make navigation much smoother and simpler.

Just swipe across the previously opened apps and reopen them with ease. It can take time to habituate for those who haven’t used it before.

Realme 3 Pro gets new updates: swipe gestures, 240fps slow-mo & more

Lock Screen Magazine

A usual functionality if you have used an Oppo/Vivo/Mi devices, but Realme adds this to the Realme 3 Pro with this update.

Honestly I do not find it useful and also it consumes data everyday, but people might find the things fancy and love to swipe through new wallpapers on their lock screen everyday.

Realme 3 Pro gets new updates: swipe gestures, 240fps slow-mo & more

Realme Account function

Another key feature of this update is the inclusion of realme account, now you need to make a Realme account that will contain all your personal data and you can sign in with it on any Realme device to get all your info synced.

Realme 3 Pro gets new updates: swipe gestures, 240fps slow-mo & more

App Store & Game Center

If you have used an Oppo device earlier you might be very familiar with this functionality. As the name suggests, the store contains a bunch of apps and games which you can download from or update your apps through it.

Needless thing if you an ardent Play Store fan and the app & game store cannot be removed as well.

Realme 3 Pro gets new updates: swipe gestures, 240fps slow-mo & more

Theme Store

If you are someone who likes to change the wallpaper of your smartphone quite frequently then this can become a handful for you. Realme 3 Pro did have only a few pre-built wallpapers to choose from and rest had to be manually downloaded using other apps or web.

With the inclusion of the theme store, which borrows quite a lot of similarity to Oppo’s theme store, you can browse from a bunch of wallpapers and choose the best one for your Realme 3 Pro.

Realme 3 Pro gets new updates: swipe gestures, 240fps slow-mo & more

240fps Slow Motion videos

Realme 3 Pro always boasted for its 960fps super slow motion capturing capability. I personally disliked the fact that you only get two options for recording i.e. 960fps and 120fps, nothing in between.

So, with this update Realme has finally fixed this and added the 240fps slow motion functionality for those who need an accurate slow-mo video but not as slow as 960fps.

Which feature did you like the most tell us in the comments below… 🙂

2019-20 will be David Silva’s final season at Manchester City

David Silva has confirmed that the next season will be his final season after a hugely successful 10-year career at Manchester City.

David Silva joined Manchester City from Valencia in 2010 for £25million and went on to establish himself as one of the best midfielders of the game. The 33-year old is considered to be one of the greatest players in Manchester City’s history. He has helped them to win four Premier League titles as well as a brace of FA Cups and four EFL Cups.

David Silva

Silva has confirmed that the 2019-20 season will be his last at Manchester City and he will not sign for another Premier League club once his City contract expires.

David Silva told reporters: “This is the last one. Ten years for me is enough. It’s the perfect time. Initially the club were talking about two years [contract] but I decided to sign another one so I finished at 10 years. It completes the cycle. It’s a nice round figure. I can never see myself playing against City for another team. So 10 years – that’s it!”

Manchester City completed a domestic clean sweep last season. They have successfully defended their Premier League title. But the Champions League title still eludes them. But Silva is not disappointed to have missed out on the Champions League. He said: “We haven’t been able to achieve that goal yet of winning the Champions League but if every year is like last season I would sign for it right now.”

David Silva

Silva further added: “When I was a kid, I never thought I would achieve everything I have done, so I’m more than happy with what I have achieved in my 10 years at City. The respect people have shown me and the way people in Manchester have treated me has been unbelievable. That’s what I really like, the recognition they have given me.
I’ve got a family now and it’s about priorities. I want to spend more time with the family. I’ve got another year at Manchester City so we will see what happens after that.”

David Silva has backed his teammate Phil Foden to replace him when he leaves Manchester City at the end of next season. He said about Foden: “He reminds me of myself when I was young.” Foden has made 38 appearances for City in the last two seasons and his performances have seen him earmarked as a star of the future.

Silva and Foden

Silva praised youngster Foden: “I’m sure he’s going to be a fantastic player. He’s a very nice man and he will be a good replacement for me. Apart from his natural skills, he’s a very competitive person. He always wants to win and that makes a very good footballer. When you’re young, you always ask people with experience. I’ve given him lots of advice, like how to move on the pitch. He’s taken the information in and he’s getting better day by day.
He reminds me of myself when I was young — especially how he is as a person. He’s very quiet but always there, competing. He hates losing. The best advice I can give him is always stay calm. Whatever happens in football, the highs and lows, always keep calm.”

Silva also revealed his plan of ending his career at his hometown club Las Palmas but for that move to happen, they will have to seal promotion to LaLiga. He said: “I would love to finish my career in Las Palmas but football changes. Who knows? It depends on the team and the players. I cannot come here [to Las Palmas] to play in the second division with this team.
But sometimes you need to give something, so I don’t know. I can never see myself playing against City for another team.
Not China. I don’t know. My girlfriend decides for me!”
