A pickpocket, a spy, and a man who doesn’t trust her. If you like your romance with a side of danger, tvN’s 100 Days of Deception is shaping up to be your next obsession. Episode 2 airs today, October 11, at 9:10 p.m. KST, and the new stills promise a very tense hour.
100 Days of Deception: Overview
Set during the Japanese occupation of Korea, this period spy romance follows Lee Ga Kyeong (Kim You Jung), a pickpocket who becomes an undercover spy for the independence movement. Her mission puts her inside the Japanese Government-General of Korea, where she gets tangled up with interpreter Kim Tae Woong, who also goes by Sato Hideo (GOT7’s Park Jinyoung). He is the adopted son of the Inspector-General of Korea, the second-highest official in the administration.
In episode 1, a plot to assassinate Sato Shinichi went wrong when Ga Kyeong showed up asking to be paid for bullets she found in a suitcase. A mystery assassin disguised as a cake delivery person then took her hostage, and she quietly told Sato Hideo who he was in English.

What the Episode 2 Stills Reveal?
The new stills show Ga Kyeong looking scared, surrounded by police officers. A gun in Sato Hideo’s hand and a broken window hint at a fierce fight that has just ended. Outside the house, she crouches on the ground as if her legs gave out, and he follows with eyes full of distrust and anger.
That suspicion makes sense. The pickpocket who stole his wallet has reappeared as a live-in maid in the very house his father was invited to. The production team teases that her ties to Sato Hideo and the Yoo siblings will get even more tangled, and that she is now a target of suspicion on her way to becoming a spy for Gugukdan.
Why It’s Worth Watching?
The mix of period drama, spy tension, and a will-they-won’t-they dynamic gives this show real rewatch value. Kim You Jung and Park Jinyoung already have strong chemistry in the stills alone. While you wait for new episodes, you can catch Kim You Jung in the Love in the Moonlight anniversary special and Park Jinyoung in the film Hi-Five, both on Viki.
