Kylian Mbappe wants to play in Premier League or LaLiga in 2021

Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe wants a move to the Premier League or LaLiga in the next summer.

Real Madrid has been a long admirer of the Frenchman. Club president, Florentino Perez wants to bring the World Cup winner to the Bernabeu.

Mbappe also admires his fellow countryman, Zinedine Zidane, who is the current manager of Real Madrid. Perez has given the responsibility of bringing Mbappe to Real Madrid to Zidane.

According to a report by Sunday Times, Mbappe would like a move to either LaLiga or the Premier League, with Real Madrid and Liverpool touted as a potential destination.

Kylian Mbappe joined PSG from Monaco in 2018 for a reported fee of around €145m. He has scored 90 goals in 124 games for the club till now.

The World Cup winner said in January: “What Liverpool do in this moment is amazing,”

“They’re like a machine, they’ve found a rhythm and are like ‘we play again, we play again’. When you watch you think everything’s easy, but that’s not easy. The guys are focused, they play games every three days and they win, they win, they win.”

“Performances like they have been having don’t just happen. To be as ruthless as they have been would come from lots of hard work in training and from having a very good manager.”

Mbappe has reportedly told PSG sporting director Leonardo that he wants to leave in 2021. Real Madrid and Liverpool will definitely be in the market for the next big star in world football.

Tottenham announce signing of two-time World Cup winner Alex Morgan

While the Premier League season kicked off yesterday, the FA Women’s Super League kicked off last Sunday. The Tottenham Hotspur women’s team has successfully negotiated the signing of the 31-year-old striker Alex Morgan on a loan deal. She is set to play with Spurs for the entirety of the 2020-21 season.

Morgan previously played for Orlando Pride of the NWSL. She now becomes the fifth American player to make the move abroad.

Lauded as one of the best female strikers in the world, Morgan has been a superstar for the USWNT. She guided the women’s team to two successive World Cup victories and has scored 107 goals in 169 appearances for her national team.

She was awarded the US Soccer’s Female Player of the Year award in 2018 and also managed to take home the silver boot along with the 2019 World Cup. Her goal tally was equal to that of her teammate Megan Rapinoe, and she only lost out on the fewest minutes rule.

While the USWNT star has not played since May due to the birth of her son, Charlie, few can doubt her talent and her skills.

Along with the World Cup, Morgan has also led the national team to multiple Olympic medals and looks to gain her match fitness back before the time comes once again next year.

While local rivals Chelsea and Arsenal have dominated the Women’s Super League for the last few years, Morgan’s arrival can provide competition to the Blues and the Gunners if she manages to hit the ground running.

Morgan is also recognized as an author, a graduate in political economy and the face of women’s football in the States. She is easily the most beloved player of all, becoming a symbol for combating sexism in the sport.

Fans have reacted very positively to the Lilywhites’ newest signing as they welcomed the player to the London based club over on Twitter.

A few days back Reliance Jio revised its all Jio Fiber plans, removing all the data caps all the plans, on paper, are described as ‘Truly Unlimited’. Along with the data rates, the pricing also reduced starting from Rs.399 only excluded GST.

After the announcement, it comes to know that Jio has the commercial use policy that reduces the internet speed down after crossing a certain amount of data. Hope you are getting what the limit is for Jio Fiber. Yes, its 3,300 GB or 3.3TB. After that, the speed will be reduced to 1Mbps. It’s obvious that 3.3TB is a huge amount of data to consume in a month with regular usage but still, there is a cap.

Though the cap increases in higher plans starting from Diamond+ which costs Rs.2,499 and provides 500Mbps of speed. In this plan, the cap is of 4,000GB. Next, the last and highest Titanium plan with Rs.8,499 cost and 1Gbps of speed comes with 15,000GB of limit.

Twitter has made the logo of each IPL team into Twitter emojis and has made hashtags with it. The fans can now show their support for their IPL teams by tweeting with the hashtags.

Nvidia to purchase UK’s Arm Holdings for $40bn

SoftBank is reportedly trying to sell UK’s Arm Holdings to US chip company Nvidia. The bidding price is said to be more than $40bn. Sources claim that a cash-and-stock take over by Nvidia may be announced as soon as Monday. This will make SoftBank the largest shareholder in the US chip company.

News of the deal began making rounds in July earlier and was reported that Nvidia was the only suitor for the SoftBank. If the deal receives a greenlit, it will be one of the largest deals ever in the chip sector.

ARM is semiconductor and software design company wholly owned by Japanese conglomerate SoftBank Group and its Vision Fund.

It’s not just any small brand. The company’s chip power mobile device processors for companies including Apple, Samsung, and Qualcomm. The value of ARM chips has only gone up in recent times. Nvidia is currently the worlds leading GPU maker. But it does not have a market share when it comes to the CPU design. With the acquisition of ARM, Nvidia is likely to enter the CPU market in the coming future.

Demands for ARM-based chipsets have been increasing in mobile devices, data centers, and personal computers including Apple’s Mac and Microsofts Surface. With its 6nm chipset designs set to revolutionize the Chromebook market and ARM is not just any small player in the chipset market.

Nvidia recently overtook Intel in becoming the world’s most valuable chipmaker. ARM would transform Nvidia’s product line up completely. The company has only focused on providing powerful graphics processors that are designed to handle focused, data-intensive tasks.

This deal will make Nvidia the centre of Semiconductor industry.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 pricing, availability, and repairing in India revealed

Almost two weeks ago, Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold2 with the pricing and pre-orders of this cutting-edge foldable flagship. But the company hasn’t revealed anything for the Indian market. Tipsters have calculated the retail pricing of this phone in India that is INR 1,49,999 (Directly converted from $2,000 mark). According to Samsung, the pre-orders of this phone will start from September 14 and the first units should start shipping from September 26.

The company has also revealed the price of the other accessories of this phone, and Indian pricing calculation has been made through it: Aramid Standing Cover for INR 4,799 ($65) and the Leather Cover for INR 5,999 ($82). In terms of the accessories, the Indian buyers might actually be getting a slightly better deal.

As per reports, there will be no pre-order offers on the Z Fold2, specific to the Indian market. But the twist is, the Indian buyers will be getting the complimentary Samsung Care Plus one-year protection plan with the purchase of a Z Fold2. This facility should cover any accidental damage to the Z Fold2 (physical or liquid) for the first year, one-time repair cost INR 10,999 ($150).

We all know what’s going to happen to TikTok after September 15 if they don’t hand over their US operations to any homegrown business and for those of them who don’t have any idea, The Trump administration passed an executive order last month that it will be banning TikTok in the United States over the security concerns but TikTok can be saved from this ban if they sell their US business to any American company and several bidders have come into light such as Microsoft, Oracle, and even Twitter has expressed its interest in purchasing TikTok’s US operations but till now we don’t have a name.

Well, China wants to keep it like this since a recent report from Reuters suggests that Chinese authorities believe that selling even US’ operations of TikTok after a forced ban threat from the White House would reflect China as a weak country and according to few unknown sources that can’t be afforded and the Chinese administration would prefer closing down the app instead of bowing down in front of the United States.

Not only this but there are high chances that China can block the deal on their end in accordance with a recent revision to the list of technology exports that will prevent TikTok’s recommendation algorithm from crossing the borders and it seems like TikTok and the potential buyers have kept this in mind so according to sources they are actively looking out for another way to get around this.

TikTok is surely not having the best year just like us since its getting outrage from every country over its security concern and its relations to Chinese authorities but TikTok even tried to clear out the air after the India ban but it didn’t help it a much then CEO Kevin Mayer left the company over the political issues and now this ban in the US is hovering above its head so this all looks like the end of TikTok in the west but who knows what is going to happen so it will be best to wait till September 15.

If China is so against the purchase of TikTok US’ operation by an American company then it seems highly unlikely that they’ll be approving its sale to an Indian company since the relation between the India and China has not been the best since last few months so chances are high that TikTok might not be coming back to India soon or maybe never.

The day that almost all PlayStation fabs have been waiting for has finally arrived as Sony will be launching its next-gen gaming console on 16th September. Announced via its official blog, Sony will be hosting the event from 1:00 PM PDT and they have written:

“Before PlayStation 5 launches this holiday, we wanted to give you one more look at some of the great games coming to PS5 at launch (and beyond!).

Our next digital showcase will weigh in at around 40 minutes, and feature updates on the latest titles from Worldwide Studios and our world-class development partners.”

Sony reveals the futuristic PS5 officially

Apart from announcing the game that are coming to PS5, we could expect Sony to announce the pricing of the next-gen consoles as Microsoft has amazed the world with both of its Xbox Series S and Series X at an attractive pricing of $299 and $499. So, Sony can actually take a price cut to counter Xbox somehow and bring more exclusive games as well.

Already, Sony have given a chance to their existing users with ‘US-based address’ to pre-order and reserve a PS5 console as Sony claims there’s a limited quantity of PS5 available. However, it will be interesting to see how Sony counters Microsoft’s lucrative Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox All Access program on 16th September.

Folding iPhones are now one step closer to reality

As we know Apple’s quite busy with iPhone 12 lineup but that doesn’t mean that they are not keeping up with the trend or even looking news these days or if you’re thinking they are just working on this year’s iPhone then my friend you’re wrong as Apple has been working on the folding iPhone something similar to Samsung’s Fold Z.

According to a tipster named IceUniverse, Apple is currently in talks with Samsung to supply a large number of sample units of foldable phone screens and “hopes to exclusively supply the amount for one year”. Well, this means only one thing that Apple is currently experimenting with the foldable since a folding iPhone is far from reality as of now.

According to various sources, Apple is currently toying around with the design and nothing is final as of now and they are not even sure whether it should be even released or not. Two patents have been leaked so far which visualizes the folding iPhone idea into two totally different ways. In one of the patents, it is being shown as two displays stuck together with a hinge something like Surface Duo while in the other one it has a design similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold.

Earlier this year, Jon Prosser has also shared a bit about the folding iPhone which sounded much like the first prototype the one like Surface Duo but they aren’t exactly like that as he describes it to be continuous and seamless.

One thing we know for sure is that Apple won’t be releasing any product till its perfect whether its a normal iPhone or a folding one and current news only suggests that Apple is just exploring the possibilities and a tech giant like Apple is known for experimenting years before even the device gets to see the light so we will suggest you to not get happy and wait for a year or two to see it happening in real.
