Sony WF-SP800N TWS earbuds launched at $199

Sony is very much well known to us for its quality electronic products. In the case of sound quality, very fewer brands are there to compete with Sony audio devices. If you are also a Sony Audio fan like me, then here is good news for you. Sony launches its new TWS headset called WF-SP800N. Have a look at its specs.

🔋 Battery

As per Sony, they build this product for “active lifestyle” usage. To fulfill the purpose first need long battery life. WF-SP800N offers up to 9 hours of battery backup for a single charge, which is enough. And if you add the charging case with it, the runtime increases by 9 hours again. If you have less time in your hand, let you know 10 minutes of charge can boost this device for 60 minutes.

Next comes the outside noise handling. Sony offers 20 levels of Active Noise Cancellation(ANC) with this headset so that you can enjoy your music or take calls anywhere. Its adaptive sound control adjusts ambient sound settings to provide you a better experience. You can also adjust it manually from its app. A little fact for you, if you turn off the ANC the battery life goes around 13 hours long without charging case, and with the case, it goes total 26 hours long.

👌🏽 Others

Apart from good battery life and noise optimization the usability and build quality also matter. To make this device handy, the touch-control feature is there. You can control all the activities i.e. calls, music, ANC, and all through it. The special design allows it to stick into your ears, no matter how much you move. Besides, it also has the IP55 rating. That means your device will stay safe from water and dust. To make your day a bit easier, you can also communicate with your voice assistant through it. No matter which assistant you have, either Google Assistant, Alexa, or Siri.

Google to rebrand Android TV as Google TV

Google has taken every sector in technology we could ever think of, its Android OS is used in almost billions of devices and is rapidly adapted to modern generation Smart TVs. The Android TV OS has been there for quite sometime now and with days its user count is keeping on increasing.

According to 9to5Google, soon the Android TV OS may be rebranded as Google TV and that is a rumor which cannot be taken lightly because of Google’s past records. The Mountain View giant has rebranded a lot of its previous products from “Android” tag to the “Google” brand to expand their ecosystem.

Products like Android Market was changed to Google Play Store, Android Messages was converted to Messages by Google, Android Wear OS to Wear OS and Android Pay rebranded to Google Pay.

Google to rebrand Android TV as Google TV

This is mostly because people have a clearer brand image when the name “Google” is included and so to reach more audience by building trust among the users is the main target of the company. It seems the company is shedding their previous naming pattern that includes Android XYZ, Made by Google to Google XYZ.

Another report too suggests Google’s plan to be true and they are making this move, even though there might not be a major difference in the OS. Also, it might be possible that the next version of Android TV might be rebranded, as we saw Google ditching its old naming pattern for Android 11.

New products like Stadia is known as Google Stadia, also they are rebranding some like Hangouts to Google Meet, keeping the “Google” branding. Initially, it was launched as Google TV as the first smart TV platform by the company and was then rebranded to Android TV and in 2020 we might see Google TV branding back again.

What are your thoughts? Lets us know in the comments below…

Serie A clubs will start team training from May 18

0

Serie A clubs of Italy will be allowed to start team training from May 18, the government said on Monday in a boost for plans to resume the season.

Italy’s minister for sport Vincenzo Spadafora has given the green light for Serie A clubs to resume group training sessions from Monday, May 18.

i Serie A clubs will start team training from May 18

The government said its technical-scientific committee had conducted a close examination of the protocol which the Italian football federation (FIGC) plans to implement to ensure training can be conducted safely.

The clubs were allowed to resume training last Monday but only on an individual basis and respecting social distancing rules.

Footballers returned to individual training on May 4, but now another step is set to be taken.

“The committee’s indications, which are to be considered stringent and binding, will be sent to the FIGC for the necessary adjustments to the protocol so as to allow the safe resumption of team training from 18 May,” said a joint statement issued by Spadafora and health minister Roberto Speranza on Monday.

Serie A was suspended 2 months ago, since March 9 and the government has yet to decide if it will allow the season to be completed.

Meanwhile, a Belarusian Premier League match – as well as a game in the country’s second-tier division – have been postponed due to suspected COVID-19 cases, the domestic football federation said on Monday.

Belarus was the only country in Europe playing football amid the pandemic.

The federation said that the top-flight game between FC Minsk and Neman Grodno, scheduled to take place on May 15, has been called off due to suspected COVID-19 cases among the home team’s players.

There are almost 24,000 confirmed coronavirus cases in Belarus, with more than 130 deaths.

New dates for the games were not announced.

AMD Ryzen 7 4800U spotted running on a Lenovo Yoga Slim 7, beats Core i7-10750H in Geekbench

0

With days, newer AMD Ryzen 4000 powered laptops are popping up on Geekbench but the availability is poor maybe because of the COVID-19 and AMD’s 7nm mobile APU shortage. Still we got hold of the upcoming Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 that is seen to house the new AMD Ryzen 7 4800U.

The APU is the best mobile APU of AMD with 8 cores and 16 threads with 1.8 GHz base clock speed and up to to 4.2 GHz boost clock speed. The Zen 2 microarcitecture helps the APU to give incredible performance even having low TDP of 15 W.

On the graphics front, the APU features a Radeon RX Vega 8 integrated graphics with 8 CUs, running at up to 1750 MHz. So, indeed this CPU is a beast both on the CPU and GPU front. The AMD Ryzen 7 4800U is 4% faster in Cinebench R20 single-core test than the 10 nm based Intel Core i7-1065G7 and 90 % faster in the multithreaded benchmarks.

The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 will indeed be a slim portable laptop and running such powerful APU is a great deal as users can expect tremendous power out of it even though having a low-profile. Spotted by @_rogame, the APU scores 4919 points in single-core and 27166 points in multi-core tests of Geekbench 4.4.

comparison AMD Ryzen 7 4800U spotted running on a Lenovo Yoga Slim 7, beats Core i7-10750H in Geekbench

Now, @_rogame has also compared the 15 W Ryzen 7 4800U against the 45 W Core i7-10750H which is latest gaming-centric mobile CPU by Intel. The Intel counterpart has a multi-core score of 26,932 points at higher TDP, comparing the single-core frequency won’t be a justified option.

The multithreaded score of Ryzen 7 4800U even surpasses the likes of Ryzen 7 2700X which is a 105 W desktop CPU. Now, if combined with the strong graphical performance which we can easily expect from the improved 7 nm process, this APU is ready to set some new standards in the laptop market.

The new Intel Core i9-10900K reaches 3,000 points in Cinebench R15 at 5.4 GHz

0

Intel has launched its new Comet Lake-S desktop CPUs last month and is hardly reached the market but it is enough to see new benchmark scores and records with these CPUs. Intel has stressed a lot with the high single-core frequency and amount these CPUs can be pushed with proper cooling.

The top-of-line Core i9-10900K is the best Intel offering for desktop and it seems it’s already started to get overclocked to 5.4 GHz. Spotted by originally on Baidu and reposted by @momomo_US, the CPU is seen running on an ASRock Phantom Gaming 4/AX motherboard coupled with 16 GB of dual-channel G.Skill DDR4-3200 RAM.

The new Intel Core i9-10900K reaches 3,000 points in Cinebench R15 at 5.4 GHz

The CPU is a 10 cores and 20 threaded one with a maximum turbo clock of 5.3 GHz (Thermal Velocity Boost). The Core i9-10900K has a high TDP of 125 W and as it uses the same 14 nm architecture, it requires a good amount of cooling to push its limits with this CPU.

The new Intel Core i9-10900K reaches 3,000 points in Cinebench R15 at 5.4 GHz

The Core i9-10900K processor runs at 5.4 GHz with 1.35V voltage and achieves a score of 3,002 in Cinebench R15 multi-core benchmark. The score is pretty impressive, especially if its compared with last year’s Core i9-9900K that scores around 2040 points at stock frequency.

But if its compared to AMD’s last year flagship Ryzen 9 3900X, Intel has got a worthy to be a competitor this time because it already scored around 3049 points in multi-score at stock frequency. Even if Intel is happy with its great single-core frequency and a healthy multi-core scores, AMD has some bolder plan in 2020 with Ryzen 4000 desktop CPUs.
