Nothing Ear(1) TWS earbuds finally listed on StockX, reveals a transparent design

Nothing will launch its Nothing ear(1) earbuds later this month as the first product from Carl Pei’s new startup. The wireless buds will ship in a transparent design, something that has not been seen before. Ahead of the buds release, we look at a new render that showcases the charging case of the device.

This particular image is sourced from StockX, an online marketplace that began as a site to sell sneakers. Nothing partnered with them to sell 100 units via the platform’s DropX auction.

The highest bid currently is €437 which is nearly four times the €99 price tag it is going to sell for when it launches on the 27th of July.

The case of the Nothing ear(1) earbuds are shaped like a square with rounded corners. The top looks like it is completely see-through and the bottom has some bit of white plastic that covers the internals including the battery. The case has a round button which is most likely for pairing and it features a USB Type-C port next to it.

The magnets that are built into the case are also visible. As of now, we are not sure if the case will support wireless charging as the coil may be buried underneath the opaque white plastic.

The design of the Nothing ear(1) earbuds has gotten mixed reviews so far, it does have everyone talking about it though. The buds will have ANC and each bud will also feature three high-definition microphones!
