Barcelona rejected a €65m bid for Sergi Roberto last summer

Last season, the Blaugranas turned down a move for its right-back Sergi Roberto during the summer transfer window. They rejected the sale despite receiving plenty of interesting offers.

The 28-year-old Spaniard was considered to be a key part of the squad at that time which is why they rejected any offers but the scenario now has changed, according to Marca.

This time, Barcelona is listening to all offers regarding the Spaniard although interestingly the report says that the board haven’t actually told Roberto about a move.

Sport reported earlier that he might be used as part of the Lautaro Martinez deal and the Seria A giants Juventus is also interested over Roberto. Being such an old member at the club it’s still unclear if the Barcelona wants to sell him this summer.

He’s one of the club’s four captains and he is at the club since he arrived at La Masia as a 14-year-old and currently he is contracted to the club until June 2022.

The Lenovo IdeaPad 5 features a 15.6-inch 1080p IPS, anti-glare display with multi-touch support and 300 nits of brightness. The IdeaPad 5 laptop has an incredible 90% active area ratio.

The 28-year old Brazilian has always regretted the fact of his transfer to PSG and he still wants to go back to Barcelona. He arrived at the Spanish giant from Santos back in 2013 and made 123 appearances in which he scored 68 times during his four-year career at the Camp Nou.

Neymar talked about his former teammate Lionel Messi who is now the skipper of the Barca team. He acknowledged the fact that Messi was there to support him at an important point in his life.

“Honestly, it’s difficult, very difficult for me to talk about Messi, because it was very special for me at Barcelona, I say this to everybody,” he told Rede Globo’s Esporte Espetacular.

“At the moment when I needed the most support, the best player in the world arrived and gave me a hand. He said: ‘Come here, I’m here to help you.'”

According to Brazilian, the six-time Ballon d’Or winner also advised him not to be “shy” and that he suggested to not to be afraid of “anyone at the club.”

Last year Neymar was on the verge of joining Barca but the deal couldn’t complete at the end moment, this year too Barca president Bartemeu will try to bring him back at the Camp Nou but the financial situation at the club due to the pandemic puts the deal into question.

Eden Hazard joined Chelsea in 2012 from Lille. The switch to the Premier League helped Hazard to become one of the best players. He has won two Premier League trophies with Chelsea before leaving Stamford Bridge in 2019 to join Real Madrid.

Hazard has now revealed that he wasn’t sure whether he wanted to join Chelsea. There was doubt surrounding his next club in 2012. Manchester City and Manchester United were also interested in the Lille forward.

It was Didier Drogba who convinced Hazard to join Chelsea in 2012. Hazard told: “Suddenly Gervinho’s phone rang in our the dressing room. It was Drogba on the line. He insisted on passing the phone to me, ‘I need to talk to him’.”

“Drogba said to me, ‘You have to come to Chelsea’. At that moment I was still in doubt. Chelsea were not doing that well in the Premier League. They wouldn’t play Champions League the following year.”

Chelsea stunned the football world by winning the Champions League in 2012. They beat Bayern Munich on penalties in the final. That win in the final gave Chelsea the pass to play in the Champions League next season.

Hazard tweeted after Chelsea’s Champions League win: “I’m signing for the Champions League winner.”

He added: “[But] After that [Champions League] final, the choice was made quickly. I knew I would easily adapt. London, close to home, not far from Lille. De Bruyne had just signed, Romelu was around.”

“There were enough French speakers. I knew I would play enough. I was only sad that he, Drogba, decided to leave. Luckily he came back for one season.”

Since joining Chelsea, Hazard’s career has gone off to a flyer. He hasn’t looked back. He spent seven very successful seasons at Chelsea. Along with two Premier League titles, he also won two Europa League trophies.

Hazard has now joined Real Madrid in a bid to become the best player in the world. He would hope to win the Champions League and finally win the Ballon d’Or one day to get the deserved recognition for his talent.

When the world is still busy implementing Wi-Fi 6 globally, only handful of devices do support this feature. Few expensive routers and costlier devices do come included with this feature. In the meantime, WiFi 7 is already on the road.

If the 9.6Gbps maximum speed for WiFi 6 was amazing enough for you then you’ve got no idea how much speed this new generation of Wi-Fi can deliver. It has been reported that the theoretical maximum transmission rate of WiFi 7 can reach 30Gbps!

When compared with WiFi 5 (802.11 ac) wireless transmission protocol, the WiFi 6 (802.11 ax) is about 40% faster and also consumes less power. The WiFi 6 protocol can connect to more devices at the same time using the the latest WP3 security protocol which is very difficult for hackers to crack.

We updated you about Facebook’s investment on Reliance earlier. The result reflects so quick. Reliance’s e-commerce venture JioMart is now live through WhatsApp. Though the service is only available in Mumbai’s Kalyan, Thane, and Navi Mumbai area.

Residents of the mentioned areas need to use the WhatsApp number of JioMart, which is 8850008000. JioMart will send a link to the customer’s chat window. It will take the customer to a customer-details page containing the address, phone number, etc. The link will valid for only 30 minutes. After filling the details form an available product catalog will appear.

When a customer finalizes the order, the details will send to his local Kirana store, and that also via WhatsApp. The buyer will get two notifications. The first one, the details of his/her nearest Kirana store and the order details. The second one when the order will be ready to pick up.

For now, only cash payment mode is available and the customer needs to pick up the order from the nearest Kirana store.

Reliance is following an O2O model(online-to-offline). According to this model a consumer searches services or needs online, but buys offline. This model is broadly used by Alibaba, the Chinese e-commerce giant.

Lenovo Legion 5 with AMD Ryzen 4000-H and RTX 2060 spotted

New Lenovo Legions laptops are coming tipped to be the 5 series but interestingly there are references to the Legion 5 and 5i on the Lenovo PSREF site as well. According to Notebookcheck, there are three models listed on PSREF including the Lenovo Legion 5 15IMH05, 15IMH05H, and 15ARH05.

On the other hand, the Lenovo BIOS simulator also shows the presence of a 15ARH05H model, but that listed in PSREF. Although both the Legion 5 15IMH05 and 15IMH05H models looks identical expect for some minor differences.

Both of these models are powered by the latest Intel Comet Lake-H gaming CPUs including the Core i5-10300H, Core i7-10750H, and the Core i7-10875H. The difference lies in terms of the GPUs theses two laptops providing you with.

The Legion 5 15IMH05 is equipped the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 and GTX 1650 Ti options, whereas, the 15IMH05H offers you to choose between the GTX 1660 Ti and the RTX 2060. The RTX 2060 seems to be the highest GPU offering by Lenovo.

In terms of display, the 15IMH05 offers some choices including entry-level FHD 250-nit 120 Hz IPS panel with a 45% NTSC, a 144 Hz 300 nits display and a 240 Hz 500 nits Dolby Vision display. On the other hand, the 15IMH05H does not offer the entry-level display but the other choices are constant. According to the spec sheet, the 15IMH05H shreds off the 720p webcam.

On the AMD front, the Lenovo Legion 5 15ARH05 features the AMD Ryzen 5 4600H and Ryzen 7 4800H CPU options whereas there sre GPU options between the GTX 1650 and the GTX 1650 Ti. Rest most the specs are similar to the Comet Lake-H-powered Legion 5 SKUs.

Only in the display, the AMD ones feature a FHD 144 Hz 300 nits Dolby Vision with no 240 Hz option at all. On the other hand, the PSREF does not have any sign of a15ARH05H SKU but we an it is seen in the Lenovo BIOS simulator tool as well as in the Japanese download page for the Dolby Vision Provisioning Utility.

This could mean that Lenovo might be hiding the offering that might feature an RTX 2060 GPU with AMD Renoir processor options.

Also it’s being noted in MobileMark 2018 battery life, the Legion 5 15IMH05 and 15IMH05H powered by Comet Lake-H processors last up to 7.7 hrs for a 80 Wh battery whereas, the 15IMH05H also powered by Comet Lake-H processors last up to 7.7 hrs for the 80 Wh battery and 6.8 hrs for the 60 Wh variant.

On the AMD front, the Legion 5 15ARH05 powered by Ryzen 4000-H processors have a longer battery life, the MobileMark result says the laptop can last up to 13.5 hrs for the 80 Wh cell and 12.5 hrs for the 60 Wh option. This is incredible and expected from a 7 nm CPU actually.

From the beginning of 2020, the reports of ads in WhatsApp is surfacing frequently. As per the news, the ads were going to add to the user’s conversation. Later Wall Street Journal reported WhatsApp authority canceled their plan and delete the part from App code.

The latest update says Facebook will work to link all its platforms. After linking they will use your Facebook data to serve targeted ads in WhatsApp, and these ads will be added to the WhatsApp Stories.

WhatsApp could allow you to run on multiple devices with the same account

A Facebook spokesperson told to TechRader, “As we’ve said before, ads in Status remains a long-term opportunity for WhatsApp, and we believe it will be a great way for people to discover a business that is important to them in future. That hasn’t changed. But right now our focus is on building new features to help businesses connect with their customers and providing payments in a number of countries.”

All together, we will get ads in WhatsApp later for sure. But when is the main question.

Manchester United was one of the greatest European teams under Sir Alex Ferguson. Domestically, United was no match for the other clubs. It was expected that they would win the Premier League every season.

After Ferguson retired, United’s graph has gone down drastically. They have even missed out on Champions League spots. Recently under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, United are seeming to look like their old self.

Solakjaer has chosen his transfer targets very carefully without going after big names. He has signed those players who fit into in his game plan. The signings of Daniel James, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire and Bruno Fernandes have all proved to be positive for the team.

United have been linked with a possible move for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho and Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane recently.

Former Manchester United player Rafael, who won three Premier League trophies with United has warned his former club not to sign those players who come only for the money.

Rafael, currently playing for Lyon told ESPN: “It has taken too long to get back on track. It’s been seven years [without the title]. We did some things wrong. We started signing expensive players and giving them a lot of money. I don’t agree with that. Just because a player costs 150million does not mean he’s good for the team. It depends on the character of the player.”

“They should go for the players who want to play for Manchester United, not just because Manchester United are going to pay you. Look at Chicharito [Javier Hernandez]. How hard did he play for Manchester United? He wanted to play. How much did Manchester United pay for him? Not much. You have to be clever. You have to see that the player wants to play for Manchester United.”

He further added: “Harry Kane is a great goalscorer and Jadon Sancho is very, very good. But first of all, you have to see the character of the player and see if they really want to do well for United, not just coming for the money. We have made some mistakes, but I hope now that we can get back on track. In this Manchester United, I see more of how they played before and I think soon we will be back where we belong.”

“I love Ole. I love the person he is and the manager he is. Of course, there is a lot still to do but I think he’s doing it the right way. He’s a person who loves Manchester United and he’s going to do everything to help the club. I saw it when I was with him when he coached me and it is important.”

“He’s a guy who is going to think about Manchester United first rather than himself. A lot of coaches are never going to do that, they are going to think about them and after about the club.”

Bayern Munich has dominated the Bundesliga in recent times. They have won the league title in each of the last 7 seasons. They are almost no match in Germany.

This season too, Bayern were soaring clear domestically before the Bundesliga was paused in March. They will hope to wrap up their 30th German league title if the season resumes.

But the one thing which is missing from the Bayern Munich trophy closet is the Champions League trophy. They have last won the Champions League in 2013. More surprisingly they haven’t come close to winning the trophy in recent times.

Bayern Munich has now stepped up their approach to strengthen the squad under newly appointed permanent coach Hansi Flick in a bid to win the Champions League.

Sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic told the Welt am Sonntag newspaper: “We want to strengthen ourselves with a top talent from Europe and also bring an international star to Munich, who enhances the quality of our team and helps the team to offer our spectators strong and attractive football. I and all of us here want to win the Champions League – without becoming economically unreasonable.”

RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner and Manchester City winger Leroy Sane are among the players to have been linked with possible moves to Bayern at the end of the 2019-20 season. But the coronavirus pandemic has dealt a financial blow to all the clubs. So it’s not sure whether Bayern can afford two signings at once without selling one of their stars.
