The Indian cricket team have made us proud in more or less every match. We have an intense love for almost every Indian cricketer. Emotions run high in all the matches. When the Indian team win a match, all the people come out in the street and celebrate that moment.

A nationalist feeling comes when we see these 11 players playing for India. Cricket has often been likened to religion in India and these are the 11 legends who have made the Indians proud in every aspect.

1.   Sunil Gavaskar

Sunil Gavaskar is one of the greatest players that India have ever produced. He was arguably the greatest opening batsman of the Indian cricket team in the history of the game. He used to open the innings against fast bowlers.

During the 70s and 80s, he was the first batsman to scale peaks in the Test match and set several world records. His technique and unwavering determination made him the best batsman in the Indian Cricket Record.

2.   Virender Sehwag

3.   Rahul Dravid

Over the past few weeks more and more leaks of Threadripper 3000, CPUs are getting leaked every now and then. This suggests AMD has already started working on the Threadripper series and will bring it soon in the market.

AMD has already nailed it with its Ryzen 3000 CPUs and it seems soon they will capture the high-performance desktop range. Doubling the cores and threads is a habit for AMD but do they really affect the performance?

AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3rd Gen processors spotted with 32 Cores & 20% Faster than 2990WX

To an extent, yes they do but when it comes to single-core performance it lacks behind Intel’s superior architecture. This changed completely with Zen 2 architecture based on the efficient 7nm process.

The Threadripper 3000 CPUs will also feature the same Zen 2 architecture which is known for its high IPC, clock speed and huge cache memory. To sum up, AMD has improved a lot with its new Zen 2 CPUs and today the Ryzen 3000 processors are selling in the market like hotcakes.

Soon the Threadripper 3000 processors will be available for enthusiastic people who crave for high performance. Another advantage that AMD CPUs have is their cost, selling at 20-40% price margin than Intel, these CPUs are truly value-for-money and so do we expect with Threadripper.

We have already seen some Geekbench leaks of a 32-Core/64-Thread AMD desktop processor which we do feel to be part of the Threadripper 3000 series. We now have a Userbench result that names the CPU as AMD Eng Sample: 2D2832E6UIVG5_42/36_N.

This is a Sharktooth CPU (code name of Threadripper 3000) with a base clock of 3.6GHz and a turbo boost of 4.2GHz and has an average clock speed of 3.75GHz. With a huge 128MB of cache memory, this CPU has 35% better performance over the 2990WX.

The Threadripper 3000 CPU scored 5649 points in multi-core and 135 points in single-core which is pretty high as compared to 4328 and 118 points of the previous generation Threadripper 2990WX processor.

The previous sample that was leaked had 18.5% faster than last year’s 2990WX and carried a name tag of AMD 100-000000011-11. On the other hand, this CPU is codenamed AMD 100-000000011-12 and we feel this to be a higher-end model with greater performance.

AMD may use this opportunity to launch a new motherboard based on TR4 socket while maintaining backwards-compatibility with the AMD X399 chipset motherboards. This test too was conducted on a prototype board developed by AMD codenamed as “WhiteHavenOC-CP”.

AMD Threadripper 3000 Benchmarks leaked, up to 32 Cores at 4.2 GHz

This new chipset will enable PCI-E gen 4.0 and can come with stiffer CPU VRM and memory/PCIe wiring specifications to enable higher memory clocks and PCIe link stability. 

The 3rd generation of Threadrippers is expected to launch on the 7th of September 2019. These processors will have a TDP range of 250W and will be priced similarly to the last-gen Threadripper 2990WX at around $1,699.

Marais Erasmus and Kumar Dharmasena to officiate in last two Test matches of the Ashes

Kumar Dharmasena was originally appointed as the TV umpire for the fourth Test match but will now stand on-field with Marais Erasmus in both the remaining matches.

Marais Erasmus and Ruchira Palliyaguruge will join Kumar Dharmasena as the officiating umpires for the fourth and fifth Tests of the ongoing Ashes series between England and Australia.

Dharmasena was originally appointed as the TV umpire for the fourth Test match but will now stand on-field with Erasmus in both the remaining matches, with Ruchira Palliyaguruge officiating as the TV umpire in both matches.

The series is currently tied at 1-1. Australia won the first Ashes Test by 251 runs at Edgbaston in which Aleem Dar and Joel Wilson officiated as the on-field umpires while the second match, which ended in a draw at Lord’s, had Chris Gaffaney and Dar as on-field umpires. England squared up the rubber by winning the third Test by one wicket at Headingley and had Gaffaney and Wilson as on-field umpires.

Marais Erasmus and Kumar Dharmasena will be the on-field umpires for 3rd and 4th Ashes Test

Kumar Dharmasena was earlier appointed as the TV umpire for the fourth Test

Aleem Dar and Joel Wilson came under scanner after series of umpiring errors in first 3 Tests.

The fourth Test will begin from September 4 at the Old Trafford while the fifth and final Test will commence from September 12 at The Oval.

Some of the decisions in the first three games of the series came under the scanner with former players also calling for quality umpires over neutral ones.

Realme Q is the first phone to have a 64MP quad-camera shooter.

Realme Q is going to dominate the market…

Realme recently began teasing the launch of a new Q-series of phones in China. An official teaser image of the Realme Q revealed that the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 712 SoC and will pack quad rear cameras has been teased in the official account of Weibo China. But, the phone’s design looked strikingly similar to the Realme 5 Pro. Now, a full set of leaked Realme Q hands-on images suggests that the phone might well be a rebranded version of the Realme 5 Pro.

After teasing the launch of Realme Q series in China, the company yesterday dropped a poster showing the Realme Q itself, revealing that the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 712, which is the same SoC that powers the Realme 5 Pro as well. Moreover, the phone depicted in the poster looks identical to the Realme 5 Pro, down to the quad rear cameras and the company’s signature diamond-cut design with a gradient finish.

And if that was not enough of an unofficial confirmation, a whole set of leaked hands-on images showing the Realme Q’s retail package and the phone itself from all angles suggest that it is indeed a rebranded version of the Realme 5 Pro. The leaked images, which surfaced on Weibo, show the Realme Q which looks identical to the Realme 5 Pro’s Crystal Green colour variant.

It is also worth mentioning that the Realme 5 Pro was recently spotted on TENAA, lending more strength to the speculation that the phone will almost definitely hit the shelves in China, but under a different name if Realme’s Q-series campaign is anything to go by.

If that turns out to be true, the Realme Q will sport a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) display and will draw power from the Snapdragon 712 SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM. The lights will be kept on by a 4,035mAh battery with support for VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology. As for the imaging hardware, we can expect the Realme Q to pack a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor, assisted by an 8-megapixel depth sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel portrait lens, while selfies will be handled by a 16-megapixel front camera.

Rohan Bopanna and his Canadian partner Denis Shapovalov stunned Australian Open champions Nicolas Mahut and Pierre-Hughes Herbert with a comfortable straight-sets win in the first round of the men’s doubles campaign,US Open 2019.

India experienced a mixed day at the US Open as Rohan Bopanna advanced to the men’s doubles second round with Denis Shapovalov but Leander Paes made a first-round exit with Guillermo Duran.

Rohan Bopanna and Denis Shapovalov needed just 55-minutes to clinch a 6-3, 6-1 win over the Australian Open doubles champions in their 1st-round meeting in New York. Bopanna and Shapovalov came up with a fine performance as they won 73% points on first serve and converted all 5 break point opportunities that came their way.

Bopanna and Shapovalov lost their serve twice but broke their rivals six times out of seven chances.

India’s top-ranked men’s doubles star Rohan Bopanna along with Canadian partner Denis Shapovalov progressed to the 2nd round of US Open 2019 with a stunning win over 4th seeds Nicolas Mahut and Pierre-Hughes Herbert on Friday.

After the win of the duo, they will face next face Italian duo of Andreas Seppi and Marco Cecchinato in the 2nd round.

Earlier on the same day, Divij Sharan and Leander Paes lost their respective doubles.

Paes and Argentina’s Guillermo Duran lost 5-7 2-6 to Serbia’s Miomir Kecmanovic and Norway’s Casper Ruud.

Divij Sharan and Monaco’s Hugo Nys had also lost their first-round to Robert Carballes Baena and Federico Delbonis on Thursday.The Indian and his French partner lost 4-6 4-6 to the players, who are both ranked outside top-100 bracket. Sharan and Nys did not get any break-point in the 72-minute clash while their rivals broke them once each in both the sets to move to the next round.

Manchester United defender Chris Smalling joins Roma

Roma have confirmed the signing of Manchester United outcast Chris Smalling on a season-long loan.

Chris Smalling made 24 Premier League appearances last season. But Manchester United have bought Harry Maguire from Leicester City for a record fee. So Solskjaer have now given the 29-year-old the permission to leave. He has informed the England international that he would not feature as a regular this season.

Smalling has not made an appearance so far this campaign. And has now decided to make his career elsewhere. He has finalized his move to the Serie A side Roma on a season-long loan.

Roma have officially announced Chris Smalling’s signing on a one-year loan deal for a reported €3m fee. The deal does not include an option to purchase him permanently at the end of the season.

Roma have lost their star centre-back Kostas Manolas to Napoli earlier this summer. So they were keen to sign an experienced central defender before the transfer window closes. Smalling has been at Old Trafford since 2010, having arrived from Fulham. He has 8 years of Premier League experience which made him the perfect player for Roma.

Fifth seeded PV Sindhu eyes the China Open starting from September

PV Sindhu the World Champion, currently the Fifth seeded will face the 2012 Olympic champion Li Xuerui in a blockbuster opening round.

PV Sindhu will play her first tournament after the World Championship triumph at the $1 million China Open, to be held in Changzhou from September 17-22.

“Sindhu will be flying out on September 14 for China,” her father PV Ramana said from Hyderabad after their short visit to Tirupati.

The China Open is one of the three Super 1000 (highest tier) tournaments on the BWF World Tour which Sindhu won in 2016.

London Olympics bronze medallist Saina Nehwal, who also won the event in 2014, has been seeded eighth and will play her opener against Thai Busanan Ongbamrungphan. Saina has been seeded No 1 for the $500,000 Chinese Taipei Open (September 3-8) and faces South Korean An Se Young in the first round.

Meanwhile, India’s brightest talents in men’s singles—Kidambi Srikanth and B Sai Praneeth—will go head-to-head in the first round of China Open. While Srikanth won the event in 2014, Sai on Sunday became only the second Indian man to claim a medal (bronze) at the Worlds after Prakash Padukone.

The first round will also see another Indian exiting as 2014 Commonwealth Games champion Parupalli Kashyap will face HS Prannoy while Sameer Verma will take on Hong Kong’s Ng Ka Long Angus.
