Jurgen Klopp has won The Best FIFA Men’s Coach award

Kloop has beaten off tough competition from Guardiola and Pochetino to win this coveted prize.

FIFA announced The Best Men’s Coach during the ceremony in Milan on Monday. Jurgen Klopp was adjudged as The Best FIFA Men’s Coach 2019 for his incredible last season.

Didier Deschamps won the award last year after France won the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Jurgen Klopp’s men defeated Tottenham in the Champions League to get their hands on the club’s 6th European trophy. Liverpool also gave a tough fight for the Premier League trophy. They just lost the Premier League to Manchester City by a point. In the process, they managed the second-highest points total in the competition history.

Jurgen Klopp also has a golden heart. He said at the ceremony that he will be joining the Common Goal charitable pledge that was launched with the support of Manchester United star Juan Mata. The movement encourages figures in the world of football to donate at least one percent of their salary to charity.

Jurgen Klopp said while receiving the award: “What can I say? I have to say thank you to a lot of people obviously. I have to start at the beginning with my family at home and probably watching it. It’s great, nobody would have expected that I stood here 20 years ago, 10 years ago, five years ago, four years ago probably and how close it can be.”

“Mauricio, we won that game, that’s why I’m here and not you, so that’s how football is but we all know what an incredible job you did, what an incredible job Pep did, what so many coaches out there did. But coming back to saying thank you, I have to say thank you to my club outstanding club Liverpool F.C. Who [ever] doesn’t love it has no heart.”

“To the owners, I have to say they gave me an incredible team and Mike Gordon in particular. And I have to thank my team because as a coach you only can be as good as your team and the potential of your team is one and what they make of it is the other.
So I’m really proud of being the manager of such an incredible bunch of players.”

FIFA have announced the FIFPro Men’s World XI at The Best Awards 2019 ceremony in Milan.

FIFA have finally announced the names of the 11 players from the 55 shortlisted names, who made up the World XI. But few of the names have created some surprise for the fans.

The players are chosen by votes from professionals all over the world. And they have chosen this XI.

But the biggest surprise of this World XI is that Real Madrid have the most no of players in the XI. 4 players – Sergio Ramos, Marcelo, Luka Modric and Eden Hazard (Although Eden Hazard only moved to the Spanish capital in the summer transfer window from Chelsea after winning the Europa League in his final game for the English club.)

Real Madrid had the most disappointing year. They finished third in LaLiga and were knocked out of the Champions League by Ajax. Meanwhile, Manchester City dominated the whole of England with a domestic treble. But, much to everyone’s surprise no player from Manchester City were selected in the World XI.

Messi and Rapinoe have won The Best Player at the FIFA Awards

Lionel Messi has beaten Virgil Van Dijk and Cristiano Ronaldo to win The Best Men’s Player, while Megan Rapinoe won The Best Women’s Player at the FIFA Awards.

Lionel Messi has been crowned as FIFA Men’s Player of the Year at their annual The Best awards ceremony in Milan on Monday. Virgil Van Dijk came second with Cristiano Ronaldo in the third position of the voting results.

It is the first time Messi has won FIFA’s flagship individual award since it split from the Ballon d’Or and rebranded in 2016. He last won a major individual award in 2015. This is his 6th major honour.

Cristiano Ronaldo won The Best Men’s Player award in 2016 and 2017. And then eventually Luka Modric broke the Ronaldo-Messi duopoly on the major individual awards when he won in 2018.

Megan Rapinoe has won the Women’s Player at the FIFA Awards after a phenomenal year. She won the Golden Boot and Golden Ball as she led the USA Women National Team to Women’s World Cup glory. She fought off close competition from Alex Morgan and Lucy Bronze to win the award.

Lionel Messi has won the LaLiga with Barcelona, scoring 36 goals in 34 matches. But Liverpool made a historic comeback in the Anfield to knock Barcelona out and win the Champions League finally. But Messi was the top scorer of the Champions League.

Liverpool’s’ Van Dijk who came second in the ranking, won the UEFA Men’s Player of the Year due to his major contribution in Liverpool getting their hands on the European trophy.

Messi told reporters: “It has been a long time without winning an individual prize. It is an award that I have for the first time and it is good to have it.”

Van Dijk told the reporters: “The people who vote made a decision and you have to accept it,” Van Dijk told reporters. That’s just the case and as players, you can’t compare me and Messi because it’s totally different. I’m very proud to be here.
Disappointed? You can’t be disappointed. I’m just very happy to be here, to be in the team of the year, after the hard work and the good work we put in last year. Today, I unfortunately, didn’t win but I’m not disappointed.”

Cristiano Ronaldo skipped the FIFA Awards as he fell behind Messi for the Men’s Players rankings. After the awards ceremony, he posted a philosophical message on Instagram: “Patience and persistence are two characteristics that differentiate the professional from the amateur. Everything that is big today has started small. You can’t do everything, but do everything you can to make your dreams come true. And keep in mind that after night always comes dawn.”

Author’s take

Lionel Messi is one of the best two of this generation. There’s no point denying that. But frankly enough, Messi was not at his prolific best. If he had so, Liverpool couldn’t have made that historic 4-0 comeback. He also didn’t win the Copa America with his national team.

On the other hand, Van Dijk was the PFA Player of the Year for his outstanding performance in the European League. He also helped Liverpool win their 6th European trophy. And in the international level, he took Netherlands to the UEFA Nations League final.

Cristiano Ronaldo did one better than Van Dijk in the international-level. He won the inaugural Nations League with his country Portugal and also won the Serie A with Juventus.

I’m not doubting Messi’s credibility. He is one of the best players of all time. But, maybe, someone else deserved this year’s award even more than him.

On the imaging front, the OnePlus 7T is said to be housing a triple rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel f/1.6 main shooter, an f/2.2 12-megapixel telephoto shooter, and a 16-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide camera. The main camera will also support optical image stabilization and electronic image stabilization. There is reportedly going to be a 16-megapixel f/2.0 selfie shooter onboard as well.

Microsoft is well known for its Surface products that focus on quality and productivity. There are a lot of Surface products to choose from including the Surface Pro, Surface Go, Surface Book and Surface Laptop. Microsoft is in works with these new products and improving them with new technologies.

In the upcoming at its annual show, Microsoft will be announcing their new products including the much-awaited Surface Laptop 3. We already reported of some leaked benchmarks featuring the Surface Laptop 3 with latest 10th Gen Ice Lake CPUs and now we have some new info.

Famous tipster and leaker Tum Apisak has mixed feelings regarding his latest leak, showing both joy and confusion regarding the fact that whether the new Surface products will feature Ryzen mobile APUs or not. We have been hearing this for quite some time now, even reliable tipster Roland Quandt believes the Surface Laptop 3 will have AMD CPU options this time.

AMD did launch their the 35 W Ryzen 5 3550H and Ryzen 7 3750H gaming processors earlier this year and we expect the Red team to launch the energy-efficient Ryzen 3000U APUs in the coming months. The Ryzen 3000 mobile APUs are based on Zen+ architecture i.e. on 12nm process which will bring noticeable improvements over the last-gen.

The Ryzen 5 3550U and the Ryzen 7 3750U are the ones that are being speculated to be used inside the Surface Laptops. This might be a tactical move by Microsoft to reduce the pricing, already we know that the 10th Gen CPUs would be even more costly so, using the Ryzen alternatives might be the perfect option to cut down prices and offer cheaper Surface Laptops to wider audience.

So both these APUs have a 15W TDP and it is speculated that the Ryzen 5 3550U will have with a base clock speed of 2.1GHz and a boost of 3.7GHz. Currently, we don’t know whether if the 13.5-inch variants will be powered by AMD APUs or if the 15-inch models will feature these APUs only.

For now, all we can say is that it will be interesting to see Microsoft and AMD collaborating on their new product lineup. All of the details regarding the Surface lineup will only be known on the day of launch which is scheduled on October 2nd.

This will be a tactical move to suppress the sales of the Core i5-9400F and 9500 budget CPUs by Intel which are insane value for money CPUs for gamers.

The Ryzen 5 3500 and the 3500X specifications have been leaked earlier this week by a Thai media outlet ExtremeIT. There’s even an entire video showcasing the Ryzen 5 3500X: from unboxing to gaming performance, check out the PC build from here.

The PC build comprises of the upcoming Ryzen 5 3500X along with MSI B450 motherboard which is paired with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX1660 and 16GB of DDR4 RAM. According to the site’s performance benchmarks our new CPU ranks higher than the Intel’s i5-8600 and lies just some points behind the Intel i5-8600K.

So the new Ryzen 5 3500X is 6 core & 6 threaded CPU like its brother and with 65W TDP. It has a base clock frequency of 3.6GHz and a healthy boost clock of 4.1 GHz with huge 32 MB of cache. The specs of Ryzen 5 3500 is quite the same but has a lesser cache of 16MB.

If you compare with the i5-9400 by Intel that has a base clock of 2.9GHz and only 9MB of cache, the Ryzen offering is much better, even the i5-9600 has a lower base clock of 3.1GHz. The Intel Core i5-9400F is one of the most selling budget gaming CPU that costs around $140 to $150.

Leaks suggest that that the Ryzen 5 3500X will cost around $150 while the Ryzen 5 3500 will cost around $137 which is pretty cheap and considering the performance its a value for money CPU.

When the gaming performance of the Ryzen 5 3500X is compared with Intel Core i5-9400F, the Ryzen counterpart performs neck-to-neck with the Intel star. Surprisingly in CS: GO the Ryzen CPU performs considerably well and certainly the AMD one is lot more efficient and future-proof.

With better support memory support (DDR4 3200), PCIe 4.0 support and overclocking support you can always maximise the performance of your Ryzen CPU. So, eventually with Ryzen 5 3500 and Ryzen 5 3500X, AMD again will have enough options for its massive fanbase who need the 7nm CPU benefit.

The in-transition Real Madrid side showed great intensity and hard work to win away from home against Sevilla.

Real Madrid were humiliated by PSG in their Champions League opener. Neymar, Cavani and Mbappe were all out of the PSG squad due to injury and suspension. But Di Maria made sure his current side would win comfortably against his former side.

Much to everyone’s surprise, this depleted Real Madrid side have produced a brilliant all-round display against Sevilla away from home. They were pressing high up the pitch and their intensity were also unmatched. It was as if this Real Madrid side were reborn.

Real Madrid has now moved onto 11 points – level with LaLiga leaders Athletic Bilbao. Thibaut Courtois has also kept his first clean sheet of the campaign. The Real Madrid defence was so disciplined that he didn’t had to make any good save. Sevilla failed to register a shot on target across the full 90 minutes.

Meanwhile, Sevilla goalkeeper Tomas Vaclik made some good saves to deny Hazard the first goal of his Real Madrid career. He also produced a fine save against Carvajal.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane told Movistar after the match: “Yes, it is the game that leaves me the most satisfied since I came back. They have all helped each other on the field. The main highlight of the match was the unity, discipline, hard work and intensity of this Real Madrid side which they were lacking in their previous matches. Barcelona have made their worst LaLiga start in 25 years

Barcelona lost 0-2 to Granada which sealed their worst start to LaLiga since 1994-95 season.

Granada shocked the defending LaLiga champions by beating them 2-0. An opening minute penalty followed by a second-half goal was enough to beat this under-performing Barcelona side.

Barcelona are still looking for their first away win in LaLiga 2019-20. They have taken only a single point from their three away games this season, failing to win any of their previous seven matches in all competitions.

The last time they made such a poor start to a league campaign was in the 1994-95 season. It was towards the end of the Dream Team era under their legendary coach Johan Cruyff. Barcelona finished fourth that season and lost to Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-finals in Champions League.

Lionel Messi’s injury has created a huge dent in this Barcelona side. Messi-less Barcelona is like any other ordinary team. If Messi and Ousmane Dembele would not have been injured, Carles Perez would surely be nowhere near the Barcelona squad. The squad depth at Barcelona is terrible.
