We Are All Trying Here Episode Preview: Koo Kyo Hwan, Go Youn Jung, Han Sun Hwa & Sim Hee Sub Dance

Sometimes, the most powerful moments in a K-drama aren’t the dramatic revelations or the tears — they’re the quiet, unguarded ones where characters simply exist together. JTBC’s We Are All Trying Here just gave us one of those moments, and it’s already living rent-free in viewers’ heads.

We Are All Trying Here: Drama at a Glance

What’s Happening in This Episode?

The drama centres on Hwang Dong Man (Koo Kyo Hwan) — a struggling aspiring film director who, surrounded by high-achieving friends, is convinced he’s the only one falling behind in life. It’s a relatable premise, and the show has quietly become one of 2026’s most emotionally honest K-dramas.

In the latest episode, two key bonds deepened significantly. Lee Joon Hwan (Sim Hee Sub) continued to be the one unwavering ally in Dong Man’s corner — the friend who listens without judgment, no matter how long the rant. Meanwhile, Byun Eun Ah (Go Youn Jung) and Jang Mi Ran (Han Sun Hwa) shared a touching moment of vulnerability, with Eun Ah comforting Mi Ran despite carrying her own heavy secret — that she is Oh Jung Hee’s biological daughter.

The Snow Scene Everyone Is Talking About

Newly released stills from the upcoming episode show all four characters gathered at Hwang Dong Man’s home, decorating a small Christmas tree, sharing laughs, drinks, and snacks. It’s cosy, warm, and exactly the kind of scene that reminds you why you fell in love with slice-of-life dramas.

The real magic happens outside, though. Dong Man, Joon Hwan, and Mi Ran dance freely in the falling snow, carefree and childlike, while Eun Ah quietly gazes up at the night sky — a moment full of bittersweet beauty.

The production team shared: the four characters will briefly escape society’s expectations and find solace purely in each other’s company — saying, “I’m happy to have relationships where we can go crazy together.”
