Honor 9x or Honor 9N (global variant) has a 5.84 inch FHD+ IPS display with a little notch. The widescreen having 79.5% screen-to-body ratio gives enhancement to the view.

The built quality is quite good in Honor 9x or Honor 9N (global variant). It has glass built on its both sides. The cameras at the back are vertically aligned with a flash. At the front,t it has a notch at the top where the secondary camera and sensors and earpiece is located. At the bottom,m there is a speaker, micro USB port, mic and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Colours available are Dream Purple , Bi Yuqing , Magic night black , Charm Blue.

Cameras:

Honor 9x or Honor 9N (global variant) comes with 13MP + 2MP primary cameras. The secondary camera is of 16MP, where both the cameras are loaded with AI features. Being a budget oriented smartphone Honor 9x do not have much of mega-pixels in its primary camera but still the cameras can be up to the mark.

Processor and Storage:

Honor 9x or Honor 9N (global variant) has got its own operating system HiSilicon Kirin 659 chipset which is well comparable to Snapdragon 600 series. This chip-set is nothing that can be ignored. But in the present Honor is competing well against the other smartphones in the market. The GPU Turbo technology that Honor has recently developed helps in a better gaming experience.

Honor 9x or Honor 9N (global variant) is offering 4GB of RAM and the internal storage of this device has two options of 64GB and 128GB. There is no option for expanding its internal memory which is pretty much disappointing in this case, still, those huge memories are more than enough.

Like Xiaomi, Honor also has its own operating system. Honor 9x or Honor 9N (global variant) is using its own operating system which is EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo.

Honor 9x or Honor 9N (global variant) is powered with a 3000 mAh battery. With respect to the spec,s the battery is not that much how everyone has expected. Stil,l Honor claims it will give a 32 hours of stand-by time, which is pretty much satisfying.

Review:

At the very first we can notice its camera features mainly regarding the megapixels. In this price range, other smartphone brands are providing good quality and better cameras especially the primary one. Whereas 13MP + 2MP is not up to the mark for this smartphone. But the secondary camera is of 16MP which is very good. The battery is another issue of this device. 3000 mAh battery is not very much nowadays, which can be a problem for the users. The screen size is not very large which might be helpful for those users who prefer handy and lightweight (152 gram) devices. But the bezels are not so this including the chin which has the brand name in it.

Argentina is done with respect at the 2018 World Cup, and France is moving on. The Europeans earned their first ever victory over the South Americans at a event like the World Cup, beating Lionel Messi and his company 4-3 after trailing 2-1 early in the second half. Against a weak and the oldest squad in the world cup France used its speed and fine finishing for their best attacking display at the cup to the Argentine’s defense, knocking the two-time champs.

Javier Mascherano has officially announced his retirement from international football. “It’s time to say goodbye”, said the 32 years old ex Barcelona star following Argentina’s 4-3 defeat to France.

Mascherano made his international debut for La Albiceleste in 2003 and played 146 games in under 15 years. Making him the highest appearance in the Argentine squad. He said “We gave everything until the end but it wasn’t enough for them to win the match”.

Though Argentina took a 2-1 lead in the second half, it wasn’t going to be enough with an weak defense, as the French team scored three quick goals one by one to put it away. Kylian Mbappe stole the show with two great goals while also winning a penalty kick on the 13 minutes and Antoine Griezmann scored.

But the Argentine responded with a screamer just before the break with a great goal outside the box from Angel Di Maria.

The Argentinian unleashes a rocket from outside of the box to pull them level just before the half. Gabriel Mercado then finished with an un-intentional touch to a shot from Messi to take a surprising 2-1 lead just minutes into the second half.

Then it all went downhill for the Argentine squad. First another screamer from Benjamin Pavard outside the box which nobody expected from a defender who just turned into a midfielder just before this World Cup. Pavard to Di Maria: Anything you can do I can do better!!!

Then seven minutes after that, Mbappe got his first with a nice little finish. He collects the loose ball in the box and fires it into the net to make it 3-2 for . And four minutes later on the counter, the 19-year-old gets his second of the game to put France up 4-2.

And that ends Argentina’s World Cup in a peaceful way, by getting destroyed in defense and making mistakes. The win moves France into the quarterfinals, where they’ll face either Portugal or Uruguay in the next stage of the knock out.

After winning the first match of the 2 t20 match series, India started experimenting their bench strength. While Dinesh Karthik & Lokesh Rahul were given chances, M S Dhoni was spotted as a waterboy.

Chinaman spinner Kuldeep Yadav took 3 wickets. Siddarth was the most economic bowler with an economy of 2.He gave only 4 runs in 2 overs. Chahal took 3 & Umesh took 2 wickets. Hardik & Siddarth took 1 each.

There was no Irish batsmen who could cross the score of 20. Ireland was of no match to India.

2014 World Champions GERMANY is eliminated in the group stages of the 2018 FIFA World Cup !!

Germany are the fourth defending champions to be eliminated from the group stage at the World Cup in the last five tournaments (also France 2002, Italy 2010, Spain 2014). It seems that it a curse of the Champions. Repeatedly every World Cup winner in recent years have failed to progress beyond the group stage.

What went wrong for Germany?

Germans are the third successive World Cup champions to fall at the first hurdle in their title defence. A dramatic and shocking 2-0 defeat in Kazan proving the deserved death knell. Their loss to Mexico was due to lack of cohesion between defence and midfield when coming up against counter-attacks. But there is little excuse for failing to even score against a Korea side who came into the game without a point.

Low shuffled his pack in Kazan, making five alterations to the team which just about scraped past Sweden. Mesut Ozil, Sami Khedira, Mats Hummels, Niklas Sule and Leon Goretzka made the starting XI.

Ozil was dropped due to his performance against Mexico. But Low was annoyed by a lack of creativity on show in the clash with Sweden. But even with Ozil’s restoration, Germany looked sapped of craft and ingenuity in the final third. Ozil appeared their best route to goal in the first half. His silken touches, clever turns and intricate line-splitting passes exhibited on several occasions. But around him Germany offered precious little. Marco Reus drifted ineffectively. Goretzka struggled out wide and was sloppy in the middle. While Khedira again looked hapless in the final third.

On top of that, Joshua Kimmich endured a difficult time when pushing forward from right-back. His crosses invariably going straight out of play or too far to find a team-mate.

There were a couple of instances of promise early in the second period. Goretzka and Timo Werner going close following good deliveries from Ozil and Kimmich. But it was hardly the start of an imperious onslaught. Germany still needed more, their combination of slow movement and laborious thinking in the final third causing their chances of avoiding embarrassment to diminish by the minute.

The amounting pressure at the end minutes because of Sweden winning the other match.

With Sweden unexpectedly cruising against Mexico, Germany’s forays forward became more and more desperate to score. While Son Heung-min led a spirited counter for a Korea side really starting to threaten on the break. When you play with less urgency than a side that considers its own chances to be minimal, you know you have a problem. Structural issues have blighted Germany’s campaign and Korea’s late surges again showed them to be tearing at the seams. Shin’s men took full advantage – Kim Young-gwon scoring from close range in the second minute of stoppage time, before Son rounded things off with Manuel Neuer caught up the pitch.

Author’s take

This is the worst German defence that we have seen in recent years. The players lacked the hunger for goals and winning matches. They lacked dynamism. There was no creativity among the players execpt a few. But from a team like Germany we don’t except few creativites. We are used to seeing perfect passing and attacking football from the Germans. But this time they lacked that. They had more possession in all the three games. But possession don’t win you games unless you use the possession to score goals. They lacked a good striker like Klose, their all time leading goalscorer. There was no notable movement in the final third. The Germans were out of idea. The retirement of big names and great leaders like Lahm and Schweinsteiger were felt. Their boots seemed to be irreplacable in this World Cup.

But there is nothing to worry. The Germans are famous for their NEVER SAY DIE attitude. So we can be sure of a great comeback from them.

“It’s what we wanted, to keep going throughout the World Cup,” he said. “Records are there to be broken. Personally, I am very pleased to move forward and reach my goals with the team and continue making history. “After winning two matches 1-0, the best thing to do today was having done even better. I am happy we won and finish top of the group and make history again, because this is the first time Uruguay have won three (group) matches in a row in a World Cup and were top of the group. All of this is history.”

Salah apologises to fans

Egypt star Mohamed Salah has apologised to fans. After seeing his nation eliminated from the World Cup without a single point.

The latest defeat led to angry scenes in the Egypt dressing room after full time

An irritated Salah alleged to have been the first to board the team bus. But Salah has vowed to return to international football’s biggest stage. As he begged disappointed Egypt fans for forgiveness.

Coach Hector Cuper denied the rumours. The rumours suggested that Salah would leave the Egypt national team after the 1-2 defeat to Arab rivals Saudi Arabia. Cuper didn’t comment on why his star player hadn’t turned up to the scheduled press conference.

To qualify for the Round of 16, Argentina need to beat Nigeria and pray that Iceland loses against Croatia
If Iceland beats Croatia, Argentina will need to beat Nigeria by two more goals than the number of goals Iceland scored to win their match

That man is Lionel Messi, whose inability to win a world cup trophy with the current Argentine squad has dogged his record breaking career. Argentina currently sit at fourth place in Group D and faces second-placed Nigeria in their last group match today at 11:30 P.M. IST.

From Group D, with 6 points, Croatia sit on top of the table and only need one point against Iceland to win the group. Nigeria with 4 points can top the group table if they beat Argentina and Croatia lose to Iceland, as well as if Nigeria’s goal difference improves ahead of Croatia.

Struggling to make their mark, Iceland will aim for nothing less than a win.

A win against Argentina will guarantee Nigeria a place in the second round.

A draw may also be enough even if Iceland beat already-qualified Croatia, depending on goal difference.

For Argentina, they must beat Nigeria and hope Iceland do not win against Croatia, as that could send them home again depending on goal difference.

Messi’s Russian campaign threatens to be remembered for the poor penalty kick. It costed Argentina’s victory over Iceland. Then there was the under rated performance that followed by a 3-0 loss against Croatia. As a speculation around Messi’s retirement, the 31-year-old made a strong statement on whether or not he will hang his boots after Tuesday’s fixture. “I have won all the most important tournaments but I am ambitious to the end. I would not likely to retire from active football without being a world champion with my country”, Messi was quoted as saying by Mirror UK.
