Redmi K40 series coming on February 25

Finally, the Redmi K40 series is going for the long-awaited official launch in China. Xiaomi has revealed the launch date of the Redmi K40 series which is on February 25. The series is expected to have three models and it will initially debut in China followed by the global launch.

The company has promised to deliver a brand new design and claims it to be a “very very beautiful” device. Some notable changes have in the device will occur as mentioned y the company where the smallest punch-hole will be one of them.

The official poster reveals the black retail box design and we are still unaware of the company will include the charger in the box. The Redmi K40 series will have a Pro model that will be equipped with Snapdragon 888 SoC and the vanilla version might get the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset or a Snapdragon 700 series chipset. Charger in the box or not, stereo speakers were assured by the company.

As per some leaks, the Pro model of the series could be priced around 2,999 Yuan (~$464). The battery of the devices will be in the 4,000mAh segment. The pricing of all the other devices in the series has not been revealed yet but we can expect the vanilla version to be priced around 2,000 Yuan (~$310).

Xiaomi Mi 11 was launched in the last week of 2020. You can read about the specs of the smartphone here. Now the tech giant has set 13 new DisplayMate Records. These records include the highest native colour gamut, highest contrast ratio, and highest visible screen resolution. The Chinese variant which was launched earlier came in 8GB RAM and 12GB RAM variants.

But the global launch had only 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM but with both the storage options of 128 GB and 256 GB. The front screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus whereas the rear side of the phone has Gorilla Glass 5. The list of DisplayMate records we were talking about is shown below in the image.

Mi TV Q1 75” comes with 192 zones of full array dynamic local dimming, thus offering, a contrast ratio of 10,000:1. This Xiaomi TV gives you a robust refresh rate of 120 Hz. Dolby AudioTM improves the audio aspects of the TV.

The sound system comprises of 30W stereo speaker with six units; two tweeters and four woofers. It has the feature to work with both, Google Assistant support and Amazon Alexa. It comes at a retail price of EUR 1,299. A limited number of TVs are reserved for early booking. They will be offered at a discount price of EUR 999 on the first day of sale.

The Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2 Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team Edition was launched today. It will have design elements from Mercedes-AMG and utilize Xiaomi’s scooter engineering. As compared to Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2, it includes an extended range of 45km. The top speed of the scooter will be 25km/h. To help move on hill roads, it can climb 20% up. It supports a 300W robust motor, double braking system and shock-absorbing pneumatic tires. To better safety aspects, the headlights can be illuminates up to 10 meters ahead. It comes for EUR 799.

Tickets for the second Test which will begin from February 13 to 17, will be on sale from February 8, Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) Secretary R S Ramaswamy said on Sunday.

He further added that almost 15,000 tickets will go on sale and will be only available in online mode. The ongoing opening Test between India and Australia, the first international game in India since the COVID-19 outbreak, is currently being played in Chennai behind closed doors.

Also, the media, who were not given the permission entry for the series, for the opening Test, would be given entry to cover the second. The three stands  MA Chidambaram Stadium have a maximum capacity of 12,000 with each of them having three stands with a capacity of 4,000 seats apiece.

Derrick Rose will be reuniting with former head coach Tom Thibodeau as he returns to the New York Knicks. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Detroit Pistons came to an agreement, on Sunday afternoon, to trade Rose to the Knicks in exchange for Dennis Smith Jr. and a 2021 second-round pick.

Rose had sat out the last few games for the Pistons and on Saturday night the news came out that he and the organization had decided that a trade was in their mutual best interests.

Dennis Smith Jr., the No. 9 pick of the 2017 draft, has appeared in just three games this season. In 2019-20, he made 34 appearances and averaged 5.5 points with a woeful 39.9 shooting percentage. He has greatly struggled this season for New York. So much so that he asked for a G League assignment to get minutes and reps. With the Pistons, he may not need such an assignment.

The Knicks, meanwhile, are a few games under .500, but that is much better than what anyone expected, and also has them in place to chase one of the last playoff spots in the Eastern Conference. Entering Sunday, they were in seventh place and only 1.5 games behind the fifth position. This deal is a clear signal that they’re desperate to snap their postseason drought, which dates back to 2013.

This trade seems like a clear win for the Detroit Pistons. They were nearing an important deadline for Rose. They had gotten him for a favourable price in the 2019 offseason, signing him to a two-year, $15 million contract, and the clock was running.

Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal is the biggest star who could be considered available. Amazon Fire TV has a lot of benefits and one of those major benefits is that you can very easily record your screen. This is quite a troublesome process if you own an Android TV. If you planning to get Amazon Fire TV or if you already have it and want to record your screen, this is what you have to do.

Step 1:

Take the aid of voice assistant ‘Alexa’ by tapping on the Alexa button on your TV remote. Speak “Screen Recorder” and you will be taken to a page where you have to download an application. The application page will look like shown below. Click on install.

Open the application and click on “Start Recorder”. The default setting starts recording at FHD resolution.

You will see a prompt box asking your permission to start recording. Click on “Start Now”.

As you move scroll through, your screen will be recorded. One thing to remember is that you cannot record audio or DRM-protected content that is present in the apps like Netflix or even Amazon Prime Video.

Once you are done with your screen recording, open the same app which you installed and click on “Stop Recorder”. The screen will look like shown below.

Your video has been recorded. Now you can transfer it to your smartphone or computer. To transfer, you will be required to install the “Send Files to TV” (SFTTV) app. Tap on the “Alexa” button on your remote again. Speak “Send files to the TV app.” The app page will show up. Install the app.

Step 7

Similarly, you will be required to download the same app on your smartphone or computer. You can easily install it as it is available on Android, Windows, and macOS.

Make sure that both of your devices, smartphone, and TV, are connected to a common WiFi network.

Step 9
