Tom Holland’s web-slinger is swinging past every box office milestone in sight. “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” continues its dominant run in India, holding strong even on a regular Tuesday — a rare feat for any Hollywood release.
Tuesday Numbers Hold Firm
Spider-Man: Brand New Day grossed Rs. 23.50 crore (Rs. 19.50 crore nett) approx at the Indian box office on Tuesday, maintaining strong collections. That brings its six-day running total to Rs. 347.50 crore (Rs. 287 crore nett) approx, and including 3D charges, the real box office gross stands at Rs. 382 crore approx.
The drop from the previous day was about 15 per cent, which is par for the course for a film having this level of business. Collections are expected to ease off further before stabilising on Thursday, with the first week headed for Rs. 380 crore or so — the real test comes with the second-weekend rebound.

All-Time Blockbuster In Sight
The film is poised to become an all-time blockbuster, joining an elite list of roughly seven films since “Jurassic Park” in 1994 — including “Titanic,” “Avatar,” “The Jungle Book,” “Avengers: Infinity War,” “Avengers: Endgame,” and “Avatar: The Way of Water”. It could even cross 2 crore footfalls, a mark only “Titanic” and “Avengers: Endgame” have hit, with around 1.20 crore tickets sold so far in six days. Fittingly, the film continues the legacy of the Spider-Man franchise’s massive global fanbase.
For now, becoming the highest-grossing Hollywood release in India and crossing Rs. 500 crore look like near-certainties.
