Metro Exodus PC Enhanced Edition, which is a new Metro Exodus edition, is coming in this week with some features like NVIDIA DLSS 2.0 and more.

This Spring, a new edition of the game is going to release, which will receive improved ray tracing support, as the developer wanted to bring a full ray-traced experience, and that’s why the engine was radically overhauled.

As per Steam:

“When Metro Exodus released two years ago, it was one of the first games to feature Ray Tracing (on high-end PC only) thanks to NVIDIA’s new RTX series of graphics cards, although we still utilized many more traditional rendering techniques for console and older PC graphics cards.”

“But with Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 consoles offering RayTracing support, we took the decision to radically overhaul our proprietary 4A Engine and realize our ambitions for a fully Ray Traced experience on next-gen consoles and high-end PC.”

Metro Exodus PC Enhanced Edition performs better on high-end PC hardware. Steam described the Enhanced Edition:

“For PC players, we’re taking advantage of our new Fully Ray Traced Lighting Pipeline and the latest GPU-capable hardware from NVIDIA and AMD to offer the ultimate Ray Traced experience – the Metro Exodus PC Enhanced Edition.”

4A Games and Deep Silver have declared the first details of the Metro Exodus Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PlayStation 5 upgrade. The game can be enjoyed at 4K, 60 FPS on Xbox Series X and PlayStation5, featuring Ray Traced Emissive Lighting and ray tracing global illumination.

Metro Exodus PC Enhanced Edition and the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation5 versions are going to release this year.

Long has been the time since we used physical SIMs for our communication purposes. Currently, manufacturers like Apple, Samsung, Google, and Motorola support their devices for eSIMs. And it seems like Indian vendors are already prepared to provide their subscribers with the eSIM services.

Here is how users can convert their physical SIMs to eSIMs:

By sending an SMS from the device having active Jio SIM and complete the profile configuration process on the eSIM device, Jio users can covert their physical SIM to eSIM or transfer Jio eSIM from one device to another device.

The compatible devices listed on Jio’s FAQ are:

  • Apple is iPhone Xs
  • iPhone XS Max
  • iPhone 11
  • iPhone 11 Pro
  • iPhone 11 Pro Max
  • iPhone SE 92nd generation
  • iPhone 12 Mini

Airtel users can convert their physical SIM to eSIM by sending an SMS eSIM registered email id to 121.

  • If the email ID is valid, users will receive an SMS from 121 confirming the initiation of the process. Users will have to reply with “1” to confirm the eSIM change request within 60 seconds. Once users with a valid email get the confirmation, they will have to confirm the call, failing which the SIM change request will get canceled, according to Airtel.
  • Users will then receive a QR code on their email ID. They will have to scan this QR code to get their eSIM activated, which takes two hours. At this time, their physical SIM will remain activated.
  • Apple users can scan the QR code by clicking on “Settings” –> Select “Mobile Data” –> Click on “Add Data Plan” –> “Scan QR code” received on mail –> Label eSim.


Vi postpaid users also have to follow a similar process and are required to send an SMS to initiate the activation process:

  • Users need to SMS eSIM registered email id to199.
  • Users with a valid email ID will receive a confirmation SMS. Reply with “ESIMY” to confirm the eSIM change request.
  • After providing their consent on the call, users will receive a final SMS regarding the QR Code which you will receive on your registered email ID.
  • Click on “Settings” > Select “Network & Internet” > Click on “Mobile Network” > Click on “Download a SIM instead” > Click on “Next”
  • Scan QR code received on mail and follow prompts on the phone.

That’s it, you will get to enjoy the eSIM services facility on your devices.

PlayStation 5 is now out in the market for few months, but finally, now, a die shot of the next-generation console has been published. @FritzchensFritz is the person who uploaded the die shots on Twitter and regularly shared GPU and processor die shots. He now hopes that he will get a better short-wave infrared image of the PlayStation 5’s die up very soon.

Some previously unknown details are disclosed from the pictures that are uploaded. Meanwhile, Sony and AMD claim that the console features the former’s RDNA 2 architecture, the die seems to have separate cache modules, which would suggest no support for Infinity Cache. According to some rumors, both the next-gen consoles would support Infinity Cache, but it seems neither of them does support it.

AMD claims that Infinity Cache can deliver up to 3.25x the effective bandwidth of 256-bit Gbps GDDR6 VRAM. AMD came up with the value with a Radeon RX 6000 series GPU and 128 MB of Infinite Cache.

The die shots are now available on the internet and people are debating what RDNA 2 features Sony has cut from its die. It seems like Sony has taken out some Fused Multiply-Add (FMA) and Fixed Function Units (FFU), for example. The gap between the cache segments confirms that the console doesn’t support Infinity Cache.

The images shared by @FritzchensFritz also reiterate that Sony applies the liquid metal to the die of PlayStation 5. Sony has used some kind of protection around the SoC to block any liquid metal from seeping onto the motherboard.
