The Assassin’s Creed Mirage release date might have been leaked online

The next Assassins Creed game, Assassins Creed Mirage, is set to be released later this year. We still don’t know when this year will be. Ubisoft has yet to reveal a release date for the PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, or Amazon Luna game, but previous rumors and reports have indicated that it will be available this summer.

The Ubisoft game will be released on June 30, 2023, according to Polish retailer Allegro. June 30 is a Friday, which is the most common day for AAA games to be released. So, the date appears to be correct in this regard; however, June 30 is also the last day of the month, suggesting that this is merely a placeholder.

And this makes sense because it’s unclear why a regional retailer would be aware of the game’s release date unless it’s about to be revealed and made available for pre-order.

Assassins Creed Mirage is officially scheduled for release in 2023. If this new leak is correct, it will be released on June 30. It will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and Amazon Luna when it is released.

Honda will bring its 2023 City Facelift and Hyundai bringing a new version of its Verna to the Market

The midsize SUV segment has grown in popularity in recent years, with high-volume sales occurring on a monthly basis. Recognizing its significance, more manufacturers have joined the path to a large pie. Taking all of this into account, Honda will release a facelifted version of the City in a few months, while the new generation Hyundai Verna will be available in the coming months.

1. 2023 Honda City Facelift

Honda is preparing a mid-lifecycle update for the 5th-generation City in India, which is set to debut in March 2023. This will be the first update since its release in mid-2020, though sources say it will only include minor cosmetic changes.

The City facelift will be available as a gasoline-only sedan. Due to the upcoming RDE norms, which go into effect in April 2023, Honda will discontinue the City’s 100hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine.

The Honda City facelift will be equipped with a 121hp, 1.5-litre petrol engine mated to either a 6-speed manual or CVT automatic transmission.

There will also be a 1.5-litre Atkinson Cycle petrol-hybrid powertrain with 126hp and an e-CVT transmission.

2. Hyundai Next-Gen Verna

The new generation Verna, which will go on sale later this year, will be powered by a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that has been revised. This engine should be comparable to the Virtus and Slavia’s 150PS, 1.5-litre TSI turbo engines. The current generation sedan comes standard with a seven-speed DCT and a turbocharged engine, which should be carried over to the next generation model.

The powertrain will remain unchanged, but there will be mechanical changes such as a revised suspension setup and a throatier exhaust note, as well as improved driving dynamics. To keep things consistent, the sedan will have sportier design elements both inside and out.

Intel plays it dirty to cause AMD to loose Desktop PC market share

A major Wall Street firm has downgraded AMD as a result of Intel’s destructive actions against its smaller rival in the desktop PC space in order to slow its market share expansion. According to Bernstein Research’s Stacy Rasgon, these actions may come back to bite Intel in the long run, but for the time being, Intel can use its vast manufacturing capacity and ability to offer competitive pricing to outsell its competitor and prevent its entry into the lucrative high-end notebook space.

Rasgon stated that Bernstein has recently become wary of potential PC dynamics as a result of the market outlook and Intel’s semi-destructive behaviour.

In Q3 2022, Intel’s Client Computing Group generated approximately 53% of its revenue, which is why the company must protect this business unit at all costs. Nonetheless, while Intel’s most recent generations of client CPUs are highly competitive, maintaining client PC earnings is becoming more difficult.

While AMD’s focus on higher-end CPUs for desktops and notebooks limits its market share growth, it steals sales and profits from Intel’s CCG.

Apple, which uses its own processors in the majority of its computers, is one of Intel’s most important customers. Apple’s PC market share is increasing, and it controlled 13.5% of PC shipments in Q3 2022, implying that Intel has lost around 13% of the PC market since late 2020, when Apple began using its own system-on-chips instead of Intel’s processors.

Rasgon stated that the PC market is weak, CPU sales are down, and competition between Intel and AMD is intensifying. Intel is using its vast production capacity, steep discounts, and close ties with PC makers to ensure that AMD does not ship all of the units it can.

AMD is preparing Instinct MI400 for its future Roadmaps

AMD reiterated the specifications of its Instinct MI300 APU, the world’s first data centre chip with an integrated x86 CPU and GPU architecture, at CES 2023. With 146 billion transistors, the chip is truly at the cutting edge of what modern chipmakers can achieve. It also makes use of the advantageous 3D Chiplet packaging technology, combining TSMC’s 5nm and 6nm IPs in a single unit.

AMD’s upcoming Instinct MI300 APU is a true engineering marvel, combining x86 CPU and GPU cores for the server segment, but the company has already confirmed the next-generation MI400 on its roadmap, as confirmed by Lenovo’s Vice President. It’s no surprise that AMD will continue to use this APU approach for the Instinct family down the road, as Lenovo’s Vice President, Scott Tease, has stated.

The VP confirmed that AMD has Instinct MI400 and other products on the way, and they like what they’ve seen so far.

Scott claims that future AMD Instinct GPUs, such as the MI300 and MI400, will consume more than a Kilowatt of power, a 2x increase over current-gen CPU and GPU designs for servers. This massive increase in power would necessitate the use of more expensive liquid cooling solutions to keep these monster chips cool.

It’s one of the issues raised by the Lenovo VP because, while the new architecture and software supporting it can run 70% of the applications available, the remaining 30% will force users to return to traditional x86 designs. The same is true for NVIDIA’s Hopper and Grace implementations, particularly the Grace CPU Superchip, which employs the Arm architecture.

Microsoft Q2 FY23 Report shows low performance and dwindling profits amidst massive layoffs

Microsoft has just released the second quarter of its fiscal 2023 results and during the second quarter, the software company earned $52.7 billion in revenue and $16.4 billion in net income. Revenue has increased by 2%, but net income has decreased by 12%. The announcement comes just days after Microsoft laid off 10,000 employees.

Microsoft had previously predicted a difficult quarter for Windows OEM revenue and hardware, and the results are clear on the current state of the PC industry. According to Canalys, PC shipments will fall by 16 percent in 2022, and Gartner reported a nearly 29 percent year-over-year drop in Q4 — the largest quarterly shipment decline since the company began tracking the PC market in the mid-1990s. As a result, Microsoft’s revenue from Windows has taken a significant hit.

Windows OEM revenue, which is the fee that PC manufacturers pay Microsoft to instal Windows on their machines, fell by 39% in Q2. According to Gartner, total PC shipments in 2022 will be close to pre-pandemic levels, indicating that the boom in laptop purchases is over.

This decline in the PC market has also affected Microsoft’s device revenues, which now include HoloLens and PC accessories in addition to Surface revenue.

Device revenue fell by 39% in Q2, despite Microsoft launching the new Surface Pro 9, Surface Laptop 5, and Surface Studio 2 Plus devices just before the holidays.

After Congress denied the Army’s request to purchase up to 6,900 HoloLens-based headsets, job cuts have been particularly severe in the HoloLens division. Microsoft’s struggles with HoloLens have been well documented over the last year, following the departure of former HoloLens boss Alex Kipman due to misconduct allegations, and Microsoft reportedly scrapped plans for a HoloLens 3.

Xbox hardware revenue has dropped by 13%, while Xbox content and services revenue has dropped by 12%. Overall, Microsoft’s gaming revenue fell 13% year on year. Microsoft sold fewer Xbox Series S/X consoles over the holidays than it did at higher prices in 2022. Microsoft reduced the price of the Xbox Series S to $249.99 for the holidays in order to increase interest in its Xbox Game Pass console.

Microsoft’s cloud revenue has a significant impact on this quarter’s earnings, with overall intelligent cloud revenue increasing 18% year on year. Revenue from server products and cloud services increased by 20%, while revenue from Azure and other cloud services increased by 31%.

Microsoft 365 consumer subscriptions increased by 12% this quarter, totaling 63.2 million. Microsoft just launched a new $1.99-per-month Microsoft 365 Basic subscription earlier this month, so expect the number of subscribers to increase in the next quarterly results. Microsoft has also been emphasising the Microsoft 365 brand over Microsoft Office, which will aid in subscription growth and awareness.

Apple 14-inch M2 MacBook Pro has an underperforming SSD

According to 9to5Mac tests, the entry-level 14-inch M2 MacBook Pro has a slower SSD than its predecessor. The 512GB SSD in Apple’s latest flagship achieved read speed scores of around 2,970 MB/s and write speed scores of around 3,150 MB/s in BlackMagic’s Disk Speed Test, compared to 4,900 MB/s reads and 3,950 MB/s writes in the M1 Pro with a 512GB SSD. That means the 2023 base model has around 39% slower reads and 20% slower writes than the 2021 model.

The reason for the disparity is most likely due to chips. According to 9to5Mac, the previous-generation 14-inch’s 512GB SSD had four NAND storage chips, whereas the one on the M2 Pro appears to have two. Because those are obviously higher-capacity chips, the computers have the same amount of storage but perform worse because they can’t parallelize reads and writes as much.

Apple has a history of producing newer generations of computers with fewer NAND chips and both the 256GB M2 MacBook Air and 13-inch MacBook Pro had slower storage than the M1 models.

However, those are entry-level laptops; the 14-inch MacBook Pro is a $2,000 computer aimed at creative professionals and developers — not a place where Apple would cut corners or sacrifice performance.

According to MacRumors, the 256GB M2 Mini has a single NAND chip, just like the Air and 13-inch Pro. While the base M2 Mini has a slower SSD than the M1, there is a tradeoff: the M2 model starts at $100 less than its predecessor. Given everything the computer has to offer in terms of real-world performance, it’s difficult to complain.

Fortunately, it appears that MacBook Pro models with upgraded storage do not suffer the same performance hit. Tom’s Guide and Laptop Mag tested a 14-inch M2 Pro laptop with a 2TB SSD, as well as one with an M2 Max processor, and the storage proved to be roughly as fast as or faster than previous-generation models.

Netflix has now come with a new revenge Korean Drama that has titled ‘The Glory’. The tale provides offers to have a long-gestating for viewers before the New Year. The streamer has dropped the official trailer for the film. This is a new K-Drama based on a woman who has spent years holding onto her grudges and planning for her revenge against the classmates that tormented her.

She has aimed mainly at one of her newly-married classmates, turning their every waking moment into a living nightmare. The new show features South Korean actress Song Hye-Kyo, the series is due out on the streamer on December 30.

She is waiting for the moment to start enacting her revenge. Slowly, she starts directly invading her life, threatening her personally despite her claims of repentance. Yeon isn’t her only target though.

In this show we will see Dong-sun begins targeting her attackers, staying on the periphery of their lives until it’s time to strike. She even gets an ally who asks her to kill for him, escalating everything to a new level. The rest of the footage is a tense flash of her confrontations with her former bullies, showing the violence she’s willing to go to as a form of divine punishment against those that made her school life hell.

Playing a vengeful woman is a fairly new experience for Song. She has also found success in films such as the Academy Award-nominated biographical drama The Grandmaster and John Woo’s The Crossing. She has shared her experience in an official statement about putting the focus on vengeance, not on Dong-eun as a sympathetic character. “not to portray Dong-eun as so pitiful she needs much consolation,” she said.

We are also going to see The Glory are Park Sung-hoon, Kim Hieora, Cha Joo-young, Kim Gun-woo, Lee Do-hyun, Lim Ji-yeon, Jung Sung-ill, and Yeom Hye-ran. Gil Ho Ahn directed the series while Kim Eun-sook penned the screenplay. Kim should be intimately familiar with Song having also penned her hit romantic drama Descendents of the Sun. Ajay Devgn and Tabu’s upcoming film ‘Bholaa‘ comes with the second teaser. The two are playing the role of a cop, with her arm fractured, being dragged across a dirt road by some thugs. After huge success in Runway 34, Ajay Devgn is once again going to rule the director’s chair once again.

On Monday, the actor declared his next adaptation which he will feature with his one good friend, the actor Tabu. The latest announcement confirms the film which is said to be a “high-octane, strongly-emotional drama,” is under production and also will wrap up the shoot by 20^th August.

We will like to inform you that Bholaa is mainly a remake of the Tamil superhit Kaithi which featured Karthi in the lead role. The film was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The 2019’s action-thriller is based on the prisoner who has helped the cop while they have been attacked by a gang of smugglers. The police then help him to get back his daughter.

The original film revolved around an ex-convict who decides to meet his daughter for the first time after being released from prison but gets caught in a face-off between police and the drug mafia. Bholaa marks Ajay’s fourth directorial film after U, Me Aur Hum in 2008, Shivaay in 2016, and Runway 34 in 2022.

At first, the movie was set to release this March. Now the franchise has confirmed that the fi8lm will hit on 30^th March 2023.
