Since the Vivo V29 5G made its debut outside last month, there have been whispers about its release in India. The Vivo V29 5G and Vivo V29 Pro 5G are expected to officially launch later this month. Before they were formally unveiled, the specifications of the unannounced Vivo V-series smartphones had been made public.
Vivo V29 and V29 Pro Indian Variant specifications
The Vivo V29 5G and V29 Pro 5G will both have 3D curved AMOLED panels with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ certification, according to a 91Mobiles report citing industry sources.
According to reports, both versions might provide 80W charging speed and are lightweight with a thin design. The ISOCELL GN5 sensor is expected to be used in the standard V29 5G, while the Sony IMX766 sensor may be used in the V29 Pro 5G.
It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. It sports a triple rear camera system with a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. A 50-megapixel front camera is available for selfies.
The hardware and design of the V29 5G that was previously introduced in a few markets will be carried over to India. It is available in the following color options: Majestic Red, Himalayan Blue, Purple Fairy, and Space Black. Additionally, it comes in three different RAM and storage configurations: 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB.
The global version of the Vivo V29 5G runs Funtouch OS 13 on top of Android 13 and has a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED (1,260×2,800 pixels) display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
