Today on September 2nd, Intel has totally changed its logo, branding and their way of approaching things, this is the first time in years, Intel has done something creative. Previously we had leaks suggesting this, however, today Intel has totally changed their outlook of taking things and its new look gives a headstart to the new era of computing.
Yes, Intel had been a pioneer in the silicon industry, although, for a last couple of years they had become a more business company than an innovative one. AMD’s Ryzen has completely shaken the Blue team, from snatching the CPU market away from Intel to eating away chunks of market share from Intel gradually has made Intel make a lot of changes internally and now an overhaul in their look as well.
2020, was not a great year for Intel as even its huge customer, Apple also ditched them for their upcoming products and its laptop market has also been hit with AMD’s Ryzen 4000. Intel has changed their historical logo with a new dynamic one and it looks great quite frankly.
Their complete product range will go through a change in packaging to stickers, from its Core CPUs to new EVO platform and even its Xeon CPUs are too getting a new look and the color scheme looks cool and dynamic, a much-needed transition from their silver logo and stickers.
More articles about Tiger Lake will be coming soon…😉
OnePlus really not done with launches and has few a more in the pipeline including the usual ‘T’ variant of their flagship which is also a mid-year upgrade with almost some minor updates to hardware over the last flagship and this time it is OnePlus 8T which is going to be a mid-year upgrade to the earlier launch OnePlus 8 duo.
Recently OnePlus may have revealed the alleged OnePlus 8T through a rendered image in its software image file of Developer Preview of OxygenOS 11 which is OnePlus’ next version of operating system based on Android 11. The image was found in the ‘About Phone’ section under the name OnePlus_8T.webp which was there apart from images of the OnePlus 8 duo.
The image gives us a look at the display panel of the alleged OnePlus 8T which looks very much like the OnePlus 8 having a flat display and punch-hole cutout in the top left corner. Interestingly another image shared by a twitter user @TechnoAnkit1 gives us a look at another upcoming device with the same left top corner punch-hole cutout but the display is curved so it might be the other from the duo, the Pro model, and is due to launch imminently.
Apart from the OnePlus 8T’s rendered image we also get a look at the new Game Space which can be now accessed both in landscape and portrait mode and offers a bunch of new features such as a toggle for Fnatic Mode, mistouch prevention, screen recorder and it also lets you monitor your phone’s battery level and temperature as well. Further, OxygenUpdater has also found some hints to 8K video support for upcoming devices in the updated camera application which would be arriving in the next set of smartphones such as the upcoming OnePlus 8T which is expected to feature a 64MP sensor at the back.
There is certainly no idea about the authenticity of the leak but the leak kinda be true keeping in mind that it’s found from OnePlus’s own software and usually the ‘T’ models have the same design as the vanilla models so it might be true but nothing can’t be said so I will suggest you wait till few more weeks and we might have complete look at the upcoming OnePlus 8T.

2020 has been an uneventful year as per matches are concerned. However, the show must go on, as the matches have started obviously under empty stadiums.
The ICC just updated the T20 batsman rankings for the year 2020. Now that the sport has resumed, the rankings could be a good starting baseline for the rest of the year. For Indian fans, however, the rankings don’t seem much eventful as only two Indian batsmen could crack their way in the top-10 rankings.
Indian captain Virat Kohli kicked off the list at number 10 spot. He starts off the list with 673 points, just one point behind number 9 spot Evin Lewis. Kohli, however, has the highest average among the entire list with 50.80 with a decent strike rate of 138.
The second Indian to make the cut is the stylish opener, KL Rahul. Rahul finds himself at an impressive spot of number 2. Despite moving around in the stacked Indian batting line up, the Karnataka cricketer has consistently delivered match-winning performances both in ODIs and T20s. He has also maintained a phenomenal strike rate of 146, just by playing conventional textbook shots with an equally good average of 45.65. The list is topped by Pakistan captain Babar Azam. The list is as follows (via Insidesport)
ICC T20 batsman rankings 2020
1) Babar Azam (Pak) – 869 points
2) KL Rahul (Ind) – 824 points
3) Aaron Finch (Aus) – 820 points
4) Colin Munro (NZ) – 785 points
5) David Malan (Eng) – 771 points
6) Glenn Maxwell (Aus) – 721 points
7) Eoin Morgan (Eng) – 702 points
8) Hazratullah Zazai (Afg) – 676 points
9) Evin Lewis (WI) – 674 points
10) Virat Kohli (Ind) – 673 points
The rankings may look uneventful for the Indian fans, however, one of the factors also being the fact that India has played only 8 matches in 2020. India is yet to taste defeat this year as they have won 7 out of the 8 matches, one being called off due to rain. It also includes a massive 5-0 whitewash of New Zealand in New Zealand. We may see more Indian batsmen making this list post-IPL in the earlier half of 2021.

The CZ.NIC association introduces a new hardware-based firewall that everybody can install.
The CZ.NIC association, the administrator of the Czech national domain, introduced today a unique firewall from the open-source Turris family. The innovation is called the Turris Shield and offers users a unique security system for all household devices connected to the internet. Users do not need to be IT experts or insiders to use it. Turris Shield is connected before a standard home Wi-fi router, so the whole household or office becomes secure. Owners of routers with an integrated modem can use the Turris Shield behind the router and add any Wi-Fi AP. After the first launch, the administrator’s password must be set and Turris Shield will then immediately test its vulnerability. From that moment, the whole network is protected by the fastest adaptive firewall on the market. The firewall can respond to threats within seconds. On top of this, Turris Shield has an integrated Open VPN support to facilitate work from home and increase security when travelling. The hardware-based firewall Turris Shield can be purchased in European Amazon stores for USD 109.
“The mission of the Turris project is to create internet immunity and protect the most essential part of any network: the router,” says Michal Hrušecký from the Turris development team. “The Turris Omnia router was our first product. Then we introduced the modular Turris MOX intended for the most demanding tech fans. Now we want to offer a prime security system also to normal users who don’t want to play with their network, but who need top protection. This is why we developed Turris Shield.“
Every month more than three thousand attacks are made on average on every router or server all over the world. Some attacks are averted thanks to up-to-date and well secured software, but many attacks are unfortunately successful. If successful, the attacker takes control over your device and gets access to user data, passwords and often also money. The hardware firewall Turris Shield will reliably prevent attackers from taking control over the network and connected devices.
Standard routers rely on updates installed by the user who however usually ignore this process, because they simply don’t know there is a new release. This is however a different case with Turris Omnia and Turris MOX routers and now also the Turris Shield firewall. They take care of their security updates themselves. The world-wide network of Turris devices also cooperates on the detection and elimination of new internet threats and can respond within two seconds thanks to the Sentinel system. An attack on a Turris device in, say, Australia is therefore instantly detected on all Turris devices all over the world. And this is a big advantage for owners of normal routers who have easily upgraded them with the unique Czech Turris Shield firewall.
Virtual private network for everyone
But there is more in the Turris Shield than an adaptive firewall. It can also run Open VPN (Virtual Private Network) in the server and client modes. This means that websites that would otherwise discriminate the user due to his/her geographical location now become accessible. Or, from the other perspective, safe access to the home network is permitted from any location. Both businesses and people who need to connect to their network when traveling or doing home office will appreciate this function. Thanks to encrypted VPN, Turris Shield will ensure anonymity and the desired security in all instances.
The invisible heroes of the Turris project
The user community involved in this project is one of the cornerstones of this unparalleled security system of all Turris routers and devices. They feed in precious data to the Turris command centre which can then respond to the most diverse threats and protect all users involved.
“Thousands of internet users from all over the world are involved in the Turris project. It is thanks to their help that every day we can detect hundreds of attackers who want to take control over other people’s routers,“ said Martin Prudek, the developer of the Turris firewall system. “We believe that Turris Shield will contribute to even more use of the Turris OS system and more data about wannabe attackers can be collected for higher security. It will also help those who lack the capacity for regular care of their network.“
In 2020, AMD has been making headlines with their new Ryzen 4000 APUs that have totally dominated the laptop market and it is evident from their Q2 earnings. Although Intel has made a lot of offerings in the form of 10th gen CPUs, but could never match with AMD’s price-to-performance ratio. While Intel still remains on 4 cores, AMD has jumped to 8 cores not only with gaming-centric H-series but also for the efficient 15W TDP based U series.
This has resulted in a surging demand for AMD powered laptops, especially when even a thin and light notebook too can now have 8 physical cores which can result in blazing fast performances. People can now get amazing speeds on laptops without having to spend much because the lower Ryzen 3 4300U is more powerful than the last-gen flagship. Also, the 7nm efficiency has helped these APUs deliver incredible battery life that was a weak spot for AMD until now.
In India too people have gone crazy about new Ryzen 4000U & 4000H powered laptops, from Lenovo to Dell, from Asus to HP, every OEM has introduced their new Ryzen laptops in India. However, the point is, most of the laptops have been retailing with much higher pricing these days and people have been complaining to me regarding this also a lot of them like the Lenovo Ideapad Slim 5, Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 has been out of stock for weeks now.
So, a lot of you asked me to contact AMD and so I did, I asked the following question:
Why AMD’s new Ryzen 4000 APU powered laptops are getting price hikes and getting out of stock recently in India? It would be great to know what’s AMD’s point of view regarding this
To that AMD India representative has answered:
“We are seeing unprecedented demand for our AMD Ryzen 4000 mobile series processors based on leadership performance and energy efficiency. AMD Ryzen 4000 processor sales ramped faster than any mobile processor in AMD history, resulting in AMD gaining 5.8 points of mobile market share in 2020 (Mercury). We are increasing production to address the incremental demand requests from our customers for AMD Ryzen 4000 series processors and are focused on growing our footprint in the notebook market.”
It’s true, AMD is having mind-blowing sales, and as we heard from other sources as well, this is an international deficit, however, rest be assured AMD is trying to resolve this. I have been informed soon, this situation with Ryzen 4000 APUs will be resolved and in India, not only the previously launched ones but also, a lot of new ones will be arriving as well.
However, the overpricing situation might get resolved as well when ample stocks arrive and do not fall into prey of wrong pricing on both Amazon and Flipkart. I have seen laptops like HP Omen 15 getting almost Rs.6k-7k price hikes on Amazon, so wait for few days until the situation gets resolved, if you have any queries feel free to comment or email us.

The revenue earned by clubs has already taken a hit due to the COVID-19 pandemic preventing patrons from entering stadiums. If that wasn’t enough, La Liga’s latest rules will have a nasty impact on the finances of most clubs.
According to a law passed by the government, betting companies will be banned from sponsoring teams. Have a look at the official declaration by the government here.
Spanish Minister for Consumer Affairs Alberto Garzon told the press of the government’s intentions on La Sexta. His statement reads as follows: “In the decree that will be approved in October we are going to prohibit that football clubs carry bookmakers on their shirts; it is reckless the clubs that are signing deals for two or three years and will have to correct it. They are making mistakes and they will have to correct it,”
To wrap it up in short, the government is looking to ban La Liga teams from having betting companies sponsor them in any form.
Impact of the declaration
The declaration by Garzon prevents the logos of betting companies to appear on the shirts of clubs in Spain. Although the league itself is involved with Sportium as the official sportsbook company of the league, the ban imposed on clubs will hamper the amount of money they get from these betting companies by up to 70%.
The biggest teams in Spain that are sponsored by betting teams include Sevilla and Valencia. While Valencia is sponsored by Bwin, Sevilla sports Marathon Bet’s logo in bold on their kits. Other teams that earn profit from betting companies include Alaves, Leganes, Granada, Mallorca, Osasuna, and Levante.
This is not the first time that the Spanish government has tried to cut down on betting.
After play resumed following the lockdown, teams were forced to hide betting sponsors for three matchdays. This was because of the state of emergency declared in Spain until the 25th of July.
The league looks set to make a change in the sponsorship landscape from the 2020-21 season. This could impact a lot of clubs negatively, not to mention putting their future in jeopardy.
