The zombie apocalypse is getting a star-studded makeover! Call of Duty Black Ops 7 brings back the legendary original crew, and the voice actors behind these iconic characters are nothing short of spectacular. If you’re wondering who’s breathing life into your favorite undead-slaying heroes, you’re in for a treat.

Call of Duty All-Star Voice Cast Revealed

After the dramatic events of Black Ops 6, where Grigori Weaver, Dr. Elizabeth Grey, Major Mackenzie ‘Mac’ Carver, and Maya Aguinaldo were teleported into the Dark Aether dimension, they encounter the original crew: Tank Dempsey, Takeo Masaki, Nikolai Belinski, and Dr. Edward Richtofen. These returning legends are the “newest” additions to the BO7 storyline, and their voice actors are absolutely phenomenal.

Voice Actor Lineup Table

Character	Voice Actor	Notable Works	Previous COD Experience
Nikolai Belinski	Fred Tatasciore	Hulk (Marvel), Soldier: 76 (Overwatch)	COD veteran since MW2
Edward Richtofen	Nolan North	Nathan Drake (Uncharted), Deadpool	Zombies legend since WAW
Tank Dempsey	Steve Blum	Spike Spiegel (Cowboy Bebop), Wolverine	Original Zombies voice
Takeo Masaki	Nelson Lee	Fresh talent honoring Tom Kane’s legacy	New to the franchise

What Makes This Cast Special?

The return of Steve Blum, Nolan North, and Fred Tatasciore is like reuniting The Avengers of voice acting. These veterans have been the backbone of Call of Duty’s most memorable characters for over a decade. Their chemistry and comedic timing made the original Zombies crew legendary among fans.

However, the most touching story comes from newcomer Nelson Lee, who’s taking over the beloved Takeo Masaki role. “I cannot begin to express my excitement and gratitude for being entrusted with the iconic role of Takeo. This character’s incredible history within the Zombies universe was only made possible by the performances of the incomparable Tom Kane,” Lee shared, paying heartfelt tribute to the original voice actor who retired due to health reasons.

The Dark Aether Transformation

What’s fascinating about BO7’s approach is how all eight characters display noticeable changes, including pale skin, blue veins visible on their faces, and changed eye colors. This Dark Aether influence isn’t just visual – it’s giving the voice actors new material to work with, potentially showcasing different sides of these beloved characters.

The mysterious new element involves a mysterious new character carrying two skulls locked in cages that appear to drain energy from the characters, suggesting the voice cast will need to portray their characters in weakened or altered states.

Why This Matters for Gaming

Voice acting in gaming has evolved tremendously, and Call of Duty has always been at the forefront. These actors don’t just read lines – they create personalities that gamers connect with emotionally. When you’re mowing down zombies for hours, the banter and chemistry between characters becomes the heart of the experience.

The official Call of Duty website continues to showcase how premium voice talent elevates gaming experiences, making them more cinematic and engaging.
