Metro Exodus PC Enhanced Edition will support Ray Tracing and NVIDIA DLSS 2.0

NVIDIA has been on a marathon to add new games to its increasing DLSS and Ray tracing library, thus helping to enhance game graphics without affecting performance.

So, the new game which is going to be supercharged by NVIDIA’s DLSS 2.0 is the new Metro Exodus PC Enhanced Edition which you enjoy ay superior graphics quality with RTX on. Here’s the official NVIDIA announcement:

Today NVIDIA released a Game Ready Driver for the Metro Exodus PC Enhanced Edition, a new version of the free game to all owners of the original release. Metro Exodus PC Enhanced Edition updates the game with NVIDIA DLSS 2.0 while adding new ray tracing features to the post-apocalyptic, first-person shooter.

The Best Metro Exodus Yet: Enhanced Ray Tracing and Upgraded with NVIDIA DLSS 2.0

Metro Exodus was a flagship title for real time ray tracing, using the then-new technology for global illumination to stunning effect, dramatically raising the immersion of the horror shooter. 

On May 6th, developer 4A Games will launch Metro Exodus PC Enhanced Edition, which adds additional ray-traced effects and updates NVIDIA DLSS 2.0 for greater performance and improved image quality. 

New, advanced ray-traced effects featured in the Metro Exodus PC Enhanced Edition includes advanced ray-traced reflections, improved ray-traced global illumination, and the introduction of ray-traced emissive lighting – previously seen exclusively in The Two Colonels DLC.

The Metro Exodus PC Enhanced Edition runs exclusively on any ray tracing-capable GPU and is available for free to all Metro Exodus owners on the Epic Games Store, Steam, GoG, and the Microsoft Store, and offered as a separate version.

More Game Ready Goodies and Upgrades

Other features of the new Game Ready driver that should not be overlooked include:

  • Delivers the best experience in Mass Effect Legendary Edition, launching May 14th, and Resident Evil Village, launching May 7th
  • Support for 5 new G-SYNC Compatible displays, including AOC’s 24G2W1G8 and AG274US4R6B; Asus XG349C, Philips 279M1RV and Samsung LC27G50A.
  • Optimized playable settings for games, including Iron Conflict and Teamfight Manager
