LG is exiting Mobile manufacturing, may confirm next week

A recent report has come out from LG saying that the Korean giant is finally closing its smartphone manufacturing business in the upcoming week. However, earlier this year, a similar kind of report has been spread out over the internet, but at that time, LG had denied that. Later, it has been getting cleared that LG is all set to pull out its smartphone business very soon.

As of now, LG has produced a big number of smartphones, innovative smartphones, but in the future, the Korean giant seems to give its full concentration on its other devices apart from smartphones.

The exact reason for this has not been confirmed yet. But as per some recent saying of the board, LG has been facing big losses regarding smartphone manufacturing and selling all over the world. The report has specifically mentioned the date of the announcement, Monday, April 5. So, from that day, LG will not manufacture any of its smartphones further and we’re not going to make a buy of an LG smartphone in the future.

If we go into this matter deeply, we can find there has to be some kind of employee sacking for closing the mobile division of LG. But a recent report says that LG is planning to move its 4000 mobile division workers to its Changwon home appliance factory which is a good step from LG. The last exciting smartphone, we’ve received from LG is the LG Wing, a mechanical smartphone with dual-display. But it seems like we’re never going to see any rollable or any other innovative smartphone from LG for the global market.
