The actor described bidding Good Girls farewell after four seasons as “heartbreaking.” At the time, he said, “I think [it was] for everyone, I think for all the women involved.” “Strong women under the direction of a strong female producer, and it got lost in the Hollywood system. And it was very unfortunate.
She asserted, “It’s not coming back because one person ruined it for the entire cast and crew,” in a July 2022 appearance on Live With Kelly and Ryan. “I’m salty, Kelly—trust me!”
The former Parks and Recreation star clarified that a fifth season appeared to be unachievable without the unidentified costar. She pitched her idea for the program, saying, “I think it was a little too close to when [the writers] would have to start [season 5 scripts] and figure out story, so… no.” “I was literally thinking, ‘Well, maybe that person disappeared because there was a bomb scare at one point, and then a bomb actually went off.'”

Matthew Lillard
Lillard returned to voice acting after completing her role as Dean on Scooby-Doo! The Sword and the Scoob, Straight Outta Nowhere: Scooby-Doo! Meets Courage the Cowardly Dog and Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms. The native of Michigan also starred with Addison Rae and Rachael Leigh Cook in He’s All That. Later, he voiced Ghostface in the Stab film Scream 5.
Lillard secured a role in Billions in addition to continuing to voice Shaggy in other Scooby Doo projects on the small screen. He and his wife Heather Helm are parents to three children.
