The Korean giant confirmed that it is going to unveil its smart digital appliances aiming for “maximizing in-home entertainment and connected gaming experiences.”
Samsung announced this Life Unstoppable event, maybe, because it is not going to participate in the upcoming IFA that is going to held in September. So, now, Samsung has its own event to showcase products related to TV, audio, and home appliances. There are possibilities to launch some mid-range smartphones as well.
In the case you don’t know, in the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung is going to launch five new products – the Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Buds, and Galaxy Watches.
Realme 6i is launched in India with a lot of specs and seems to be the last addition in the Realme 6 series. The Realme 6i is the toned-down version of the Realme 6 and today the phone is launched in India with a lot of mid-range specs at a very reasonable price range. The phone will be available in two different colour options and two storage variants. The first sale is at 12 PM, 31st July at http://realme.com & Flipkart.
Realme 6i features a 6.5-inch FHD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels display) with 90Hz refresh rate. It has a quad rear camera setup that includes a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens, an 8MP sensor with an f/2.3 ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP sensor with f/2.4 portrait lens, and finally a 2MP sensor with an f/2.4 macro lens. The storage can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB) with a dedicated slot. The device runs on Android 10 with Realme UI on top. The phone has 4G LTE connectivity with USB Type-C port for charging. It is powered with a 4,300mAh battery and supports 30W Flash Charge. But the company has only provided a 20W charger in the box.
Recently, EA Sports dropped a new official reveal trailer wherein they announced the Manchester United legend Eric Cantona as their new FIFA 21 Icon. So, the Man United fans can include able Cantona in their FIFA 21 team, as the launch game is nearing, slated to be released in October this year.
We have seen other former Man United players being used as Icons in the game including Edwin van der Sar, George Best, Paul Scholes, Peter Schmeichel, Rio Ferdinand Ryan Giggs, and Roy Keane.
Obviously, fans are more excited than ever as they will be able to use Cantona in their squad as a legend. Eric Cantona has an amazing history with Man United that lasted for five seasons. During the 5 years of his stay at Old Trafford, the Frenchman made 185 appearances, out of which he scored 82 goals across all competitions.
His time at the club was marked by immense success domestically because Man United won four Premier League titles over the five seasons. He also won the FA Charity Shield thrice and won the FA Cup twice but Cantona retired sooner than expected at the age of 30 in 1997.
Samsung may acquire the Philips’ appliances unit soon. The same possibility is also applicable to the other South Korean Giant LG. Both these Korean brands may come up with their small home electronics product offerings. Though there is no official confirmation from their side.
The Dutch company, Philips already announced its plan to sell its domestic appliances business in 2021, and as per a report of Pulse, Samsung might be planning to take that division. The uncertainty is also there because Samsung generally focuses on high-end products and white goods.
Philips is actually trying to focus on the healthcare sector. As a result, it is on the way to sell the audio and video business as well as the lighting department.
by Pulse
Same as Samsung, there is also a high possibility for LG, as I told earlier. We all know that Samsung is currently selling refrigerators, ovens, washing machines, and some other under its home appliances section. If it acquires the Philips’ part, then it can reach to the small home electronics products as well.
At present, Philips has its research and development centers in India, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Italy having around 4,700 employees. Other than that, there are factories in Austria, Brazil, and China.

If you’re an Indian fan and want to see the ISL in FIFA 21, then go to FIFPlay and vote for ‘Indian League’.
This poll result may not have any effect on EA’s decision of including new leagues in FIFA 21, but this will clearly show how much the fans want ISL in the game.
If EA does include ISL, then this should lead to a huge spike in the game’s sales in the country. The move will also enable the Indian Super League to expand its already increasing fan base in global markets.

FIFA 20 was a major hit for EA Sports but its disastrous career mode disheartened a lot of its fans but it seems EA Sports has listened to fans and wants to repent for its mistakes.
Last year with the launch of FIFA 20, there were a lot of bugs and embarrassing issues with the career mode and EA Sports didn’t fix them in its update. Players immediately took to social media and started a campaign with #FixCareerMode trending on Twitter.
In its recent FIFA 21 reveal trailer, we have seen flashes of some new features of the upcoming game. Mbappe is in the cover of the game this time and is supported by the likes of the other young stars of football – João Félix, Erling Braut Håland, and Trent Alexander-Arnold. There we see the glimpse of bringing CO-OP mode in FUT of FIFA 21.
EA Sports has paid more attention to FUT by applying regular updates and fixing bugs mostly because its one of the key revenue generator for the game developer. In the reveal trailer we also see the interactive match sim that lets you jump in and out of career mode matches during charge of key moments, such as penalties and free kicks.
This looks inspired by Football Manager’s match sim feature wherein you can monitor the match data and make changes directly from the sim based on the match stats and your player’s performance levels and stamina. Until now, the match sim had no such options, you had to rely on the AI which randomly predicted the result of the game, it seems a major change is coming.
Eurogamer also says that there will be a revamped growth system that would allow you to turn right backs into right wingers and even defensive midfielders into centre backs, which is awesome! Until now we had the option of changing positions of players in FUT only and this time its coming the career mode as well, making this more realistic.
The career mode will also have a new attribute called match sharpness that indicates how likely your players are to perform in the most crucial moments during the course of any game. The match sharpness of any player can be increased with a new Active Training System that, in turn, gives you the ability to set up group training sessions which will help improve the likelihood of your strikers putting big chances away or your defenders making the key tackles.
There will changes in the transfer options as well, you will be able to loan to buy offers with optional or mandatory future transfer fees. You can even customize your career mode with new initial set-up options.
The official blurb says: “Get a more true-to-life experience of negotiating signings on the transfer market with Authentic Transfers, or boost your team’s starting budget to help you build your squad with Financial Takeover.” The financial takeover was previously seen but how realistic will it be this time that will be the key thing to notice, more details coming in August.
Having ruled out from the major 5G networks including the US and UK, it seems this time France will also ban Huawei’s 5G equipment in its country. Obviously this ban is kind of aftereffect of the US-China trade war which has been fueled by the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.
French authorities have told telecom operators planning to buy Huawei 5G equipment that they won’t be able to renew licenses for the gear once they expire, effectively phasing Huawei 5G mobile network.
Like all other European countries, France has also been laying the ground for its next-generation 5G mobile market and like many others has been dependent on Huawei technologies. The United States is strongly against China and its companies and so it has pressed its allies to support them as well because of their allegations say that the company’s equipment could be used by the Chinese government for espionage.
Earlier this month, France’s cybersecurity agency ANSSI said it would allow operators to use the equipment, including Huawei’s, under licenses of three to eight years. It was also urging telcos not currently using the Chinese company’s gear to avoid switching to it as well.
“France’s position is similar to that of Britain, but the government’s communication is different,” one of the sources said. “Huawei can’t do much about it.”
The bulk of authorizations for Huawei gear were for three or five years, while those from other European rivals like Ericsson or Nokia received eight-year licenses. The operators have been told by French authorities during informal conversations in recent months, not stated formally in documents, that licenses granted for Huawei equipment would not be renewed thereafter. So, this limits any further use of Huawei’s 5G equipment in France.
Though the world is still trying to install the 5G services, some tech giants are preparing to dive into 6G research and development. MediaTek is one of those companies. It launches its Dimensity 720 5G SoC today and it’s a mid-range processor. It may possible they bring some other 5G enabled SoCs later, but parallelly it is preparing for the 6G network too.
As per a recent report, the chipset manufacturer is already started working through a 6G research and development center which is situated in Finland. Hope you know, it’s the home of Nokia and it is also a global player in the communication and networking field.
The Finnish Government and universities are already researching in favor of 6G technology commercialization and hoping to complete it by 2030. Though the work is in its very preliminary stage and also there are no properly defined indicators currently. We can only hope for some interesting developments in the next few years.
Apart from MediaTek, Samsung also published its White Paper last week informing about 6G network research. As per the White Paper, the 6G network can provide us a peak data rate of 1,000 Gbps which is 50 times than 5G data rate, lesser latency, and more.
