AMD might be delayed to release its Radeon RX 7800, RX 7700, and RX 7600 “RDNA 3” GPUs

0

AMD released its high-end Radeon RX 7900 “RDNA 3” GPUs last year, but no mainstream releases have followed. Of course, the company’s contribution to the newer generation’s laptop series, such as the Radeon RX 7700S, 7600S, and Radeon RX 7600M GPUs, is not included.

NVIDIA has released several desktop variations, including the GeForce RTX 4090, RTX 4080, and RTX 4070 Ti, as well as the upcoming GeForce RTX 4070 and RTX 4060 series. This has not been without complications for the company. However, gamers were underwhelmed by the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 and RTX 4070 Ti GPUs due to their non-competitive pricing and significant price increase over their RTX 30 predecessors.

AMD experienced a vapour chamber issue with its Radeon RX 7900 XTX graphics cards, which saw performance drop as temperatures rose, hurting sales shortly after their release.

AMD has had no other desktop graphics cards for users, and the company has responded to the missing desktop GPUs in a recent statement. According to the company, the remaining unreleased graphics cards will most likely be delayed slightly. The company could be waiting for the Chinese 618 Shopping Festival, which could be risky because the latest generation of graphics cards would still be unavailable on the market.

According to MyDrivers, AMD intends to release the Radeon RX 7800, RX 7700, and RX 7600 “RDNA 3” GPUs next, which will be very competitive and cost-effective in comparison to NVIDIA’s RTX 40 mainstream lineup.

Nvidia is getting a closer than ever competition from Rival AMD in Gaming Market

0

According to Nvidia and AMD’s Q4 2022 financials, Nvidia’s perceived significant lead, Team Red is only 11 percent behind in total gaming revenue. Nvidia was hit much harder in that sector than AMD.

Both companies recently released year-end 2022 reports that revealed startlingly similar fourth-quarter gaming revenue. While Team Green’s income in that sector fell 46% year on year to $1.8 billion, Team Red’s fell only 7% to $1.6 billion.

The fiscal year totals show a larger disparity between the two companies. Surprisingly, revenue in the gaming sector swung in opposite directions by nearly equal percentages. In 2022, Nvidia made $9 billion in gaming revenue, while AMD made $6.8 billion. However, the former fell by 27% in comparison to 2021, while the latter increased by 21%.

These figures are much closer to the picture painted by Steam’s hardware survey, which puts Team Green at 75% of the GPU market. However, computer graphics only tell a portion of the story.

Nvidia includes its GeForce NOW cloud gaming service in its gaming revenues, but console shipments are the real missing piece.

Sony’s PlayStation 5 and Microsoft’s Xbox Series consoles are powered by Team Red, while Nvidia only powers the Nintendo Switch. According to recently released financials, while Nintendo sold more consoles in 2022 – 14.91 million to Sony’s 12.8 million – the NPD Group reports that PlayStation 5 hardware sales generated more North American revenue due to its higher price.

Because Microsoft does not disclose exact Xbox console sales figures, it is unclear how much it contributes to AMD’s bottom line. Analysts estimate that the Xbox Series X and S have sold 17 million units to date, while Sony and Nintendo have sold 32 million and 122 million units, respectively. A global economic slowdown impacted various tech sectors, including PCs and PC parts, throughout 2022, but analysts expect things to improve in the second half of 2023.

Ansu Fati hit with yet another injury after Manchester United loss

The 20-year-old has had the last two-and-a-half years plagued by injuries, which have significantly hampered his progress. The youngster spent 11 months out with a critical knee injury, and returned in time for the start of the 21/22 season.

Ansu Fati reveals Real Madrid trials before joining Barcelona

Asus ROG Strix XG27AQMR is here with 27-inch QHD panel sporting 300 Hz refresh rate

0

The Asus ROG Strix XG27AQMR not only has a 27-inch QHD panel, but it also has a native refresh rate of 300Hz. The new monitor is based on the ROG Strix XG27AQM, which has the same resolution and a refresh rate of 270Hz overclocked. The R at the end of the name of the latest model denotes the faster native refresh rate of 300Hz.

Both generations of monitors use a fast IPS panel, but the newer model’s Grey-to-Grey response time is 1ms, which is a fraction slower than the older model’s 0.5ms. The ROG Strix XG27AQMR has DisplayHDR 600 certification, which is higher than the DisplayHDR 400 rating of its predecessor, but the typical brightness remains unchanged at 350 nits.

Support for both Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium adaptive-sync technologies can be enabled alongside ELMB Sync, a low-motion-blur technology that Asus claims can eliminate ghosting and tearing for sharp visuals and high frame rates while gaming.

The Asus ROG Strix XG27AQMR monitor has 97% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage and 120% sRGB coverage.

It is also factory calibrated and comes with a calibration report. Buyers will find one DisplayPort 1.4 input, two HDMI 2.0 ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The ROG Strix XG27AQMR’s price and availability have yet to be announced by Asus. The previous non-R model costs around $649.99, so this upgraded model is likely to cost a little more. It should still be less expensive than the Asus ROG Swift PG27AQN, our choice for the best overall 1440p gaming monitor, which is 1440p@360Hz and costs nearly $1,200.

France’s Loss: Reflecting on Wendie Renard’s Remarkable Achievements as She Retires from International Football

Wendie Renard, France’s captain and star player, recently announced her retirement from the national team, shocking fans and fellow players alike just months before the FIFA Women’s World Cup. The 32-year-old defender made the announcement on social media, citing her unhappiness with the current situation with France’s staff and manager Corinne Diacre.

“I love France more than anything, I’m not perfect, far from that, but I can no longer condone the current system far from the requirements of the highest level,” said Renard.

Despite the unfortunate news, Renard’s impressive career with the national team cannot be ignored.

Here’s a look at some of Wendie Renard’s most notable achievements:

  1. 142 Appearances and 34 Goals

Wendie Renard has been one of the greatest footballers to ever represent France, and her contributions to the national team are significant. Renard made a total of 142 appearances for the national team, during which she scored 34 goals. She was a crucial player in the French defense and a reliable goal scorer. She was also the captain of the team, and her absence is likely to have a significant impact on their performance.

  1. Eight Uefa Women’s Champions League Titles

Wendie Renard is a legendary figure at her club, Olympique Lyonnais. Renard’s most significant achievement in club football is undoubtedly the eight Uefa Women’s Champions League titles she won with Olympique Lyonnais, where she also serves as captain. This impressive record has made her one of the greatest footballers in France’s history. She is widely regarded as one of the best defenders in the world.

  1. Highest Appearances in Women’s Champions League

Renard has made the most appearances in the Women’s Champions League, with 108 games played. She is also the first player to reach a century of games in the competition.

  1. Named to FIFPRO World XI

Wendie Renard’s exceptional performances for Lyon earned her a place on the FIFPRO World XI in 2018, an honor is given to the top eleven players in the world.

Despite her impressive achievements, Renard has been critical of the French national team’s system under Diacre’s leadership. In 2017, Renard was stripped of the captaincy after Diacre claimed that her level was not high enough. This was despite Renard’s excellent performances in the league, Champions League and being named to the FIFPRO World XI.

Wendie Renard’s announcement has sent shockwaves through the French football community, with many expressing their sadness at her decision. Fans have taken to social media to thank her for her contributions to the national team and to wish her well in her future endeavors.

With Renard’s retirement, France will have to look to other players to step up and fill the void left by the legendary defender. There are several players in the team who have the potential to do so, including Amel Majri, who has made 71 appearances for the team, and Grace Geyoro, who has made 40 appearances.

The French national team will now have to work hard to ensure that they are prepared for the World Cup, which is scheduled to take place in 2023. With Renard’s absence, they will need to focus on improving their team and ensuring that they have a strong and united squad that can compete at the highest level.

Wendie Renard, on the other hand, will be focusing on her club career, where she will be looking to help Olympique Lyonnais defend their European title this year. The team is set to face Chelsea in the quarter-finals, and Renard will be hoping to lead her team to victory once again.

While Renard’s decision to retire from international football is a loss for France, her remarkable achievements will be remembered for years to come. Her decision also highlights the importance of players’ mental health, and it’s essential for the teams and staff to prioritize their players’ well-being.

Wendie Renard’s retirement from international football has come as a shock to many, and her contributions to the French national team will be missed. However, she has made the decision that she feels is best for her, and fans around the world will continue to support her as she focuses on her club career. France will have to work hard to fill the void left by Renard, but with the talent, they have on their team, they are capable of achieving great things in the future.

As Wendie Renard focuses on defending her European title with Lyon, fans and fellow players alike will undoubtedly continue to celebrate her impressive career in football.

0

This smartphone comes with a 5.45-inch display that has a resolution of 480 x 960 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The device has thick bezels across the screen, which makes it look a bit old-fashioned. The device is available in two colours, Dark Cyan, and Charcoal.

Nokia C02 Specifications

Nokia C02

Under the hood, the Nokia C02 is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Unisoc processor, which is coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The device also has microSD card support, which allows users to expand the storage up to 256GB. The smartphone runs on Android 12 Go Edition out of the box, and Nokia is offering two years of security updates for the handset.

In terms of imaging, it features a 5MP rear camera accompanied by an LED flash with 2MP front camera. The camera setup of the device is not very impressive, but it’s reasonable for the price point.

The Nokia C02 is equipped with a 3,000mAh battery, which supports 5W charging. The battery life of the device should be decent, given its specifications. The smartphone also has an IP52 rating, which means it is dust and water-resistant to some extent.

Nokia C02

Connectivity-wise, the Nokia C02 offers dual-SIM card support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, and a micro USB port. The device also has a 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio support, which is a plus for people who still listen to the radio.

The Nokia C02 measures 148.7x 71.2x 10mm and weighs 191 grams, which is not very light, but it’s understandable considering its 3,000mAh battery. The design of the device is boxy and retains the same design as that of the Nokia C01 Plus, which was launched in 2021.

Nokia C02

As of now, Nokia has not revealed the pricing and availability of the Nokia C02. However, given its specifications, we can expect it to be priced competitively in the budget smartphone segment.
