The 2019-20 Ligue 1 season has to be ended abruptly due to the Coronavirus pandemic. All sporting events in France will not resume at least until September. So the Ligue 1 has been ended and Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) confirmed that the final standings will be decided on a points-per-game basis.
PSG have been crowned as the 2019-20 Ligue 1 champions. Thomas Tuchel’s side were 12 points clear at the top of the table with a game in hand when the season was suspended in March due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
PSG chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi has dedicated this title to the health workers who are working on the frontline.
He said: “We would like to dedicate this 2019-2020 Ligue 1 title to healthcare staff and to all the everyday heroes on the frontline whose commitment and self-sacrifice over many weeks have earned our deepest admiration.”
“We understand, respect and support the decisions taken by the French government to end the championship. Health, as the government has always said, must be everyone’s priority.”
“I would like to thank the players, the coach, the technical and medical staff as well as all the club’s employees for their tremendous work. This trophy is a reward for their hard work every day.”
“In these difficult times, I hope that this trophy will bring a little happiness and hope to all our supporters, and I am grateful to them for their unwavering support which helps drive Paris Saint-Germain forward.”
“I would also like to also thank all our partners for their loyalty throughout, and I look forward to being able to celebrate this title with all the PSG family when the conditions allow.”

The Xbox Series X is getting more and more popular these days as every gamer is eagerly waiting for the next-generation consoles in 2020. But until now all we have been informed is of the hardware, promotional info and few leaks, we haven’t actually seen the “real-time performance” of the console, it seems you do not have to wait long.
According to Microsoft’s tweet, the Xbox Series X will be set to act on the May 7th, 8 AM PT. Also, Microsoft has said that this will be centred around third party titles, not from its own Xbox Game Studios. Now, if Ubisoft Spain’s tweet is to be believed, then possibly the upcoming Assasins Creed: Valhalla could be seen in action on this new console.
An official trailer and gameplay is one of the most fundamental launches for any game, so it makes sense if its done through the most anticipated next-gen console. However, one thing will be interesting to notice if this happens is that how the game utilizes the powerful hardware that is being touted by Microsoft, will real-time ray tracing work? Can we get 4K gaming at 60 FPS?
Generally this type of gaming announcements happen in E3 but as this pandemic has affected every launch so hosting a separate event for mutual benefit seems the most viable option for both Microsoft and Ubisoft.
TikTok, the most famous short video making app, crossed 1 Billion downloads for Android last month. Now, within a very short time, it also completes all over two billion times download count. The Sensor Tower Store Intelligence estimates this fact.
In the present pandemic, all locked down people become hungry for entertainment. As they can’t go outside, the internet is the best place to find the resource. And a huge percentage goes with TikTik along with other apps. More than 315 million installation form all kinds of popular App Stores is the result. This generated number makes TikTok the most downloaded app ever in a quarter.
Stat by: Tower Store Intelligence
Behind this success, the major contribution is of Indians. Around 30.3% of total downloads which is 611 million is done by only them. Next comes China, at number 2 with around 196.6 million downloads, 9.7% of the total. The third maximum downloads are done from the United States. The stat says the US residents downloaded the app around 165 million times i.e 8.2%.
The report mention above doesn’t include downloads from any third-party app store. If that number will include, TikTok may reach another milestone.
In the case of spending on the app, China leads. Chinese users spend around $331 million and it is near about 72.2% of the entire revenue. The next two spenders are the users from the US and Great Britain respectively. In order, they poured around $86.5 million and $9 million.
This rapid improvement and popularity of TikTok throw a challenge towards similar short video making platforms, Firework for example.
A few days ago we came across a leaked shared by @MaxJmb commonly known as Max J., a well-known leakster who claimed that the new OnePlus 8Z will have a punch-hole camera at the top middle of the display. That is for the first time we got an idea of how the phone will look like. Later on, a few other sources tipped some of its specs.
Recently another source revealed the leaked image of OnePlus 8Z and now Max has also revealed another interesting feature. The 8Z was previously rumored to come with MediaTek chipset but Max confirmed that the phone may come with Snapdragon 765 SoC with 5G connectivity.
The phone is rumored to launch with the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro in the same launch event, but it got delayed due to COVID-19. The will now launch within a few months or maybe a few weeks. The design of the phone is made different from OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro. The punch hole placement in both the later devices is at the top left corner but here we can see the punch-hole is placed at the top center of the phone.
The OnePlus 8Z is the lite version of the OnePlus 8 series and will also be liter in the price segment. Until now nothing is official and we have not seen any kind of official announcement claiming the launch of this device, but the device is in development and will launch soon. So we have to wait until any further news surfaces.
Gary Neville used to share the dressing room with Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United. According to the former Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo is targeting Pele’s goalscoring record.
Neville thinks that Ronaldo, who currently plays for Juventus, his drive is ‘out of the world’. He has also talked about their time together at United.
Gary Neville told to Sky Sports: “Sir Alex Ferguson and Carlos Queiroz, I think it’s important to put Carlos Queiroz in the category with Sir Alex, they were both champions of him, they both believed in him.”
“I think that Ronaldo came back from the World Cup that summer it was like everything had changed. His maturity and his decision-making, which was a big thing, his experience, his physical attributes had completely changed overnight. He went from someone who, if you look at his early pictures at Manchester United, he was scrawny, really thin, wiry, didn’t look very strong.”
“All of a sudden, I think it was after that 2006 World Cup, he came back like a super-middleweight boxer. His body had just completely transformed, he was absolutely incredible. From a strength point of view and a plyometric point of view, the ability to leap, the ability to score with his head, the ability to change direction, everything seems to fall into place. It was just maturity, physically, mentally, everything happened to him.”
“It was brilliant to watch, there was a point I remember going into the gym after one training session and speaking to Mike Clegg [United’s strength and conditioning coach] who worked very hard with Cristiano physically in the gym and saying to him, ‘I don’t know what he’s going to do next’.”
“You didn’t know where he was going to be defensive, you didn’t know when he was going to release the ball, players in the middle of the box didn’t know when he was going to cross it. It was just erratic. But they had great faith in him, Sir Alex Ferguson and Carlos Queiroz, and they believed in him, put him forward in front of players who had greater reputations at the time and he developed into something brilliant.”
“His drive was out of this world to become the best in the world. He’s one of the very few players that I’ve played with that would publicly announce that the individual trophies were important to him. He just wanted to be the very, very best in the world and it’s so important to him.”
“It’s an obsession. Absolute obsession with scoring goals. Applying himself every single day, being the fittest he can possibly be. I think he’s lifted his professionalism every single year and progressed.”
“Jamie [Carragher] mentioned before about James Milner wanting to play into his late 30s and 40s. I think he [Ronaldo] has a plan to go on and take over Pele’s record. I genuinely believe he wants to go on and beat Pele’s numbers.”
“That’s where I think he’s at in his mind, he wants to be the greatest of all time, that is his sole purpose, understanding that along the way if he is the greatest of all time, the teams that he plays for will win trophies and be successful.”

Double Chance Bets, just as the name suggests, means that you are wagering on two possibilities, which can be almost to have a sure bet. It means you acknowledge the opponent team can put up a spirited fight and manage a draw, but you still want your team to win. It is the best odd as it spreads risk.

POCOFONE F1 was one of the best phones at its time with the leading chipset and competitive price range. The successor of the F1 is around the corner and might unveil in the upcoming months or maybe a few weeks.
The global twitter handle of the company is recently active and tweeting about #WakeUpPOCO. This can indicate the launch of the new successor of the POCO F1. The company can launch a whole new series of the POCO F2.
A specific report claims that the POCO smartphone will be limited to 4G LTE connectivity. So until now, any kind of high hopes may not go along with this smartphone. The image is extracted from the TKDN certification in Indonesia, which mentions the code name of the smartphone and the connectivity status of the smartphone.
The smartphone is codenamed as M2004J11G which matches the previous POCO F1 and from this, it is clear that the new smartphone will be another POCO device that will feature 4G LTE connectivity.
This can also happen that the smartphone will feature 4G connectivity in some specific markets due to demands and may feature 5G connectivity in the rest of the markets. The 4G connectivity can also indicate the lower price range of the smartphone that will be featured in the vanilla version and the Pro version may normally feature 5G connectivity.
We came across this image from a well-known leakster @Sudhanshu1414 commonly known as Sudhanshu Ambhore. The leakster also revealed the European pricing of the POCO F2 Pro that goes as – 6GB + 128GB variant for €649 and the 8GB + 256GB variant for €749.
This pricing also suggests that the phone is going to be expensive as it nearly starts from $718. However, this pricing is still not the final listing and it can change and will definitely vary for different countries.
Reports suggest HTC is still alive and is working on HTC Desire 20 Pro. Famous leakster @evleaks has shared the schematic of the phone and it looks quite promising. The phone is codenamed as “Bayamo”. The phone will follow the recent trend and will have a punch-hole design during the final launch.
The phone has a simple design with a punch-hole camera at the front and quad-camera setup at back. If the patent schematic is correct then the phone will come with a flat-screen display unlike the curved screen trend nowadays.
According to reports and Geekbench the phone will feature Snapdragon 660 (or 665), which was connected to 6GB of RAM and will support Android 10. Though it is still not final which chipset will be used in the device, as the reports suggest the chipset is not up to the mark for a current generation smartphone especially in a Pro model.
The phone can also feature a fingerprint scanner at the back of the device. From the image the power button and the volume rockers are visible on the right side of the device. The final design of the smartphone can be different.
Intel is losing its control over the desktop CPU market for over a year now and that includes a lot of reasons. With specific to the newly launched 10th Gen Comet Lake-S desktop CPUs, I would discuss the bitter truths of the blue team’s platform off lately.
Some of its pros remain as Intel has been the champion in making CPUs for ages now but with technological advancements it has lost some of its grounds to its arch rival AMD.
I will not directly do a face off between the two but lay some general reasons why Intel is making things harder for general users to prefer its CPUs:
via The Verge
It’s 2020, still the same old 14 nm archiecture?
One of the biggest frustrations with Intel you might have is it’s still using the age-old 14 nm process when the whole industry is shifting to 10 nm or 7 nm process, even 5 nm process will make its way next year if everything goes fine.
In this scenario, Intel is still clinging on to its old tech and just using its ‘tic-toe’ scheme to making newer generations of CPUs. Obviously using an older node will not increase efficiency or power draw and will bring no “significant” performance uplift.
Also older architectures increases power consumption, gives rise to many security flaws, AMD jumped off in 2017 with 14 nm and shifted its gear to newer nodes every year. The switch to 7 nm changed its fortune overnight and the industry is widely adapting its tech, its revolutionary Zen 2 architecture is making the sole difference.
Intel is missing on this front, they are not doing anything “revolutionary”, fans gave choices these days to switch between so people understand what’s trending and what’s not. Even mobile SoCs are adapting to lower process nodes to achieve better results.
Another generation, another new socket
The biggest flaw Intel is forcing to its users is adapting to newer sockets with every generation of motherboards. This increase costs to upgrade your CPU with each generation which Intel does never understand, this year too they’ve announced the new LGA 1200 socket.
All of the new 10th Generation Intel chips require new motherboards like the Z490 for high-end, B460 for mainstream, and H410 for budget users. The costlier Z490 boards will launch first with the cheaper motherboards to follow soon.
So if you want to upgrade your Core i7-9700K powered PC to achieve an average performance boost of around 15% by getting hold of the Core i7-10700K, you have to spend half of the cost of upgrading your machine to get some more frames per second.
I am not saying bringing newer tech is bad but keeping cross-compatibility with the previous generation of motherboards help users to easily upgrade its CPUs later, people cannot just make new PC builds every year? People are not billionaires Intel, think logically.
Why the focus remains only on gaming?
Intel has been pushing its limits on single-core frequency just to improve its gaming performance. But until now they were putting limits to their cores and threads and as we know most of the creative applications use more cores and threads, professional workloads require high performance CPUs.
Here’s where AMD’s cheaper solutions with more cores and threads are making the difference, games only use max four cores at a time whereas professional works like video encoding, rendering, editing, developing complex applications and games require more horsepower.
I genuinely appreciate Intel’s approach of adding more cores and threads but in this case AMD’s beefier chips like Ryzen 9 3900X or Ryzen 9 3950X with huge amount of compute performance give extra benefits to users who require it. Until now, no one could have think get so much horsepower all at once but yes they can do on desktop these days.
AMD’s Threadripper CPUs perform even better for humoungous workloads at suitable price points. Even though Intel claims to provide better professional performance this time, but still AMD’s extra cores and threads along with efficient 7 nm process and PCIe Gen 4 advantage will tempt users to opt for the Red team.
Pricing still favours AMD
Intel’s pricing of the new 10th Gen Comet Lake-S desktop CPUs are just but its motherboard and cooler disadvantages make things even worse. AMD’s commitment to AM4 socket is driving more and more users to them with no hassle during the upgrade and Intel should think likewise.
The blue team might say they’ve reduced the price significantly, like the Core i9-9900K successor, the Core i9-10900K is $11 less than the predecessor with 2 more cores and threads. Intel is going head-to-head with AMD after a year with similar price points but the downside is the AMD Ryzen 3000 prices will decrease even more.
AMD’s new Ryzen 3 3100 and 3300X are just superb for the entry-level enthusiasts so in coming days the cheaper B550 motherboards will arrive and so will the Zen 3 based Ryzen 4000 desktop processors at Q4 of this year most likely.
So even if Intel has a few months, where people are struggling in lockdown across the globe, to be happy soon AMD will bounce back.
