Sergio Ramos becomes the highest-goal scoring defender in LaLiga history

0

Sergio Ramos is one of the most dominating defenders on the pitch. He is a leader who leads from the front! A defenders job is to defend, in that area, Ramos isn’t far behind from anyone. He is one of the top defenders in the world. Along with defending, if a defender can score goals at will then it’s a bonus. Not many defenders can boast Ramos’ goalscoring ability.

After the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, the penalty kick responsibility has been taken by Sergio Ramos. He has taken 17 penalties for Los Blancos and surprisingly has only missed one, which is an incredible stat!

If you think that Ramos takes penalties that’s why he scores goals on a regular occasion, then you’re wrong. His most important goal came in 2014 Champions League final against city rivals Atletico Madrid in the 92nd minute. Real were losing the match 1-0, when Ramos came up with that magical header to take the game into extra time and finally winning the 10th Champions League trophy.

On Sunday, Real Madrid was up against Real Sociedad. They needed to win the match to go on top of the LaLiga table as Barcelona dropped 2 points against Sevilla. Vinicius was fouled inside the penalty box in the 50th minute. Ramos coolly slotted the ball home to give Madrid a 1-0 lead.

Ramos was tied with Barcelona’s Ronald Koeman on 67 LaLiga goals. But with the strike against Real Sociedad, Ramos surpassed Koeman to become the highest-goal scoring defender in LaLiga history with 68 goals. His first La Liga goal for Los Blancos was way back in 2005 when he scored away to Malaga in a 2-0 victory.

He is also in his joint-most prolific campaign in La Liga. He has scored his 7th goal of the season against Sociedad.

But sadly, Ramos historic day didn’t end well as he clashed knee-to-knee with Sociedad striker Isak. He was unable to continue the match and had to be substituted. Zidane told after the match: “Right now it hurts a lot but that’s just the bang I think. That’s the good news but we’ll see. Right now it hurts a lot.”

Ramos is a warrior so he would definitely come back stronger in the next match.

HRX X-Pulse 4S with Ear Grip Technology Bluetooth Headset is in for Review

0

HRX X-Pulse 4S with Ear Grip Technology Bluetooth Headset launched on 19th June and was on sale the same day from 12 PM onwards. This headphone sold pretty well and it gets delivered in 1 or 2 days within the metro cities. HRX has launched 4 audio wearable devices on 19th June among which HRX X-Pulse 4S is the cheapest among them. This Bluetooth earphone from HRX just costs Rs.999 which can probably be the best pic under Rs.1,000 price range in India.

Specifications of HRX X-Pulse 4S

  • Headphone design: Ear clip
  • Bluetooth version: 5.0
  • Sweatproof: Yes
  • Water-resistant: Yes (IPX5 water-resistant)
  • Battery: 100mAh
  • Impedance: 16 Ohm
  • Playtime: 8 Hours
  • Charging time: 2 Hours
  • Microphone: Yes
  • In-line remote: Yes

Design and Controls

The HRX X-Pulse 4S has an Ear Grip mechanism that allows the headphone to stay and fit properly in the ear. The earpiece of the earphone is relatively large in size and needs a few adjustments to fit in the ear. Except that, there are power and volume control switches placed near the right earpiece. A mini LED indicator is there to indicate the power on/off signal. There is a wire adjusting clip with which you can adjust the length of the wire at back. There is a micro-USB port to charge this earphone.

Now coming to the controls, you get a separate volume up and volume down button with a power button in the middle. To power, on the device, you have to place and hold the power button for less than five seconds and you will hear power on audio and the LED lights will start blinking blue and red. The volume up and down buttons can also be used to change music by just pressing the up button to go to the next music and the down button will lead you to the previous song.

In the Box

  1. The HRX X-Pulse 4S earphone
  2. Short micro-USB cable
  3. 2 pairs of adjustable earbuds
  4. Parer works

Comfort and Usage

To say honestly the ear grip design is not at all helpful because the ear grip is just very soft to stay in its place. The wires are very thin and the whole earphone seems to have a very cheap built quality at a very first impression. The plus point in this earphone is that it is IPX5 water-resistant and sweat resistant as well. It is perfect while working out as the sweats won’t matter even if the earphone is on.

This HRX X-Pulse 4S earphone takes almost a little more than 2 hours to charge fully from 0 to 100 percent. The exact playback time of this earphone is around somewhere around 7 to 7.5 hours on an average. The run time is mentioned 8 hours and it only stays for that time if it’s kept idle just after pairing with a device. On average if you play any song at full volume it lasts a little more than 6 hours or 6.5 hours to be exact.

It gives a very slight delay while playing online games which can be overlooked but it is not at all comfortable while playing games or listening to music for a long time. this earphone gives a voice indication while powering on as well as powering off (when charge remains), pairing device, and battery low.

Audio Quality

The audio quality of the HRX X-Pulse 4S Bluetooth earphone is moderate. The highs are very high pitched while the lows are not up to the mark. When the volume is 100% the sound has a high pitch effect. The 16 Ohm impedance is quite good as the sound goes very high when at 100%.

Pros and Cons

ProsCons
Light weightNot comfortable in ear

All you need to know about the new iOS 14

Apple has brought a bunch of new changes for you iPhone users in its latest iOS 14, from UI changes to Siri, we will cover all of them. Apple has taken a lot of inspiration from Google as well and made few things that Google cannot even think of, so lets get to all of these new features.

UI changes

These are basically the core changes made to the UI of the new iOS 14:

All you need to know about the new iOS 14

App Library

The first change you’ll notice is to the home screen which gets inspiration from Android, the App library will sort apps according to their genre automatically.

App Libary is basically a bunch of folders that auto-populate. You can find a search field at the top, a recently added folder, and a folder of suggestions of apps you might want to use next. Basically, the new App Library organizes apps in one easy view at the end of your pages.

All you need to know about the new iOS 14

Widgets

Another inspiration taken from Android this time as Apple is including a bunch of widgets to re-think your homescreen. Like swipping left we get Google Home, so there will be a Today View page that will use AI to generate your feed with weather, news, upcoming events and other stuff.

The widgets are to the left of the home screen and can be dragged to home screen as well, these come in a variety of sizes. Actually there’s a Widget Gallery that lets you choose your widget according to your needs and resize it as well. You can add widgets to a “smart stack” that changes throughout the day.

The Smart Stack lets you have a gallery of widgets which you can change accordingly and it automatically changes itself to the preferred widget according to time.

All you need to know about the new iOS 14

PIP

Also, there’s a picture-in-picture video feature which lets you play videos and even play it in the background when you are doing other stuff. It can also be resized and moved around. This is an Android feature which we do love and now makes its way to iOS.

Siri

For Siri, Apple has a little circle appearing over the regular UI, and it can throw up widgets when you ask for the weather. Apple says Siri now has 20x more facts than three years ago. You can now use Siri to send an audio message and Siri will start recording. The Keyboard dictation uses the same dictation as Siri, but it now runs on-device.

Siri looks to catch up with Google Assistant as it can be used as a universal translator as it supports more languages and can be used as a Side-by-side translate feature that lets two people have a conversation in two different languages. The UI looks clean and perfect, great handy feature added to iOS this time.

Messages

In the message app, you can now pin conversations so they stay at the top, helpful when talking with someone important. Memojis show up in the messages panel as well.

Apple has refined the messaging experience as they’ve added in-line replies to let you reply to a specific message, great for group chats. You can even mention specific people by just typing the name and he or she will be alerted. Also, there’s a new design to the group conversations.

All you need to know about the new iOS 14

Apple Maps

Apple is trying hard to make Apple Maps more worthwhile and accurate like the Google Maps and their goals are finding new places and finding better and more environmentally friendly ways to get around.

Guides will be coming to Apple Maps, curated by real people. Guides automatically update when new things are added and you’ll get to see instantly. Apple is catching up with Google as cycling directions will be coming to Maps.

All you need to know about the new iOS 14

Also, there will be a dedicated cycling option that allows users to ride on bike lanes, paths, and roads. It even includes elevation data, stairs, elevation, traffic. But sadly, thee feature is limited to few specific cities and regions only as of now. Like Google Maps, Apple is adding congestion and green zones to maps, along with alternate routing options.

All you need to know about the new iOS 14

EV Routing

A new feature called EV routing coming for electric cars. iOS 14 can even track current charge, factor in elevation and weather, add chargers along your route. Working with BMW and Ford to support EV routing, adding more in the future.

Drivers in China can store license plate number on phone, Maps will let them know when they are allowed to enter congestion zones.

Improved CarPlay

As 97% of cars in US, and 80% of cars worldwide use CarPlay, Apple is improving it as well, CarPlay gets new wallpapers and new app categories: EV charging is one of them.

Your iPhone can even be used as a car key, thanks to the built-in U1 chip on iPhones. 2021 BMW 5 series will be the first car to support it. Just your iPhone to unlock door, and place phone on charging pad to enable car start button. Interestingly, you can even share your keys from wherever you are via iMessage.

All you need to know about the new iOS 14

App Clip

Have you ever thought about instant Apps? The App Clips are basically little pop-up apps that let you do things like unlock parking, pay for coffee, etc, without even downloading the app.

“An app clip is a small part of an app, it’s light and fast and easy to discover.” So, if you have a quick task to do but you do not want to download the app, the App Clip will help you next time. App Clips can be used with Apple Pay and Sign in With Apple, so no need for accounts and so on.

App Clips live in the App Library and requires less than 10 MB in size. You can get help from web, messages, maps, tap on NFC tags, scan QR codes and much more. The best possible way is to use a new Apple-designed App Clip code with visual code and NFC.

To activate the XiaoAI assistant, you need to use the red key dedicated under the scroll. You can directly give commands in your voice through it. For example, if you say “Computer Shutdown”, it starts the process by itself.

You can also take advantage of the assistant while typing. It will take the voice as input and will type that for you. The translation from Chinese to English, Japanese, and Korean is also supported.

Two more interesting things are there in the connectivity section. Firstly, you will get both wired and wireless connectivity options. You can use the mouse by connecting it with the computer via the Type-C cable and also can use the Bluetooth 5.0 to go wireless. Secondly, it can be connected to two different computers at the same time. For switching the access, you only need to long-press the right or left click button.

Unfortunately, it’s not a global launch. The smart mouse is available only in China through the official website. The retail price is 149 yuan, but currently, it is on offer at 129 yuan.

Apple still ahead of Google when it comes to new OS adoption

WWDC 2020 is few hours away where iOS 14 will officially be announced, so how about a quick look on how many Apple devices which run on the latest iOS 13?

According to the Apple developer webpage, 92% of the iPhones launched in last 4 years are running on iOS 13 while 7% of the iPhones launched in last 4 years are still running on iOS 12 and only 2% run on an older iOS version.

One of the key reasons why Apple has so many updated iOS devices because people get more updates actually, because we see 81% of the iPhones that were release even 4 years ago run on the latest iOS 13 which is pretty great. Whereas only 13% of them run on iOS 12 and just 6% have an earlier version of iOS.

Even though Google releases latest Android OS every year but the problem being as Android OS is open source is used by a lot of OEMs, it totally depends on them if they want to push an update or not. Naturally only 2 years of updates are provided by almost all OEMs on Android smartphones although there are few exceptions while Google Pixel smartphones get yearly updates with new release.

But Apple is far ahead in this competition, apart from iPhones, even 93% iPad users, launched in last 4 years, use the latest iPadOS and 5% of them continue using the iOS 12 and 1% having previous versions of iOS. This figure in January 2020 was 77% of iPhones were using iOS 13 while 79% of iPads had the latest iPadOS.

Soon iOS 14 will be unveiled stay tuned to know more details about it.
