Quique Setien dreams of having Fabian Ruiz at Barcelona

0

The Spaniard 61-year old coach has a unique connection with his former Real Betis player Fabian Ruiz who is currently at Napoli. Fabian worked under Setien in Real Betis and was one of the key man for his boss.

He has now become an important player for Napoli and as Setien commands over Barcelona, he dreams to bring his former midfielder back at the Camp Nou. Even though Barca has a wide option in the midfield but it is likely that both Rakitic and Vidal will be shown the doors this summer.

Quique Setien dreams of having Fabian Ruiz at Barcelona

So, naturally Barca would likely to have a good as well as young midfielder on their side. If Fabian arrives at Barcelona it would bring down the average age of Barca’s midfield from 32 (Rakitic, Busquets and Vidal) to 24 (Frenkie, Fabian and Arthur).

Obviously, in this financial crisis bringing Fabian to Barcelona would be a costly option for Barca. The reports also suggests that Carles Alena, Riqui Puig and Alex Collado remain as options for the club and they will get a chance to impress, but Fabian remains a ‘dream’ transfer target.

It is said that Real Madrid has also been linked with the midfielder, and his agent did admit that the Los Blancos have asked about the 24-year-old. So, this time Barca have some big summer targets but ultimately time will tell how many of them can land to the Camp Nou finally.

Spotify leads the Online Music Streaming market with 35% market share

A recent study says, last year the global online music streaming subscription reached 358 million. It is a growth of 32%. As almost all the country people are at home for the coronavirus outbreak, the subscription market may grow up to 25% this year. Though, the companies’ promotional campaign, improvement in content, etc are also responsible for it.

In the Year-on-Year measure scale od 2019, Spotify leads the entire World market of online music streaming. It succeeded to secure a 31% share of the total revenue and a 35% share of the total paid subscription.

Global-Music-Streaming-Paid-Subscriptions-by-Brand-Share_TechnoSports.co.in

Apple Music comes in the second position with a 24% share of total revenue and a 19% share of paid subscriptions, followed by Amazon Music. Amazon Music grabbed a 15% share of subscriptions. YouTube music and Tencent Music received 6% and 11% of the revenue respectively.

Though the global music streaming platforms are trying to make their content better, offer price cuts for premium, and so on, the regional music platforms are very hard to beat in their area. Because they can provide the best local music content than global leaders. That’s the reason for the popularity of Gaana in India.

As the competition increases, the users may get more benefits for premium access. Especially in case of pricing. Hoping for a better market in Online Music Streaming.

UEFA president confirms the Champions League must finish by 3rd August

0

The Coronavirus pandemic has dealt a huge blow to football. The whole world is in lockdown mode right now. The football leagues have been suspended to prevent players getting infected by COVID-19.

UEFA have also moved the European Championships to 2021 to give all the leagues enough time to complete their season. Initially, UEFA wanted the leagues to end this season by June. But as it now seems, it will take a long time to restart this season.

All the leagues hope to restart the 2019-20 season by April or May. But the COVID-19 outbreak is still going strong, so there’s no definite return date. UEFA’s president has suggested this season would have to be considered as null and void if they fail to restart by the end of June.

champions league ball

UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin confirmed that 3rd August is the possible date for the 2019-20 Champions League final. If the Champions League isn’t finished at the start of August, then the tournament could get cancelled.

UEFA are also considering about changing the two-legged tie format. They may make the knockout matches as a one game affair to finish off the Champions League quickly.

Aleksander Ceferin told German broadcaster ZDF: “It must finish by August 3, both the Champions League and Europa League. It is an extraordinary situation we are in, so we are flexible on dates and kick-off times. If the crisis eases earlier, then we can start sooner.”

“We could play with the current system, or in one-off matches played on neutral turf. For now, it’s just an option to play with a final eight or final four.”

“The only wrong decision we could make now would be to play in a way that puts the health and safety of players, fans and referees at risk. However, if we are in secure conditions, then I don’t see the problem.”

Van de Beek talks about Real Madrid links

Last season when Ajax had a dream run in the Champions League, beating the likes of Real Madrid and Juventus, all of their young talents became the taking point of the football clubs. They were linked to the top European clubs.

Frenkie de Jong went to Barcelona, Matthijs de Ligt signed for Juventus and Hakim Ziyech signed a deal with Chelsea recently which will see him join the Blues in the summer.

van de beek kroos

Real Madrid have been following Donny Van de Beek from the last season. They wanted to strengthen the midfield, as a result they wanted to sign Manchester United star Paul Pogba.

But it seems unlikely that Real Madrid could sign Pogba. The more realistic option is to sign Van de Beek. So now they have again strengthened their interest in the Netherlands international.

Van de Beek has scored 10 goals in 37 games for Ajax this season. All the major football leagues in the world have been suspended due to the Coronavirus pandemic. As a result, the transfer speculations have started coming back again to the surface.

van de beek

Van de Beek told Helden discussing his Real Madrid links: “My feelings about a club have to be positive. I don’t mean that it only important to feel wanted, I also need to fit in to the style of play. And of course, I would need to know how much playing time I would be given.”

He further added: “It’s always nice to play in the sun, but I haven’t started taking Spanish classes yet.”

Maybe Van de Beek would get his dream transfer in this summer. If Real Madrid fail to get any silverware for the second straight season, they would then go all out on strengthening their squad.
