Also, we got the 1080p gaming benchmarks, where the previous-gen Ryzen 7 3800X scored about 88.6 fps in the Crazy_1080p test. On the other hand, the new 8 core and 16 threaded Ryzen 7 5800X scored 142.4 fps on average — meaning about 60.7% uplift at the same test and same RAM capacity.
This kind of CPU performance uplift can actually give Intel shivers because this is indeed the Ryzen 7 5800X and it would be interesting to see how the Ryzen 9 series performs, and with any leaks or info, we will be sharing with you all.
Amazon announced a new payment system for real-world shops. Its new Amazon One lets users make payments via a simple wave of a hand.
Palm scanner technology has been in talks for a long time. However, with amazon finally implementing it for digital payments, the technology will receive a significant boost.
While many companies have experimented with the technology. Amazon successfully integrating the tech means the palm scanning technology will have a strong presence in the retail market.
Amazon One scanner registers an image of the user’s palm, allowing them to pay by hovering their hand mid-air for about a second.
The company reported that the product will first be trialed at its GO store in Seattle. The company also states that it is an inactive discussion with other potential partners to roll out the new scanner to other shops in the future.
The company believes that the new device can become an alternate payment or loyalty card option at the checkout counter next to a traditional point of sale system. The system could be used for entering a location like a stadium or scanning yourself into work instead of using an ID card.

Palm technology is based on capturing the vein patterns of the palms. These patterns are different for each finger and each person. Since they are hidden underneath the skin’s surface, forgery is extremely difficult.
Palm scanning biometric authentication is based on physical characteristics that stay constant throughout one’s lifetime and are more difficult to fake, change, or steal.
The company has not released details on exactly how its Amazon One works. The only details the company released is that the device will use “custom-built algorithms and hardware” and scan “distinct features on and below the surface” of the hand.
Amazon stated, “You can’t determine a person’s identity by looking at an image of their palm”.
Customers can just insert their bank cards and follow the on-screen instructions to link their palm print to that payment option. No Amazon account will be required for registration.
The company promises data security as the print will be encrypted and kept securely in the Cloud. Customers can also delete their data via the company website.

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi debuted in the Audio segment a few months ago with Earbuds S in the country and then later on it introduced the budget-oriented Redmi Earphones and is all set to launch two more audio products in India on October 7.
Redmi India shared a teaser image on the microblogging platform Twitter confirming the launch event for the launch of two audio products which are supposed to be earphones on October 7th at 12:30 PM.
Redmi is using the hashtag #RedmiBeatDrop to market the products and even made a dedicated webpage for the launch event which lists some of the key highlights of both the products.

It can be concluded that Redmi is launching wireless in-ear headphones with a neckband design very much like OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z while the second product is expected to be a TWS earphone which could be the recently announced Redmi AirDots 2 which has been launched in China for 79 Yuan.
Redmi is teasing wireless in-ear headphones with “Bass That Sounds Heavenly” and is teasing some features as clear sound, the option to pair with another pair of earphones, sweat resistance, inbuilt volume controls, and Bluetooth 5.0 which is teased with “Get a High-Five connection”.
Another product teased is TWS earphones which Xiaomi says that “It’s Gonna Be Hell Of A Party”. Redmi claims that it will be lightweight and will be offering 3X battery life than other TWS earphones in the segment and you can also access the voice assistant of your choice through the earbuds.
There is currently no idea about what models these exactly are or what price they’d be launched at but we expect to be launch in a lower budget segment since Redmi is known to cater to the ultra-budget market in the country. It’s not for the first time, there are already smart bulbs from Mi in the Indian market. This new one is a 7.5W B22 bulb that pushes up to 810 lumens at peak brightness. Manchester United are now in the race for securing the services of Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic on a season-long loan. United has already started to talk about the potential loan move with the Spanish Champion.
Luca Jovic joined Real Madrid in 2019 after a blistering season in Bundesliga with Eintracht Frankfurt. But he failed to deliver as per expectation for the Spanish side. In his 28 appearances for Real Madrid, he has scored only 2 goals. He is also having a lack of game time as well. A year ago Google teased the dark mode for the Maps and now finally after a year Google Maps has started receiving the dark mode with the new update marked 10.51.1.
The traces of dark mode was found in version 10.50 but the recently updated version 10.51.1 has a fully fledge dark mode which is gradually rolling out to the Android users.
The feature was reported several Reddit users who said that they started getting dark mode this week and when turned on the maps themselves turn into some dark shade of gray with colored text for locations tag and buttons and the search bar has a slightly darker shade of gray.

Just like other Google android applications, Maps also gives you the option to select between the dark mode or default theme and gets the new appearance menu from where you select between Light theme, Dark theme, or default to your device theme which sets the theme according to your device’s theme.
There has been an automatic toggle for dark mode from long time but that was only limited to the navigation which switches on after sun is set or if you’re going through some tunnel.
It’s quite surprising to see that the whole dark overhaul took Google this much time since they already had the dark mode for navigation which could have served as a mold for the new theme but still Google knows the best and there would be definitely some work behind the change since Maps is hugely used applications and millions of people use it daily for navigation.
Chances are that you might not be able to experience it now since it has been rolling out to few select users for now randomly through the server-side itself as several users on Maps 10.51.1 reported that they are unable to find the new option so maybe it will be rolled out to mass users within next few days.
