MCU NYCC 2026 Panel: Everything to Expect on October 8 (Daredevil, VisionQuest, X-Men ’97 and More)

Marvel fans, clear your evening. Marvel Television and Marvel Animation are taking the stage at New York Comic-Con with a promise of an inside look at their biggest upcoming Disney+ series. If past years are any guide, expect teasers, surprise guests and at least one jaw-dropping announcement.

Marvel’s NYCC 2026 Panel

Why This Panel Matters?

Marvel’s NYCC presence has a real history. The tradition began in 2014 with the Daredevil cast, then grew with Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and The Defenders. It went quiet for years after those shows ended, then returned in 2025 as a slate walk-through for Disney+ projects. Last year’s panel offered first looks at new seasons and confirmed Jessica Jones in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. It also announced the third seasons of both X-Men ’97 and Born Again.

What Fans Are Hoping to See?

Daredevil: Born Again Season 3. This is the likely headliner. Filming has wrapped, post-production is underway, and it’s confirmed as the final season, so an exclusive teaser seems likely. The dream scenario is the four Defenders (Charlie Cox, Krysten Ritter, Finn Jones and Mike Colter) sharing one stage.

VisionQuest. The show arrives on October 14, just six days after the panel. A fresh trailer or clip could build momentum before its two-episode Disney+ premiere.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2. With a January 2027 release, this one should get plenty of attention. Fans want more story details, the role of the Venom symbiote and where the show fits in the wider Multiverse.

X-Men ’97 Season 3. It’s due in 2027, and San Diego Comic-Con already showed a short clip with the Brotherhood of Mutants facing a Sentinel Variant. Fans hope for a longer look, a release window and answers about Magneto’s return and the Onslaught rumors.

The Wild Card

Keep an eye out for Zodiac, a newly reported mystery project that some see as Marvel’s answer to DC’s Lanterns. If Marvel mentions it, it would signal more original Disney+ content beyond Born Again.

Conclusion

None of this is confirmed beyond the panel’s existence and schedule. The rest is educated speculation based on Marvel’s recent habits. Still, with a final Daredevil season, a major premiere and two animated favorites in play, it’s one of the most promising Marvel events of the fall.
