Making laptops by Smartphone companies has become a habit for major Chinese OEMs, Xiaomi already has a great laptop portfolio along with Huawei. Xiaomi already introduced with its gaming laptops earlier and soon Huawei and its sub-brand Honor is to follow Xiaomi’s path.
Honor sub-brand focusses more on the budget side like Xiaomi’s Redmi and it seems Huawei will be launching gaming notebooks via its sub-brand Honor. A new report suggests that the gaming notebook may be launched as soon as this month.
Well, according to a blogger on Weibo, a Chinese microblogging website, the gaming laptop from Honor could arrive in the market by August or even July at the earliest. The blogger (@长安数码君) also went on to say that Huawei will also launch its own gaming laptop not too long after Honor’s release.
Both Huawei and Honor offer lightweight and thin ultrabooks, but with this rumour, both these brands will officially mark its debut into gaming laptops. Obviously, these gaming laptops should feature the latest 10th Gen Intel Comet Lake-H and AMD Ryzen 4000H gaming processors.
Nothing any specific details regarding the design or specifications of the upcoming gaming laptops are currently known. Most likely we will likely see NVIDIA graphics in these gaming laptops, but with more specific details we will bring more info.
