Diwali Buying Guide: Best Ai+ Smartphones and Tablets (2026)

Every Diwali, the same thing happens. The diyas are lit, the rangoli is perfect, and your phone is at 9% battery just as the family photo is about to happen. If that sounds familiar, this festive season might be the right time to upgrade.

Ai+ Smartphone has lined up eight devices across its Nova and Pulse series, covering phones and tablets at different budgets. Here is a simple, no-jargon guide to help you pick.

Why Diwali Is the Right Time to Upgrade?

Diwali is as much about photos, video calls and shared screens as it is about lights. Diwali is celebrated by millions, and that means a lot of memories to capture and share. A good battery, a decent camera and a bright display matter more than a long spec sheet. Festive pricing also tends to make upgrades easier on the wallet. If you want something simple and dependable, the Pulse 2 FE at Rs 8,999 covers the essentials with a 50MP camera and a 120Hz display. Step up to the Nova 2 5G at Rs 11,999 and you get a bigger 6,000mAh battery and 5G.

The Nova 2 Neo 5G at Rs 12,499 is a sensible first 5G phone, thanks to its Sony IMX582 camera sensor. These three suit students, parents or anyone buying a gift without wanting to overspend.

Best for Battery and Performance

The Nova 2 Power 5G is the stamina champion here. Its 7,000mAh battery and 33W fast charging mean it can last through a full day of festive running around. The Nova 2 Pro 5G sits just above it for those who want a snappier, more responsive phone for apps, chats and browsing.

Best for Festive Photography

Group photos in low light are the real test during Diwali. The Nova 2 Ultra 5G is the camera-focused pick, with a 50MP main camera, optical image stabilisation for less blur, and a vivid 1.5K AMOLED display to view your shots. It is the most premium phone in the lineup at Rs 18,999*.

Best Tablets for Family Time

Some moments need a bigger screen. The PulseTab (Rs 12,499*) has a 10.95-inch Full HD display and quad speakers, which is handy for movie nights with the family. The NovaTab 5G (Rs 20,499*) goes bigger with an 11.97-inch display and an 8,000mAh battery, and comes in Dark Blue and Cinnamon Brown.

Both tablets also include front and rear cameras for video calls with relatives who can’t make it home. For more picks like this, browse our gadget and smartphone coverage.

How to Choose the Right One?

Ask yourself three questions: Do I want battery life, camera quality or a big screen? What is my honest budget? Do I need 5G? Match those answers to the table and the choice gets easier. Festive offers are available on Flipkart, so compare final prices there before you buy.
