Recently, I got the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 powered by Ryzen 9 4900HS and RTX 2060 Max-Q to test, and I also did a performance benchmark of the laptop and promised the gaming tests as well. So, having played a lot of games for a week now, I have shared the test results in this article.

Although the laptop has aged quite some time if you get a deal on this gaming laptop, then that could be a lucrative deal for you. The Ryzen 9 4900HS is an 8 core, 16 threaded processors with 3.0GHz base clock speed and up to 4.3GHz boost clock speed, drawing a lower 35W TDP.

It also comes paired with 16 GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q 6GB GDDR6 GPU. This, on paper, is a sick combo that can not only excel in gaming as well as productivity, considering you get a 14-inch 120Hz FHD IPS-level panel with Adaptive-Sync technology and excellent colour accuracy.

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 is a sleek gaming laptop but a good performer overall as well as a great for productivity. So, here are the gaming benchmarks tested with latest Windows 10 drivers, NVIDIA and AMD drivers:

Triple-A games

ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 gaming benchmarks: Still remains a gaming champ — Battlefield V

Gaming on the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 is just amazing experience, however, because of its slim design it does generate heat, but the cooling is very efficient. The RTX 2060 Max-Q is still great one to handle medium to high-end gaming without any difficulty. However, ray tracing performance is still not up to the mark, but games that do support DLSS gives great gaming experience.

eSports

The eSports gaming is flawless on this laptop and shines in almost all games at the highest quality. All of the modern eSports games run well without any hiccups, ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 with Ryzen 9 4900HS and RTX 2060 Max-Q is still a great contender for modern gaming!
